Awesome! Very easy to personalize, been using it for just a few weeks and loving it :) Just one small problem. When you choose a wallpaper in the home screen, if you have more than one page of home apps, it stretches the wallpaper. But if you set the wallpaper in the regular settings it looks fine. Not a huge problem but definitely could be fixed. Other than that, incredible launcher!
AMAZING APP!!!!!! If you're looking for an amazing launcher, this is the one. It has a built in cleaner and makes my phone (Moto X) so much faster! If you download a new app, just take the icon and remove it and put it back and it will work with any icon pack. I recently sent a review with 3 stars and can't figure out how to delete it so if someone could pls help.
my cell phone is pocophone F1. And I use it in full screen gestures mode. but there is some lag. especially when I open an App and lock the screen. After that when I'm sweeping up in order to going to home screen page, there aren't any app in home screen for a few seconds!!!! And there is another lack. The animations/transiations are playing in low fps!! So they aren't playing smoothly. And for being perfect, If you can add blur effect for the background in that moment
This is a great launcher 10/10! Especially if you are too bored with your interface. My launcher doesn't have app info if you drag it. This Launcher has it, which saves me lot of time especially if I want to check the app info, I won't be needing to go to settings and search for app. This is much faster than default launcher. If your launcher usually crash and slow, I recommend using this. In short, I recommend this Launcher much.
This was the best launcher that I have used. It offers less customization but it has already built app categorizations which are accurate at most of my apps. As a user of almost 150+ apps, it's a hassle for me to categorize them. And sometimes, I forgot their names but remember their icon, so there is also sort by app icon logo, which really helps a lot.
I like being able to essentially tag apps into categories and find them that way. That makes it so much easier to organize. Big thing missing, though - I can't change app icons individually. So what's the point of installing 3rd party app icons if some will stick out like a sore thumb and I can't do anything aboht it? I also wish I could be prompted to tag apps as soon as I install them so they don't get lost - that'd be very helpful.
Aesthetically it's very pretty and smooth. I'd say it may be as light as Lean Launcher or Evie. One thing really bothers me and it's enough to knock it down 2 stars, in my opinion. That is - There's no way to get to App Info from the launcher. To view an app's data usage, storage usage, battery usage, etc. you have to go through settings. So, for now, I'm going back to something else.
I'm generally not the type of user to fuss around or customize a lot. But my screen got so out of control between my glitchy theme and loss of some of my favorite icons/shortcuts and the amount of apps I use (and get curious enough about to install) I wanted a quick fix. This launcher was about the best "fix" I could ask for. I love the drawer, the hidden icons option, etc. Xiaomi is an amazing organization! Keep up the great work! 👍🏼👏👌🏼
I'll give 3 stars for now. This is a very easy to use and a light launcher for your phone. However 2 things: first is please have us place widgets on the dock portion of the homescreen. Second is, let us have an option on the launcher to customize the icon. I know it sounds like we're heading towards Nova launcher. But at least add those two and i think you should be good. Just give us a bit more flexibility.
Should be 5 stars, as I have this also installed on my spouse's phone. Yes it is our favourite launcher. However the "doubletap to lock screen" disables the ability to unlock via onscreen fingerprint. We especially like the simplicity of the app, yet good customisation freedom. Also, there are very few lags experienced, and our phones go a whole week without the need to restart them. That's a good sign of this launcher's stability.
Would be nice if it was possible to hide applications only in the menu. So the shortcuts would be visible on the home screen but you wouldn't have the same apps in the menu. Shortcuts are the apps used very often, and the menu is for the less used apps. So I see no point in having the same app on the home screen and the menu. Rearranging the apps in the menu would be useful too. Otherwise It's a pretty good launcher, with all the basic customization. Keep up the good work 😁
All in all, performance is okay. No lags, no unecessary effects. But there are things i didn't like; one of them is that the name of the launcher is on the top of the app drawer. The authenticity and aesthetic was gone. I believe that people download third party launchers because it's either a. Their stock launcher sucks & b. Stock launcher lacks customizations. Launchers were supposed to feel original, you know, like it's really the launcher that came out of the box along side the unit. But with the name on the app drawer??? Who would want that? plus, there's no customization of the color of the drawer. i personally prefer it more translucent/transparent so i recommend putting or allowing us users to customize the color of the drawer. lastly, the icons. alow us to assign them individually. i believe every launcher have that feature. i hope poco will have it too, soon. uninstalling it for now.
So overall it's ok. Not impressed, no features.. I would like to be able to move icons around in app drawer and when they're in groups automatically be able to put ones where I want. Secondly the Launcher seems to have issues with messenger and my icon disappearing from the home screen and my texts sending and disappearing. It should not interfere with my other apps.. So I'm deleting this one and on to find a better one.
Pretty neat launcher. I don't think I've ever used a stock launcher as much as I have used this one. I'm quite impressed that it automatically categorizes apps and the wallpapers are good. Also support for icon packs is super. The launcher overall is clean and functional. I would give a 5 star if only I could create my own categories in the app drawer and edit which apps should fall under which category. Also, changing fonts and font colour to work well with themes would be great.
Not bad, using this on my Samsung A50, where the One Ui is prone to freezing. I like it's somewhat lightweight and has categories. Wish we had options to disable animations, to conserve even more battery . Also Poco cleaner can't close all apps, "security policy restricts you from stopping this application" and I can't configure it. Edited to remove mistakes, I shouldn't quote from memory. When adding items to categories in app drawer, how about not listing apps already in other categories?
Hi. The layout of your launcher is still not displaying properly on devices that do not have a navigation bar on rely on gestures to navigate their operating system. Can you guys please correct this in an update? Can we have the ability to change the shape of the folder icons as well? Really don't like the square ones. Please reopen the beta program. I would really like to join.
This launches is very fast, but there are a couple of functionalities I need. I'm being forced to use third party launchers on my poco F1 because of them. 1) I cannot create and arrange folders in my APP DRAWER. I know I could create them on my home page, but I like having my app drawer to be free. Also the categorise app categories is pretty useless cause it keeps my app drawer cluttered. 2) There are no custom gestures. I should be able to customise what I can do with the launcher. That's all
Well, as a default launcher thing it's kinda fine. But if I prefer to use the fullscreen gestures on my phone, it just doesn't allow me to have them with any third party one. Then come other inconvenient parts: like why I can't change the individual app's icon, or why the names aren't hideable. Moreover, when I delete just one icon from the main screen, all others just shift to the left, like a word document would behave
Before downloading Poco launcher I was super histant, as it looked like some fake ad-ful launcher .. but I thought that I should give it a try, and I didn't regret it at all .. I have been using Poco launcher for about 3 months now and I didn't face any problems, it even made my phone faster with the ram cleaning widget, as it's an old device .. it gave it that modern look with various other features like the sliding animations between home screens, it's pretty much perfect, would recommend.
Unique and clean design, best launcher I have used till now. Only one thing bugs me off and that's the lag. When I exit an application, the launcher just does not respond for a while. It isn't that long but still irritating. (When launcher doesn't respond, I can see my wallpaper and the notification bar. Even I can use the notification bar but the launcher's just gone.)
