it's a unique idea but that's where it stops. If you took a dating app and changed everything for no reason, that's this. Nothing is intuitive, they don't explain the changes of buttons. The pay models are awful and overpriced. Even when you pay the most basic features are not unlocked. You can heart someone and that doesn't stay if you see them again. Uploading photos frequently thought normal photos were fake, filtered or inappropriate despite being clean and quality photos. STAY AWAY
I didnt like the app at first, bit compared to others it is getting better. You are definitely going to need to spend some money to Chat or else you'll just be on a list that the women will never see. I still haven't met anyone but have some possibilities and a few good conversations. If the paid features were more reasonably priced, I would probably rate it higher and consider keeping it after the subscription is over. I have another 5 days, so hopefully someone will want to meet.
Scam. You can't view anyone without "posting an ad". You can't "post an ad" without paying. You click "Publish in Feed" , instantly brings up a membership/pay screen. They state all you need is a mutual like to chat, but that's impossible when you can't view any profiles without clicking on post an ad, then they ask for money. All lies. Just walk outside, you can find people easier than using these poorly designed apps that just want your money.
I had previously downloaded pure a while ago and i'm surprised to see how much it has changed. although one thing I don't like is I cant even publish an ad without having to pay there's absolutely NOTHING to do for free aside from creating an account which defeats the purpose of having a free app. and while I get it's to also help mitigate fake profiles it also causes those who are just curious about the app to get off it and wont be able to explore it fully.
You aren't able to really see the user interface until you have paid for a subscription, and it's not great. most profiles are essentially blank, and there were only a handful in downtown chicago. there is no way to dismiss or "swipe left" on a profile, and the UI is clogged up with numerous ways they are trying to get you to buy add-ons that aren't explained very well. stick to one of the mainstream apps, this one is definitely not worth the time, effort, or money.
Beware, you have to pay for a subscription to even "post an ad" which translates to being seen on the app. Then, if you want to do more than like someone and hope they like you back, you will have to pay for it. That's right, each chat costs more money. I might add a star if I get a chat going, and a second star if it's with a real person, and so on.
completely blindsided by the paywall. I expected to get a little functionality, at least, but I can't do anything. profile setup was fine, I guess, but it won't let me choose my location and it's built-in one is wack. then, the paywall. you can't start looking through other profiles without posting an "ad" on the feed. but guess what? you have to pay to do that. I'm surprised people actually pay for this, honestly
I tried it so you guys don't have to. After you create your profile, if you wanna do anything else after that? You have to pay, I paid $50 for access. For the entire year and guess what it doesn't even come with the ability to chat with people.🤨 you have to pay an additional $5 $20 $,50, or $80. To have access to limited chats remind you after I paid fifty dollars, all I could do is like people's pictures.I can't even message them, 🤣 i'm going to pursue a refund Asap!
Lack of tutorial for how the app works is pretty lame. It has multiple features that I was left to learn on my own. It sends random notifications that i dont understand but arent categorized in notifications so i cant turn them off. To be clear it is NOT a free app you'll have to pay to even like people and thats the bare minimum way of interacting. To actually connect with a woman you'll need to pay for gifts or direct messaging individually or in bundles.
Could be a good app. Could be terrible. Can't tell since the app is useless to me. It seems thoughtful at first but the entire app is behind a paywall. You can't even see possible matches without posting an "ad" and you can't publish an "ad" without paying. Costs are $13.50 for a week, $30 for a month and $50 for a year. Far too much to pay without even seeing what you're paying for.
everything is behind a paywall. Only get the app if you're willing to pay. Needing a subscription isnt bad but they dont offer a free trial, so there is no way of knowing if there even are people nearby that are of your interests etc and the subscription are pretty expensive. Good concept, terrible execution.
One of the better dating apps, but it can catch you out because most of the people on it are looking for one night stands, some only want to fantasise and talk about it. So far I have had zero success on this app but at least it doesn't operate like many and doesn't try to maximise the amount of money it can extract by charging for every message. It's not full of bots and fake profiles is another plus. Had some interesting conversations along the way. Honestly it's the best of it's kind
My thoughts changed for the above comment as the app has more purchases even after the subscription. Your concept is good but u act like every other app. Why pay more for chats or other things when you have a subscription. There are not many profiles and some profiles repeated today. I registered just 1-2 days back. The profiles available are 200+ miles. Very rare you may find anyone who is 10 miles. Mostly it starts with 40 miles plus.
A lot of users on dating and hookup focused apps don't seem particularly intentional. £30 for a year seems like very little to filter out time wasting, but it has the second order effect of fewer people on the app. I'm in a city where I'd expect to see a lot of people, yet it's so sparse. Within the first day, I got a lot of notifications that someone liked me, then I checked and the list was empty, or the person was on a different continent. I find it interesting but frustrating.
Very disappointing experience with the Pure app. I paid ₹1299 for a yearly subscription, but after joining I realized you still have to pay extra to chat with each person. The app doesn’t clearly explain this before payment. It feels like a money trap. A subscription should include basic chatting, not charge users again and again. Totally not worth the money.
Zero Functionality Free. Unlike other apps that allow you to at least use them free, and get extra features with a subscription. Pure doesn't let you do ANYTHING for free. You can create an account (AKA give them your data), and thats it. You can't look at anyone, browse the app, message anyone or match without paying $50+ for a subscription. Delete the app and your account.
extremely disappointed that everything behind a paywall. if the pricing were normal and cheap, it would not be a problem. for me, a reasonable subscription pricing should be at least 10 times cheaper, specifically for a subscription paid app that you literally can't do a thing unless you pay. It should clearly be labeled paywall app on the Store. I feel uncomfortable for sharing with you profile information and then discover I can't do a thing in the app unless I pay. feels misleading.
Pure is a good idea in theory. Sadly it doesn't hold up in reality. The whole concept of the app is build around these personal Ads which are basically posts. You have to make an own ad to see the other ads. and you have to buy messages. I've bought the subscription and about 20 messages to users. Still not a single person answered. I don't know if I did something wrong but for me it was a total no show. It's sad because I like the concept and style.
Though the way the app is designed is cool, it is meant to loot men. You pay a subscription, and it takes forever to get connected on roll the dice. And when you finally get connected, the call disconnects in the middle of nowhere. Never pay for instant chats or any other paid feature, you keep paying and gets nothing in return. Not all languages are available.
You can't do anything but make a (invisible) profile without paying. "Paid subscriptions are needed to keep a safe environment" no bb, good moderation is needed for that, just say you are greedy and move on 💖 You don't even know what you're paying for as you are not allowed to see other profiles or test the functions first. And even after the mandatory subscription to even test the app, it is still filled to the brim with paid features. Wouldn't recommend at all 💖💖
