Pooking - Billiards City

Just finished the 2018 version of all 1020 levels, all with gold crowns! Latest update made heart count and aiming line near rails harder to see. Overall a fun challenge. Really enjoy the gameplay and conttols. Upon reinstalling in 2025 I found its overrun with ads, to where playing the game in airplane mode doesn't keep them at bay. The game is also full of weird tables that you'd never encounter in real life. The original version was addicting, but now it's meh.

This bears a real resemblance to "Shooting Ball," which is a real boring game after awhile. The negatives are annoying ads that are non existent at the beginning lulling you into a false sense of security. Some will come when taking your turn and whisking you away! Some will also try to lock your phone. On the whole it's better & more fun than "Shooting Ball." I don't like the controls but I figured out it's because I am left handed. Not a bad game so far.

I had tried a different pool game, but didn't like it's format, too busy for me.. This, at least so far, looks like it is more like what I wanted. All I wanted was to play pool. This has a fairly decent aiming design. It shows different arrangements of balls on different shaped tables. All you do is shoot all the balls. I found that the different shaped tables can make for more interesting shots. The same basic rules of how to shoot apply. All I've been doing is the daily games. I like it.

It is one of very, very few that does not show ads after every round. When you miss, you miss. No over the top yea's or Yahoo's. I really like POOKING CITY. It is really close to a real game with friends, a cold drink and killer sounds in the background. Another plus is you don't have to find the chalk after just a few shots. I love the table shape. I wish I had a pooking table. I say try it. I think you will hang around for 50 or 60 rounds. You'll see.

Excellent graphics and fairly good playability. However, as noted by several others, the speed control can have a hair trigger and make a shot without intending to. Also, the speed/power is inconsistent. A shot taken with the same setting can have greatly different results. Also, I'm caught in an endless game with no apparent goal or way out. I'm up in the 230 levels and can only keep going up a level at a time. Finally, without any help or documentation, the user is left to guess at certain objects, such as the hand and different cues. All in all, a decent game that needs just a bit of refinement to make it an excellent one.

Very easy game to play, and has actually given me pointers on how to play a real game of pool, like where to hit the cue ball and what angle to place the cue stick at. My only complaint is that there seems to be a few glitches. When you run out of hearts or "lives", you can watch a short ad video to replenish your hearts, however sometimes when you hit the "try again", button nothing happens, and you're forced to start at the beginning of the round. Also, it appears that some balls fall off the table.

Of all the pool and billiard Apps I've downloaded, installed and uninstalled after becoming disappointed, this one is a keeper! It definitely allows you to make the most accurate, life-like professional shots. This is played on my smartphone but it would be fantastic on a tablet. Even greater if there was a version for PC. Just saying... I would certainly be interested in buying a professional, minus the adds and arcade features.

Pretty good. Love how easy it is to start and love the risk and reward factor of pulling off some trick shots. Love how the pool table changes in form every few levels, making the engagement all the more...engaging. My one downside is that I wish there was a shop where you can buy different cues, I'm already at level 75 and I only have 4 cues in total. I know it's stupid, but as someone who likes collecting things, in game or not, I feel it would be a neat little detail.

It's good, I like the gameplay. Please change up the music, as it gets repetitive after the 2nd level and you can hear the track loop start over. Way too many ads, also please make a mode where you could break the balls instead of always having levels where you just shoot random balls. Update 2021: Game is great but please add a feature to remove ads even for .99

I once rated this game 5 stars. Played it alot. Had it for a few years now. I'd play it for hours at a time! That was before the ads started getting more frequent. Now I lose patience and turn it off. There's nothing like being on a hard level and trying to get an all combo, missing a shot, and then having to sit through all the ads before trying again. I still like the game but wish you'd offer an ad free option.

One of the best single player games I have played. It is very relaxing and has several levels. What makes it stressful is the ads you see at the end of every single level, or if you retry a level. It just gets exhausting to have to click out of so many ads. An ad when you enter the game, and when you exit is not so bad, but at every level is very tiring.

Intrusive and sound-based advertisements after every single pool table (including the intro missions) makes for a terrible experience. Game wise, I was liking it. I would have recommended it. Different table designs provided variety and a different kind of challenge. The game is very intuitive and the intro missions provide the player the necessary information on how to play the game. I just wish there wasn't an advertisement seemingly every 10 seconds.

Nice chill game to play when you have some down time. It's not going to be the most riveting gameplay, because it's all pool so there's only so much variation you can get. It does have enough different table shapes and ball formations to provide a little variety. There are ads between each round, but they're almost all short, like 5-10 seconds, which I appreciate.

I love this game! It's challenges and different was to play...one drawback, you don't give the option of signing in one Facebook. They back up your game progress. I once was close to game 2,000, but I got a new phone, and when I transferred all of my apps and such, when I went to play a relaxing game, I found that I had to start at game 1 all over again. Very frustrating. Please, programmers, let us log on through Facebook.

Overall a great pool game. However in the upper levels, around level 590 and higher, twice now the balls have disappeared into the cushions instead of bouncing off like normal. I've been unable to get past level 653 due to this. I have had to restart the entire game back to level one three times now. Other than that, great realistic play and sounds.

Good game overall. Good physics, etcetera. My problem is I've gotten to level 360, and there hasn't been one regular pool game to play. If it does have a regular game, you apparently have to level up extremely high to unlock it. Not having a regular game to play or if you have to level up extremely high to unlock it is a drawback for me. Despite this, I enjoy playing the game.

Dear Devs. I've Been playing this game for 3 weeks. And I cannot stop playing it. (currently at level 206) things I would like to see added. 1.new pool sticks. 2.being able to change the position of the shot meter and turn meter. 3.different game levels (some that come to mind are. 1.Color game (shoot are green balls before you go to a different color if you pot anything other colore before the green balls are gone you have go restart.) 4. Add a leadership board. Other then that best pool game I've played

The only thing i'd change is that there is no consideration of english. Meaning there is no line that shows you where your ball will end up on the table, no line to show you that you're gonna scratch, no indications of what english you should use... bottom, top, left or right. I wish they'd implement that somehow. Otherwise, great game!

I have truly enjoyed this app. Even though it does have an ad after every completed game, at least it's not an ad after every couple of moves. And at least the ads are less than 15-30 seconds. After all they do need to make some money? I find it very relaxing & challenging at the same time. When I get my crown 👑 for a flawless game, great but if I win a game without a flawless finish, I'm glad it allows me to play again & again until I can achieve a crown. I normally wait but this deserves a 👍

Like the game graphics and no time limits! DO NOT like the ads every time you have to start a level over! Now comes the truly bad part to this game and that is a Shooting ad !! Completely inappropriate for this game!!! Shows a competition and actually shooting the poor animals in the ad! TERRIBLE!! If this ad is not removed I will be deleting this game!
