Purolator

The new app is totally useless. I want to be able to track my parcel, not chat with an AI. Before, you could save and keep track of your parcels being delivered. Now, you have to 'chat' with an AI bot, one tracking number at a time, unable to save them for tracking. I don't want to be redirected to a website to track my package. The app is there for that. Not recommending Purolator if they're wasting money on useless AI

The new version is terrible. I don't want to deal with a chat box. You can't save multiple items anymore, and you can't see where ur parcel is. I will be uninstalling this app. I have installed an app called AfterShip, and it's pretty close to what the previous version of the Purolator app used to be. Plus you can save tracking numbers from various carriers. Sorry Purolator, but your new version is terrible and you ruined it.

If I could give less than one star, I would. The updates to this app have destroyed it. I don't want a chatbot to start a conversation with me when I put in a tracking number. I just want to put in a number and be able to see the same status updates as are on the website. Also, the new version doesn't even remember the tracking number entered, so you have to find it and input it over and over again. Absolute trash.

Over a month later and tracking in the app is still useless, provided by an AI bot, does not store numbers. Tracking info provided by conversation with AI. Doesn't keep your tracking number so you have to enter it every time. Would prefer to enter the number and it stay there where it's easily seen, removed when I do so. When you have multiple shipments coming, you can't see the status of each one without telling AI the tracking number every....single....time. Not good for time management.

As everyone else has stated. tracking is only within the chatbot no way to save or follow your incoming shipments. literally forcing you to manually enter the tracking number every time you want to see the current status of a shipment. that's the only thing I ever used the app for so it's serves no purpose to me at all anymore and will be uninstalled

This app used to work. It was accurate and I relied on it. Now? Completely useless. The app says the tracking number doesn't exist, even though I copied it from the Purolator website tracking page. Tracking is the only thing a lot of people use this app for, and it doesn't even do that. And don't get me started on having to deal with a chatbot on the website to arrange an alternate delivery location instead of the previous box checking. I'll save that complaint for the website feedback.

Waste of time app, should be zero stars. There is no actual tracking in the app anymore. When you enter a tracking number, the chat bot opens so you can sign up for tracking notifications. The options are for delivery, exceptions or both. There is no status update contained in the app, so you don't see your shipment's current place in the Purolator system, such as out for delivery. The app is beyond useless. Use the website instead, until Purolator "fixes" that too.

The simple tracking system that used to exist has been replaced by a needy chat bot. Prime example of AI making things less convenient instead of better. Previously you could just scan the shipping barcode and get all the information you needed, and the app saved all your tracked packages. Super convenient. Now you have to type your tracking number and a chat bot will ask you to double confirm all the information it already has instead of just showing shipment progress. I will be uninstalling

after an update I lost all the trackings I was following and also lost the feature to scan a barcode that I was using to confirm the print was clear enough to be scanned that was needed for the last 2 months when Puro's label have changed and hard to print clearly. I wish I could go back to the old version. It no longer reliable. I will uninstall.

So, the app isn't bad. The only thing I don't like is that the updates go from picked up straight to delivered. It'd be nice if I could keep track on where my package is between those steps, like the Canada Post app does. It shows a descriptive tracking offer, but when I put the destination postal code in nothing happens. Edit: it seems they have fixed the issues, app works well now. had to take a few tries to get it installed, but it's nice not having to use my browser

The app is broken, trying to track a package results in "Tracking is in maintenance". Tracking has been broken for over a month! December 26/2025 update. I just tried the app again to track a package, I'm forced to use the chatbot to track my package and it's trying to direct me to customer service. This is more than useless.

This new version (v4.2.4, Nov.28) is absolute garbage. The chatbot was annoying originally, even when I just wanted to sign up for notifications. but now, converting 100% to the chatbot for EVERYTHING is moving in ENTIRELY THE WRONG DIRECTION. I should be able to add tracking #s ONCE and then see all my tracked items at a glance, not ask the bot every single time for every single item. BAD MOVE PUROLATOR... VERY POOR DESIGN.

Holy hell did they make this app useless... You know how you'd just input you're tracking numbers and check on them periodically? Well that's gone! Replaced with an AI chatbot that requires you to add the number each time and gives you a quarter of the information you can get anywhere else. Deleting.

preferably like the old app better as you could put in the tracking number and see exactly where package is, using the assistant for this part i dont like, yes it gives a ruff date when it will be delivered but being able to see in more detail was much better, the assistant is good but not for tracking please go back to the old version for that part so we can have it on the home page like before. i could just click on the tracking number or rename it and there it all was

You cannot track your packages anymore. When you enter a number, you are redirected to a chat bot. Good luck if you have multiple packages... Terrible decision, most likely done by an AI enthusiast that have no idea when to use it properly. Will be deleting the app because it's useless and I'll avoid using Purolator in the future.

would give no stars if I could. honestly the biggest mistake purolator made was updating the garbage app... no one wants a chat jot who doesn't work and can't give the proper information to its customers looking for simple tracking info ie last scan... last location... delivery standard... and any other issues that used to be displayed. Purolator was better than canada post... obviously there taking the playbool from.them and tanking another company!

took away tracking.. now when you track you get a stupid virtual assistant telling you the last scan and you can't just see all your updates or, specifically, how many days something in their system has been sitting idol at a distribution center. this virtual assistant tracking is just bad. I want to add my tracking and get app updates of movement like before. not constant spam emails.

Just use the website. trying to track a package, and instead of showing me tracking, it just opens up a useless chatbot. I don't need customer support, I just want to track a package. the bare minimum for an app like this, and its failing. enshitification at full display here.

There is no easy way to log into your Purolator account. You have to have your tracking number available each time you open this app. It would be nice to simply login and have your tracking numbers saved and update. That seems basic, am I missing something?

When I enter tracking number it takes me to chat bot. It doesn't keep track or history of your tracking numbers in the app anymore. It doesn't give you visual tracking or status anymore. I dont want chat bot. I prefer the old method.
