1 star rating until the Zelle experience is fixed. very slow to load, sometimes doesn't load at all, and on the payment screen, the "review" button covers the 0 on the on-screen keypad, meaning I can't send an amount of money with a 0 in it. I keep having to send people 11¢ extra... and I can't use the normal zelle app bc provident locks you out

Depositing a check via this app is horrendous. BofA mobile deposits are a breeze in comparison. Provident needs to fix this. Thinking of closing my accounts for this reason. It's 2022. Mobile check deposits shouldn't be this difficult, time consuming and frustrating. We all have lives to lead and time is money. Can't spend that much time on something so simple.

I do not like the interface of this mobile app. Lakeland banks interface was so much easier to use that you could see your credit score and send zelle right on the main page, unlike the provident, where you have to go searching for the zelle. and when I do log on to the mobile app to check my account balance 95% of the time, it says itcan not provide account information. Please try again later. you'd think after a month the bugs and glitches would be fixed for the people forced to switch over 😒

This app is the most basic of any bank. It doesn't give option to dispute transactions like other banks nor any cool add ons like a review of your spending habits so u can better save. Worst problem is it is constantly changing my password and even if I reset it, the app doesn't. I also get no notifications at all from the bank and they have locked my acct 2x for $20 credit purchases at stores I go to all the time without warning. They had a previous app no mention of the change.

Customer service is a major disaster. The transfer from lakeland bank to provident bank was anything but smooth. I cannot access my account through this app because apparently my account doesn't exist, when I was told that all the information was supose to transfer over. I was just on hold for Customer support for 1 hour with no answer! I assumed that a company that's been around for 185 years would have better services, I assumed wrong. Shame, Do better.

Disappointing to login, some enhanced features. Mostly it's "more secure" (read: impossible) to access. Other bank apps like capital one are much easier to access. Why not at least let me quick view balances? I've been trying to have the app verify it's me with no success. I've "successfully completed" at least 3 verification phone calls. This upgraded app is a waste and not worth your time.

Check deposit is very slow. App asks you if you can read the text on the check & forces you to look at the picture again. I click that the picture is ok & then the deposit goes through. The one time the picture wasn't clear, the app made me take the picture again immediately. Also, you can't Zelle more than 4 people in a row. Frustrating!!!

1st I tried to use a solid yellow background. it didn't like that. then I tried a solid white paper . it didn't like that. I had to keep going farther away from the check until I was holding it almost 24" above & it still wouldn't take it. so I did a manual photo. it didn't like that either. then it told me to use an dark background. I tried a burgundy tablecloth- miraculously 9" over the check it finally said ok. Then I noticed I had to write "for mobile deposit only" on the back...aaarrrgh!

Basic app. It shows only general info of accounts (doesn't show all transactions/spending, etc), shows total of all money for all accounts combined on your checking section (instead of just how much is in checking) which is annoying, the mobile check deposit has gotten better, the debit card manage section is just a switch to de/activate it (no pin resets, transaction list, etc). It is not as full featured as I was hoping but its better than nothing I guess.

This blows can't see what's in my account because my dam id and password stopped working now its locked and was prompted to call customer service and I've done so 3 times and nothing but elevator music while on hold for 20+ minutes and then my call is dropped. Luckily the automated system told me my balance for my account but this is truly unacceptable. If this isn't fixed soon I'll be closing my accounts. Now I give five stars the problem has been resolved, so all's good with the world now🤗

Not polished. update 2025 still bad stopped showing transactions as they occur accurately. the website show it correctly. how hard is it for a bank to get the most basic of fundamental features of your business functioning correctly. now the website doesn't properly show transactions. update yet another week of inaccurate transaction reporting. keep being told that the company that built the app is still reviewing the ticket provident bank opened with them. no confidence in this bank.

Lakeland recorded deposits sooner, and had instant balance option without entering password. An automatic payment was made 2 days ago, but did not show up as a withdrawal from the balance until today.

I'm pretty happy with the app. My main complaint used to be that, when you viewed your checking account, it didn't show the check numbers for the items that cleared. But they seem to have fixed that. 👍

very easy to make check deposits. app has everything I need to do banking online. the only thing I miss since their recent upgrade is the calculator

Every time I try to log in to the app, it tells me my login info is wrong, even tho it's not, and says I need a new username but it wont send the link for the username to my email. I have been trying to get it to work for 8 months and the bank says it's an app problem and the app says it's a bank problem. This app glitches every time I try and use it and it wont send any links to any email or number I use that's on my account. It sucks

Meh. It used to show transactions in real time. Now it's a guess, sometimes they show up days later. And transactions stay pending for way too long. Weekends are ridiculous too. It's computer controlled. You can't tell me the system can't add or subtract after hours.

FINALLY !! Provident Bank has an VERY GOOD app. Thanks !! ... (( WELCOME to the 21st CENTURY )) Its about time !! ... making the check deposit process more accurate & easier would be a welcome change. ALSO making the app clearer & easier to see/read/understand would be nice. AND more details in ea section of the app would be helpful.

Still having trouble logging in since the launch. Ive trouble shooted everything. The "new and improved" doesnt seem to fit. Fix this or at least have steps to guide you on how to login properly. I re-registered today. I dont know how long it takes to validate. No email conformation whatsoever. I just want to know my info with to covid-19 this isnt really helping the frustration of not getting to access my account

Not all bad, easy to navigate, bill pay is great, but depositing checks via the picture is frustrating. The app is finicky & mobile deposit doesn't always work immediately. Logging in w/a password is also painful. The upgrade now allows for biometrics so no need for the passcode. (honestly security is everything, so I can forgo the use of a passcode) basically I like using the app.

I had difficulty logging in using the app. No matter what I did it kept saying" the information we have on file for you is incomplete". After about 45 minutes on the phone a 2nd tech said try logging in through the website. I got in through the website and then investigated the security settings, and found that I did not have a phone number on file. It was the phone number that the app was missing because it was trying to send a security code, even though there was an email on file it ignored it
