For yrs the flight function did not work. Now that it does, one you put all your info in and hit purchase, it gives you a fare not available option and your payment does not go through. You select flight try again still does not work. Then you finally have to try from a PC or laptop. Also, customer service is terrible. you can be on the phone for hours, they transfer you around, don't help you, and give you conflicting information.

HORRIBLE! *DO NOT USE!* They try to get you to download the app to get certain discounts (usually very minimal discounts at that...I'm talking under $10, and it's pretty much always "Express Deal" only, where you don't know what you're getting, until you book.) ..Don't do it! Their app is AWFUL! Way less features than their website, not easy to navigate, and super glitchy. I lost over $200, because the book now pay later option then switches to full payment upfront once you click it. Beware!

I've had some good experiences with priceline. However, I just found a room on express deal. There were 3 options for rooms. I chose the more expensive of them expecting the room would be an upgrade. Not so, it just cost the same as the upgrade listed under the hotel on the app. Then I was told they don't offer room options on express deals "duh". I have screenshots! I didn't make this up! What?! So it's like here..."pay more for a worse room and we'll call it a deal" then tell you your dumb.

Priceline is by far the cheapest and most convenient discount travel website. However, they do not have super great customer service when it comes to a return policy. I have booked various trips in numerous locations through Priceline, and only two times was I greatly disappointed in the property and asked for my money back. They did not grant my request, which, based on how long I have been one of their customers, I feel is completely unreasonable and unjustified, they failed in this regard.

Edit: One improvement I would recommend is allowing to stay signed in rather than having to sign in EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I open the app. Kind of irritating & doesn't seem it would be a difficult problem to fix! Holy DEALS !! Name your own price is magnificent. Even if the price you name doesn't get approved, the deals afterward are at least 50% cheaper than the original price. Absolutely phenomenal! Definitely recommend if you're a bargainer!!

The app changed the city I was looking in and by the time I booked and read my confirmation, about 9 minutes later, called customer service. There was nothing they could or would do to change the booking. Not cancel, change date, location, nothing. Took my money even though the hotel was 60 some miles the wrong direction. Basically told to bad. Do not recommend.

Priceline has literally been the worst booking service I've ever used. In order to truly detail the amount of time and money I've wasted it would take me far more than the 500 characters alloted. I booked a vacation package and somehow it turned out that our flight wouldn't take us to our resort. HOW IS THAT LOGICAL!? It was booked as a package! Long story short, we had to pay $2k for new plane tickets. Do not make the same mistakes that I did and research the recent complaints through the BBB.

Terrible customer service. Booked the wrong date and needed to change it. Hotel said they would release the money and it wouldn't be a problem. Called Priceline to change the date and they refused. There was absolutely no reason why they couldn't work with me on it. The price was the same and the hotel was ok with it. Never had this issue with any of their competitors. Will not be using Priceline to book my rental cars, flights, or hotels ever again.

In the past I have had great experiences with Priceline. However, when recently attempting to book a flight on 4 separate occasions, the funds were removed from my account and the booking did not go through. I was told I had to wait 3-5 days to receive a refund. The explanation given was that the flights were no longer available, but after checking over an hour later, the same flights I attempted to book were still showing as an option to purchase. I will not use priceline again.

I definitely can no longer recommend renting vehicles through Priceline! Also, be extra careful when setting hotel itinerary dates. It can switch back to the date of booking instead of the date intended. "As a loyal customer, we understand your frustration, but unfortunately, the reservation you purchased is non-changeable and non-refundable, as clearly indicated in our system." Priceline will not correct this. You'll be out of those funds, and you'll still need a hotel room.

I tried to book a flight and it wouldn't let me purchase the one I wanted after I logged into my account. I had to log out and purchase as a guest. Then it wouldn't let me add my known traveler number. Now I have to call the airline. I tried calling customer service but it is automated to just a few problems. You cannot get any help for issues other than canceling your flight or changing it. Priceline used to be my go to. I found better with great customer service. They answer their calls.

I'll never use again. Booked a stay. And upon booking the travel 10 mins later decided to add days to my trip. The customer service on chat did not allow me to add time to my trip. I asked if I could cancel and re book with the extra days. They said no and I'd have to call the hotel to ask. They hotel says they do not deal with any third party reservations and are no help. I booked it 10 mins ago and was told any changes were to results in "no show" fees of the entire cost of the booking.

Please know that they will do anything they can not to honor their price guarantee. The day before travel, I found the price way cheaper on the hotel's website the express deal. I sent them a screenshot, but I accidentally selected one person instead of two for the reservation that I screenshot. They refused to honor the price, even though it was exactly the same price for one or two people. By the time they rejected it, the price had changed and I could get another screenshot.

Customer service has been giving me the run around for 3 days now. I've talked to atleast 7 different customer service reps and still don't have my money back. I booked 6 days at a hotel they immediately took the funds before check in and by the time we got to the hotel to check in they couldn't find our booking and when they finally found it somebody had cancelled it on Priceline's end making us have to pay again out of pocket so we weren't sleeping outside. Absolutely uncalled for.

Booking a hotel for DC. Picked a hotel, but looked at an Express deal. Funny thing, the hotel I picked and the Express deal were the same price, $192/night for 7 nights, but the "taxes and fees" were $100 higher on the Express Deal. Oh yeah, the Express Deal ended up being the same hotel I was planning on getting anyway.... But I ended up paying $100 more. Huh, great deal. Last time I use Priceline

Dishonest pricing. Several times I've reserved through priceline at a "deal" only to be charged an additional $100-500 for a "deposit" at the hotels, most of which aren't listed in the booking information. If you book a "non refundable" booking without knowing there would be a large deposit, you cannot cancel or you'll lose your money without even being able to check in at the hotel. And I'm a "Gold" member...

I booked a hotel in Seattle but when I got there, they couldn't find my booking. I ended up paying again for my stay. When I contacted Priceline, they told me I was a no show at the hotel. 10 calls and emails forwarding my credit card statement later, I didn't get anywhere. I gave up which is what I presume they were hoping so I will never ever use them again!!!

Spent several minutes trying to book a reservation for a hotel on Thursday night. double checking everything several times. Then get to the hotel and the reservation is for the next night. I then tried to cancel my reservation by phone. A recording asked me for my phone number, itinerary number, or trip number. I tried ALL THREE several times. EACH TIME it would say my numbers were not recognized, AND THEN HANG UP!!!! THEN the hotel tried to charge me $169 for a room. DON'T USE PRICELINE!!!!!!!

Officially done with Priceline. I book at least once a month, if not more. Today I booked a 4 star express deal, and the hotel they gave me is a 3 star hotel. They have it listed as 4, but if you google the hotel its listed as 3, and every other 3rd party app has it listed as 3. So they're basically scamming customers. Honestly the prices really aren't that much better than booking straight through the hotel and it's way less hassle to just book direct.

I like how the app is set up, and the ease of use. I am constantly getting crazy good deals on hotels that I would otherwise never be able to afford. However any time I've needed customer service....let's just say that the customer service may as well be nonexistent. And I'm a "platinum " member, so theoretically I am supposed to be "top priority" hence the 3 stars.
