Pogo: Earn Cash & Rewards

I do like this app. However, it gets annoying when I have to re-sync all of my apps constantly. Also, it sucks that it doesnt track my phone activity more often. It only tracks maybe one day out of the week for me, and I don't have any of my settings changed or off. I'm not 100% sure I would recommend this app, but I'm also not against it...

The app is nice for earning small credits from everyday use, but the amounts are very low and it takes a long time to reach even the $3 cash-out minimum. Receipt scanning has one of the smallest limits compared to other apps, so you have to be very consistent, especially during busy times like holidays. I also don’t recommend the game rewards — 2 out of 3 didn’t track properly and getting reimbursed was difficult.

UPDATE: Got it working for a few days, but now it won't accept the verification code! 😡 I've used Pogo for a while now, and have liked it quite a bit. But now I can't get it to start up. It gets stuck on the splash screen and doesn't go any further. I've updated the app, force stopped it, and cleared the cache, but it still won't go past the splash screen. I sent an email to the support address yesterday, but no response yet. Hopefully I can get this resolved before my current points expire.

It takes forever to get to 5000 points needed to cash out for $5. You only get 10 points per receipt. Sometimes they have a bonus where you can get 50 extra pts after you upload 7, but it takes forever. I've been using this app for 8 months and I've only cashed out once and I upload receipts daily. if you like apps where you get points to upload receipts there are better options. Such a fetch, coin out, frisbee, receipt hog, and receipt pal.

The amount of personal data required at sign up is disturbing. Most of it, I declined, but "invasive" just doesn't say it. It expects me to give this unknown app access, not my debit card, no, too easy to cancel if security goes south, but actual bank account. Update as first payment arrives. Seems to have a hard time reading receipts. Takes several tries for it to capture. Your long-time competitor doesn't have this much trouble. Docked one star until software is regulated. My time is valuable

Good: Takes receipts and online receipts if you link an account Bad: Several Clubs for syncing will disengage themselves and will not sign in despite being able to sign in on their respective websites just fine. Daily Check In is useless. Appears one day and not the next every time. Makes getting streaks impossible. I've contacted them and they told me its due to a lack of ads, which may be true, but not the reason it doesnt even appear. All in all, more of a hassle than its worth.

I stopped receiving points for reaching goals in a game and when I attempted to submit a ticket, they require screenshot and when you use the submit screenshot button on the bug report it kicks you out of the ticket submission and removes all your data from the ticket form. I didn't expect to get much from this, but soon after downloading the app, I began to notice issues popping up preventing me from earning points, and you can't submit a ticket for those issues. Don't waste your time.

I wanted to like this app. Unfortunately, it just doesn't work like it should. Linking some accounts or syncing receipts would fail no matter how many times you tried. Challenges couldn't be completed because even after completing tasks you wouldn't get credit for them. Contacted support and they tried to gift me points for the issues with the app, but the app wouldn't even let me collect the points they gifted because the app doesn't work. Not worth the effort.

I couldn't be more frustrated right now. Love the app for earning points, but I have been trying to cash out out for weeks with no luck. When I contact them for support, I get the same canned answers. I have tried everything they and still no luck cashing out. the latest was to send a video of what was happening, I had already sent a screenshot of the circle that just keeps going forever after I verify the information for plaid. I feel like I'll never be able to get my money.

Update: They finally gave me my reward, but, below still applies, outside of giving game reward. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! I emailed them and explained the multiple issues. They don't have any control over surveys. Then they asked for screen shots of where I completed the task in a game, and a screen shot of my game play time. I sent it but they didn't correct it. They erased all my streaks including the daily video. Today would have been the 4th day, so I would have got 105 points.

When you get to the higher dollar amount in games they freeze or stop tracking and they don't let you collect anymore. When you contact customer service they only let you have one reward once the game has frozen. which in turn prevents you from getting the higher dollar amounts. It really makes me mad that I put in all the time and effort to get to the higher rewards and for them to prevent someone getting them. Play at your own risk.

Through Pogo, I am playing the game "Box Jam". One of the listed goals, a bonus goal actually, is "BONUS: Reach Level 225. Complete within 2 Days" and the prize is 8,395 points. I completed that the same day I got to Level 200, and I never received my points. I definitely completed it within the 2 day time period. So, Pogo... you OWE me 8,395 points! I will change my rating AFTER I get them.

Horrible. I literally just scanned like 6 DIFFERENT receipts and every single one I tried to submit said they were all duplicates. How are the duplicates if they are all from different stores, coffee shops, speedway, family dollar? Are u serious!? after a year and a half of continuing to try and use this app and reaching out for help (can't seem to reach anyone) honestly not worth my time anymore. u guys have a lot u need to fix. 0 stars and uninstalling after years of being with u.

This app initially paid well. It is installed easily and is easy to navigate. However, I completed a more advanced offer and did not get paid for it. I emailed customer support, followed instructions, and received a response that my issue was being looked into. After 3 weeks, there was no response. When I try to follow up, I just get I message that I have already contacted them about this.

At first, it all worked great. Things were fast, it all added onto my account easily and pretty much instant. Now, not so much. Their support policy is not consumer friendly, only 1 time per game. So if it doesn't reward the first time, you get it fixed...and it doesn't once again. You're SOL. Update: Now multiple games don't function, not getting daily points for apps anymore. Survey points don't arrive correctly. nothing. is working! Don't waste your time.

I had reached multiple levels, but did not receive the points I should have been rewarded. Takes forever to get to any cash-out points in general. Apps that you download for points have WAY too many ads. I had reached out to customer support within the app and sent the screenshots of the info needed, but didn't get any feedback on whether the issue was/will be resolved, only an email thanking me for my time in reaching out. a week later, I still did not receive my points.

UPDATE: I tried reaching out to customer service again and ran into other errors that could not be resolved, so this 1-star review still stands. They say that if you delete your account that they don't keep any of your info, but that is far from the truth. Upon trying the app again, I realized it kept the info from all my linked accounts so I couldn't re-link them. I originally deleted the app because it caused too many phone errors.

Mostly great app. I love how it gives me credit for things I already use on my phone and there's no need to exclusively download more apps. It only scans Gmail and no Yahoo which is frustrating, however the tech gurus say they're working on it. And they're really responsive when there's an issue. I also have trouble staying connected to Sam's club and Walmart... again, tech gurus are working on that as well. Overall, I would download the app again.

this app is not a total scam, I did get some money out of them.. but when it came to them having to dish out a nice amount for me playing a game 40 days straight ( reward was over $300). they "can't see my days played" and "can't add the money" what a waste of time and dedication. I held up my end of the deal by playing 40 days straight and they won't hold up their end of the deal to pay me. I personally would be weary downloading this as they pick and choose when to give rewards.

This app does pay out. But it's slow. Slower than the ads make it seem, slower than other apps actually are. No streaks are maintained within the app, despite doing the actions every day. The list of games available to play is full of games that definitely will not credit you if you've EVER played that game before. I use this app almost exclusively for location rewards and app usage rewards, because it's a waste of time to go beyond that. I recommend geosmile if you want to make more.
