It's not pro quality. Unfortunately, there was no free trial so you could see what features were available, so I took the rush and signed up for a year (heavy discount), immediately regretted it, and tried to cancel (within minutes), but I'm still being charged for the full year. I will never use this app. I already have better ones on my phone. My fault for believing the hype.

This is one of the best filter apps there is! However I have some complaints.. When I try to import a style, it kicks me off the app. And I have to be importing the same style around 3 times so it can finally be imported.. Next complaint is that I want to change my username and it doesn't let me.. it says that there was a problem with the server, but my internet works very well! Hope you fix this as it triggers me a lot.. I'll give it a 2 stars for now

This app used to be great. When they changed to requiring a subscription to use most of the filters or pro editing tools, I stopped using it. Tried to come back and paid for the first subscription tier, but I can't even resize and photo or use the supposedly "free" tools without being told I need to upgrade to the higher plan. I feel like I wasted my money, and I can't even use editing features that are standard on my built in picture editing app. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.

So disappointed - Like so many others, this used to be my go to editing app, but it has become such a hassle now and lost quality. I even opted to pay for the annual subscription to continue editing my photos, however, after accidentally purchasing the lite plan, I purchased the pro plan and they still charged me the full amount (they didn't deduct the first plan's cost from my 2nd purchase for essentially the same product). Customer service is very poor and won't even respond to my messages.

The new update fixed the issue with opening the app luckily, it doesnt take long to get in anymore, but when attempting to use the app, it was really laggy. I can't open up any of my own photos either, no matter what I click it won't open any of my albums? Im stuck on the sample photo, which, again, lags so much when I try to test it.

Watch a 30 second add to save one photo? Fine. But now I can't even use my saved filters at all. I'm sorry, but that's actually outrageous. I understand that you need money for your creators, but a 30 second add for every picture is probably PLENTY. Absolutely everything worthwhile is behind a paywall and I wouldn't be upset about that if it was a one-time payment for everything, but it's a subscription. Even if you do pay for it, it's not worth it for what you get. I miss when this app was good

I've been wanting to use this app for a few months and finally installed it a while ago. The filters are amazing, but it really sucks how you have to pay for a subscription for almost EVERY feature. Also, the app's format is kinda wonky, but I think I'm just not used to it. There's also a few bugs. (-2 stars just for how limited the access to the app's features are.)

EDIT: The update that I received today, October 1 2018, FIXED it! After 2 months of not even being able to open the app, it opens and works well for me now, and it jumps back up to my #1 favorite photo editing app. Thank you!! This used to be my favorite image editing app, until August 2018 when my Pixel received the Android 9 (Pie) update. Now the app won't even open. I wish there were a way for the company to let us know that they are working on it. I hope they are! I'm keeping it installed on my phone for now & am trying to open every few days, hoping it'll work. Some people are paying a monthly subscription fee for this app and won't continue to pay for something that doesn't work.

Polarr was my go to app whenever I had to edit a photo, but now that even basic features are pay-walled, I no longer recommend it. If you do pay for the subscription keep in mind that most of the features you are paying for, (ex: Sharpness, film grain, HSL control) are completely free in other photo editing apps or programs.

I've used this app for editing photos and artworks I've made for years, and I love how easy it is to use. It tunes images beautifully. Now that a majority of the features are behind a membership it's practically useless. Basic editing tools shouldn't have to be paid for when many other apps offer them for free. I'm really saddened to see this happen to such a good app.

To anyone considering downloading this absolute garbage app: enjoy having a minute of ads for every download (you're forced to watch it in order to save), only being allowed to save three filters, and using only half of the filters available without a subscription. If you think it's anything like before—it's not, it's awful now. The company became greedy and nowadays, every app requires a subscription in order to use.

I've used this app for years and honestly it has gotten significantly worse as time has gone by. It wasn't ever very good, the editing was nice but the app crashed so much that it was hardly usable. I used it anyway because I didn't want to bother learning a new app. Now everything is locked behind a paywall and even if you only use the few free features they have, if you want to download more than 1 picture a day you have to watch a 30 second ad/photo.

This was my favorite app for editing my photos out of all of the apps the play has provided. It brought me so much joy to see photography become limitless prior to the update. However, with the best components of the app being walled off though the premium membership, there is not much to do. I understand that the owners have to make ends-meat, but still... this kinda sucks.

Do not waste your time. When you start to try and use the app, first it makes you log into your google account, even if you are logged in through the browser, then it opens up edge and tells you you don't have the right chrome extention downloaded, then when you download that extention, it allows you to install it on your phone, basically, it gives you a runaround of pointless tasks and never does whatever it is that it claims to do (which was never clear) This is not a valid service or softwar

this is just ridiculous. the amount of features locked behind premium, that were previously *standard free* features is ridiculous. you cannot use the majority of filters made by the community without paying, you cannot save more than 3 filters without paying, you cannot even SAVE YOUR EDITED PICTURS without having to watch an ad?! these all used to be free! what's the point of having the app as free to download when it's clearly UNUSABLE without paying.

First off, my experience has been full of bugs. I want to rate this higher because of its potential and power, but when I have to fight the app just to keep the keyboard up to log in, its sorta upsetting. ESPECIALLY when it hasn't been updated in over 4 months. If you're charging a subscription, even if it isn't required, its courtesy to patch atleast once a month. So until this app catches up to modern standards of app development and fixes bugs, it'll remain 1 star.

I upgraded to Polarr pro and was having a good time using it. I had a yearly subscription and after 5 months of payments they stopped letting me use their pro tools and I wasn't registered as a pro user anymore even though they were taking money out of my account every month. Two months of getting the run around.....Trying to contact them is like trying to pull your own tooth, they don't care if they rip you off, just cancelled my subscription.

Edit: Dec2020 What happened to the interface? I used to love this app, if was like a mini lightroom, well laid out and powerful. I'll admit it's still powerful but the interface is ... Meh. It's vertical instead of horizontal and why did they cram everything into "adjust" instead of having everything within reach? It just looks like actual lightroom mobile, which isn't a good thing. Downgrade to 3 stars. Distortion correction and Tint controls make this killer. Need raw support, but I'll wait

I am editing my review for the forth time and the app is still broken after the update. All of my filters are wrong. They are all showing them as art filters again and showing the wrong covers/colors. The art filters is the one polarr made. I even waited again overnight to see if it just needed to load. The thing still isn't working and I can't share.

All I do in this app is add letterboxing to photos via the "border" tool. (Filters? Ew!) Everything was cool until it forced me to watch 30 seconds of ads for junk. 30 seconds is way too much for what I want from this app. And if the app creators want to associate with ads from Temu, that's good for you but it speaks volumes to me. Junk pushes junk.
