Pokewalk

To start; This app works for pogo maybe like 25% of the time. Which I was honestly fine with until now. I didn't have an issue when the ads for longer walks went from shorter ads to 60+ seconds either. What I do have an issue with is the sort of ads this app sends you. The ads that play will automatically open the play store or the affected app. One ad will open up your PayPal and ask you to log in! This is the only app I've used that's ever shown me an ad that automatically opens something.

Not really sure how I feel. Love that the afs are not so intrusive for what you want to do. Even love the setting your own distances to walk or run. What I am not loving is that for me and those in my house ( 4 of us in total), it works once and then have to uninstall/reinstall for it to work again. It's very frustrating even after using the help online.

Working until now Recently PoGo stopped taking in the distance from this app. It was working fine even without Google Fit app before this happened. I tried everything from reinstalling, restarting, but nothing worked. I waited a day after and it looked like it was fixed, but after a few more uses, it stopped working again. No other app can compare to this one. Don't know what's going on.

Feature request: - I'd like an option to cancel an action after starting and/or a way to delat the start of an action, if possuble. - A big timer on the main page reflecting progress as seen under the "progress" tab in the menu. I like the idea of just opening the app to take a quick peek at how my progress is looking. I think it could be useful for comparing to Google Fit, especially for those with no way of stopping apps from closing when you switch between them. Otherwise, great app!

This use to work great, but with the last update it doesn't keep me signed in. I have to sign in every time I go back to the app and in the middle of use if I minimize the app. I hope you can get this fixed i was working great before. It also stopped giving notifications once finished even though all notifications are turned on. No sound no pop up.

I mean, it works. It works and it works well. I don't mind having to watch ads for my custom distances, but I also wouldn't complain if you added an option to pay for a premium membership to just pass the ads. The ads are at max 30 seconds so it's not like you're waiting forever. If the ads don't load right away, close the app and reopen. That fixes it for me.

Works exceptionally as intended, specifically thru Google. I cannot stess this enough **Make sure you connect this app to the same Gmail as your pokemon in order to work properly.** Also, do not move your phone around if you put in a distance. It stacks and goes over the "speed limit" for obtaining candies. If you need to move, but need the distance, turn off your location. Also avoid tapping while "walking". Hope this helps someone.

I LOVED this app a couple years ago. It stopped working for me last year. I've uninstalled/reinstalled, I've checked the help guides, I've reconnected everything, checked Google fit, checked adventure sync. I close PG, set the app for 5km, and leave it all alone for hours to overnight. I've done everything as described to do to fix the issue and nothing has worked. This was attempt 3 of trying all of the above. Done now.

Great app. It has worked perfectly for me until recently. However, the issue is on Pokemon go's end, not this app. Adventure sync (which is what pogo uses to track distance outside the app) is broken for many players, including people who don't use this app. So I'd still recommend this app. If it works for you, great. If it doesn't, hopefully Niantic fixes pogo eventually.

It's been several days since it's log any distance. I went thru all the protocols to fix it and nothing is working. Please help! EDIT: Figured out the issue thru a reddit post. Go to pokemon go app info, permissions and make sure you allow physical activity. I'm not sure how it got reset but this fixed my issue if you're no recording steps. This app is awesome!

Works well providing adventure sync is properly set up. 2 suggestions that would be nice. - increase the distance limit above 50km this takes just over 5.5 hours on the run setting, and I'd like to be able to set it going for the whole night whilst I'm sleeping. - very minor, but it would be nice if we could reorder presets (or have them sorted by distance)

For when it worked it definitely was a 5 out of 5, unfortunately for me it stopped working completely no matter which distance with ad or not. I don't feel like it is the developer's fault so I would say try it out, it saved me a bunch of times when I just couldn't get those eggs hatched.

Great app but lately it doesn't work - the ads are not giving the option to click out of them, so you have to restart over and over, ultimately making you use the two free (without ads) options but they don't count distance correctly.

I loved this app. Worked great and the ads weren't too bad but it suddenly quit working. I've un-installed then re-installed it several times, and it won't close out the ads when finished now. Update Sept. 24 Thank y'all very much! The app is working again, the ads close when finished, and the clicking noise is gone. Wonderful and courteous response from help team. Thanks again!

No matter what I do, this app will only allow me to do the 2 ad free distance options. I've granted all permissions, am logged in with the same Google act as my Pogo & Google Fit accts, but the ads never load for me to use a greater distance option. the ad button stays grey, with a red rotating circle to the left of it. I've tried using 5G Data and wifi, both with strong signals the entire duration, but the ad button never loads for me. I also uninstalled & reinstalled. No luck.

This app is really great! It works as advertised. But the best part of it is: its HONESTY. No random interruptive ads, you get to pick the distance entered, and choose when you see an ad. That, right there, is kinda rare, right? Thank you, devs!! Also: if you're not seeing it give you more than the top two options, try spacing your button pressing out more. We gotta at least try to make it look legit, ya know?

I'm really at a loss on why sometimes this app works perfectly without any problems, and then other times it just... Doesn't. I've tried so many different things but it seems to be just completely random. It always as steps and distance to Google fit, but it seems to be completely up to the moon gods on whether it adds to Pokemon go or not.

It's a good app. However, for Pokémon go players, using defit would be a better choice. The reason for this is that pokewalk syncs the data to your Google fit only after the walk is over. Meaning if you chose a distance of 50 km, that would be synced in after about 5 hours. Defit syncs about every five minutes meaning you can keep it running and keep syncing your account and hatching eggs. Defit is more efficient due to this.

Going from a two star to a four-star because the dev put in some work! The app is better now than it was before, getting out of the ads is also better than it was before. I would rate this a four and a half star app but I don't think that's possible and I never give an app a perfect score unless it's absolutely incredible. I'm not sure an app exist that meets that criteria. Great work dev.

I seem to be having the same issue as many other folks- it just abruptly stopped working the other day. I did all I could- disconnect, reconnect my google account, uninstall and reinstall PoGo and Pokewalk, and no resolution. Seems it's a systemic problem. BUT it's been working great for me for so long that how can I complain?
