Police Scanner 5.0

This app required a credit card for a Free trial. I immediately attempted to cancel it. The only way I could request the cancellation was by finding their email support address. They told me to cancel it in Google Play. It isn't listed in my Google Play subscriptions!!!! They have already charged my credit card $39.95!!! I don't know what to do to cancel the "subscription" so that they don't charge me next month. I have started a dispute on the charge with my credit card company. DON'T!

Complete scammers, they claim a 3 day free trial, then $39.99 for a year. I uninstalled the app. Went to another one that is free to use only wanted information to verify that I was over 18 I instantly got a notification from my bank for a $39.99 that my bank declined and then they tried again tor $2.99 which my bank also declined. Now I have to get a new debit card number. This company will go after your money anyway they can check your bank accounts even if you uninstalled this app.

Was a great app but now there is ads that play upon startup that can take a minute or more before you can actually listen to the emergency. No option to skip. Most of the times you miss the call and are left without any info. Will delete this app and download another.

so far so good. but why everyime I go to use it. there is a commercial at the beginning?? I paid for it for no ads. Anyway to stop this ?

paid to remove ads and still get them sometimes. FIx the issue and would be rated higher

I've reinstalled this app three times and every time I get ready to start it it gives me a message that it fails to download. I've cleared the cache I've deleted the storage I've even uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and it still keeps happening over and over. up until the 1st of December 2025 it worked fine then suddenly I kept getting those error messages

I used to love this scanner always on the spot local and listen national. I paid for it and now I got a new phone and it won't install kinda feel my money was stolen if you can get it to work after installing never change or update your phone or you'll loose it. awesome app just sucks they take it away it would be great if they would explain why it won't open after downloading

Way too many ads

used to work and it worked great, but now every time I try to use it.It won't connect to the network, regardless of if i'm on wifi or t mobile in the middle of town, or if I wait a couple days and try it or restart my phone no matter what I do.I think the app has just crashed for good now do not download!

This is a nicer app than most and while ads are limited, it's gotten lately where if you get an advertisement that is a video (especially for Newsbreak), you aren't able to pass it, even after it's finished playing. This makes the app completely unusable and is incredibly frustrating.

This is the worst scanner app I have ever downloaded. There are way too many ads and it just freezes up and crashes. The worst thing about it is that I can't uninstall it! No matter how many times I click uninstall it will NOT!

This app use to work great. Very user friendly & reliable. Out of nowhere it stopped working, only gives a pop-up saying "Oops... Network Error: failed to load". Tried uninstalling/ re-installing. Still isn't working.

after downloading the app and purchasing the remove all ad option I now have more ads than before. Google won't issue a refund and not clear how to refund from developer. After doing a little research in the Play store I discovered quite a few similar, VERY SIMILAR apps with the same layout. Looks like it was designed by same person/company almost as a way to scam people out of a few dollars here few dollars there.

this has way too many ads, especially since I paid to remove all ads, but here we are. I can't even hear the scanner for the ads that cover the app. I'm looking for something better. when I pay to remove ads and continue to see them, I am not happy about that.

Use to work all the time when 1st downloaded and now when I use it seen like it was quite all the time like it was not scanning because not 1 sound was made in a day and that happen 3 Days in a row last month so I did not bother opening it till now, so I will double check And if I hear not a peep I'm going to delete it because that means it's just taking up space period.

Great app, I've only had it for a few days, but seems to be better than the only other scanner app with my town on it. The other app randomly would have ads and would cut into what was being said on the radio. This has WAY fewer ads, And they seem to only play whenever you first start the app, or if yo change the station.

I open the app when I first got it. and it works... to an extent. but later on when things were happening around town, i opened the app. and nothing.. any channel I went to gave me no sound. I checked my phone and app settings. everything is good.but I get no sound even when I listen for an extended period. I know i should hear onsies ans twosies.

Paid to remove ads but ads still showing! I did NOT get what I paid for, so am requesting a refund! EDIT: I received my refund from Google play. My request to this app's developer is Once the ads have been confirmed guaranteed on playstore here to be actually REMOVED in total by you then & only then will I spend money on your app! At present this app does NOT remove ADS even after paying to remove ads! Disappointing & Misleading to customers!!!
