My rating is because of one major flaw in the system. The app gives me a default delivery location based on postcode and the option to select another or a Pakkeboks. While in reality the post office or some AI bot decides some totally random delivery location. Stop pretending you offer a service that you do not and remove the option to choose from the app. Then at least we know it's just a lottery to find out where our packages will be delivered.
App keeps screen brightness on max after showing qr code. Have to close and stop the app to be able to use it again without having the brightness on max. Some parcels just don't update in the app while the they are up to date when logging in via a browser.
Terrible IT security! I got around 50 packages in the app that was for other people! I could track these as normal and see where they could be picked up (which was all over the general area where I live). I got the pickup codes and the scannable parts as well. In theory, the posten app allowed me to go around picking up other peoples packages! My worry is that something similar has affected other app users as well, so they could see other peoples packages. What if someone was less than honest?
some adware? doesn't remember to be signed in. and maybe some security flaws. nice sometimes, want to avoid it but convenient for some things.
Don't order home delivery, they wont provide it. They'll claim to have attempted it (outside of the delivery window they themselves set, and without going near the address or contacting you in any way), then redirect it to a pick up point at some later date, citing that the "address or recipient could not be found". Seems unlikely, given I'm home every time you pull this stunt, the doorbell never rings (i did fill that in on your "glow" service), and the phone number I provided is not called 🤷
Have big issues while opening individual parcel details in the app. Keep getting the "Encountered an error. Please try again later". Nothing helps, have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app and that didn't work either. It was embarrassing trying to collect a parcel and receiving this error message while there was a queue behind me.
Recent (forced) update removed the option of manually refreshing the parcel list for tracking updates. Now requires a full restart of the app every time. Automatically forces entries that are still in transit (but taking a long time to arrive) into the archive and marks them as delivered, with no way of manually changing it. The "unarchive" button does nothing, and deleting/re-adding the tracking number simply pushes it immediately back into the archive. Useless.
A parcel is being sent to me from Norway with Posten. I need to log into the app in order to check my delivery (I think there might be a fee i have to pay), but I'm in the UK and I do not have a +45, +46 or +47 phone number, so it will not allow me to create an account. It won't even let me put in my +44 phone number with the wrong country code.
The app doesn't give you options for sending parcels abroad. I haven't got the opportunity to test it a lot, but it seems the app does not send messages about packages received. They are visible in the app, but it is necessary to open it. That is not what you do unless you know you expect a sending. I think it is better to use the web site interface than the app.
It's alright. But it has a major flaw, I don't know if it's because its the mobile version but this app doesn't show expected delivery date. You'd have to manually search for it online. However if you didn't know how to change the settings it redirects you back to the app and it doesn't show the date. How can you track a package with no delivery date?
The app no longer finds my parcels. This is very frustrating. I already uninstalled and re-instslled, but it still does not work. All I get is that it cannot find my packages, eventhough I'm using the notifications I get on the phone. Please fix.
Tracking randomly stops and I don't get notified when packages can be picked up. I missed several packages because of this. Tracking is correct on the website, so it's clearly the app that is not working correctly.

Update'23: Why do you send out pick-up notices with a collect within date when (a) you don't know there the parcel is, (b) the parcel is not in the country and (c) noone can say when the parcel can be collected. Sounds like a good time to send out collect-notifications, right!?! You really earn your 1 star! Just kept going and going and going with its updates.
For two times I have been facing troubles to receive my parcels, due the app at posten don't register my telephone number or e-mail adress and every time I need to call customer service what is never open in my free time sine I work from 8 to 16. My parcels return because I cannot collect them.
Doesn't really offer anything useful. Adds parcels willy-nilly and claims I added them myself, but no ifo can be foind in any system. Also, will not let me select what language to use, it defaults to English since I use English OS. I'm not impressed.
The app at some point told me my package was "delayed and will be delivered to the recipient later" without elaborating on what later meant. Like what? A day? An hour? A month? A year? Hello?? Elaborate please. Aside from this the app tracks well and does as it should. It just sucks at telling me what I need.
Not sure if my review was removed, but basically, this app is now forced uppon it's users in order for them to receive their packages. I refuse to change this review until better alternatives like paper letters in the mailbox or sms is available again.
I can't believe how good this is. I got a notification that a delivery is pending right from the moment it was sent and upon opening the notification it shows all relevant info regarding the delivery and a nice clean layout with all available options as well. This is the app that other app developers should look at when considering how to make a good app
Terrible application, one would think a major update could fix issues, but I stil cannot see my addresses in the app. Only errors. Maybe invest in better minortoring and logging software?
