I used to be able to search through my transactions, but now, whenever I try, the app closes as soon as I type the first letter or number. It's very frustrating when I'm trying to connect unrecognized receipts to their transactions. I first noticed this problem around October 2024, and waited for a patch/update to fix it, but it never came. Please fix/advise. Thank you!

Imagine how excited I was when I went to QBSE on my desktop to work on my taxes to discover that, regardless of the notifications I received every time I started driving, the app hasn't tracked a single trip since June of last year. My client list is consistent so I have rules created so I don't have to frequently categorize trips. Now I get to reinvent the wheel for half of the year for an app that is not inexpensive and I use over others because of the trip tracking feature. Waste of money.

Mileage track acct sync & Google integrations never work! But my autopay function works fine for them to charge me monthly. At first, it tracked miles in Both of my vehicles, then without notice, it stopped in one, then all together. I had to go to google maps and hand copy all of my location timeline from maps to the QB online acct bc it won't allow in app. Google and Intuit are the same company, these integrations should be seamless. Their online directions on how to do this don't work.

The past two years this app has continuously had mileage tracking problems. They only respond to you if you write a bad review. I've sent a number of emails over the years with no response. My mileage tracking has been down since early August this time and despite following all of the apps recommended fixes, it has yet to track and it claims that everything is on and good to go. Currently looking into better apps.

I've used this app for well over a year. Up until recently it's worked great. However lately it hasn't been keeping track of my miles even with the manual tracking. My only saving grace is using Google timeline at a backup. Also the "Help" button has been "malfunctioning". If you're using it just a categorize expenses and send invoices, is great. If you're needing it to track miles - use another app or keep your Google timeline as a backup

When I first started using QBSE it was pretty smooth. No issues really then I decided to just get it annually. I absolutely can't stand it now. I can never upload receipts and tracking mileage has been an absolute nightmare. Apparently QB knows the receipt thing is an issue 🙄. Don't get me started on how it screw up my taxes this past year. As soon as I find a service that does what I want or at least allows me to upload receipts (can't do it online either), I'm switching to that.

I like this app, but I'm giving it 3 stars to get their attention, because I just switched back to Android (from iPhone) and I COULD NOT FIND the app when doing a search on the store (really bad idea for branding to change the name to an acronym.) I will say I prefer the Android version of the app (over the iPhone version) because it lets you select multiple entries at one time. Doing this really speeds things up when preparing for taxes, which are SUPER easy to do if you use this app all year!

Tracks basic transactions for self employed. However, it's missing some obvious reports and what's worse I get a 400 client error after I approve my Amex bank connection. Even more worse, the help option gives an error immediately, and when I go to the support website I can't find a related topic and I can't find a way to create a new post. What a mess. Previously, trip reporting was broken for months but they finally fixed that. Not a great experience in December, though.

Just lost 4 months of driving data because the app wouldn't go past showing a blank white screen. I'd recommend switching to mileIQ or really anything else to track miles. Response to "support" below. I did all of this before, was on the phone for like an hour and it happened again, but this time I lost 4 months of driving data. This will cost me hours of work to try to log. I now use mileIQ and it works without any errors. I'm considering switching to a different invoicing service as well.

I'm also having trouble with the mileage tracking and followed the steps suggested on previous reviews. The only thing I haven't tried is turning off my wifi while driving and honestly, if that's the fix, I'll find another app. If I have to remember to turn off my wifi every time I drive, I might as well manually track my mileage. Defeats the purpose of having automatic tracking. I didn't have this issue with it last year so I'm not sure what's changed. The rest of the app is great, however.

This app is painful to use and gets worse each year regardless of device. Does every other app upload a photo from your device quickly? Don't expect this one to. The green circle of annoying frustration is now your constant companion. Bonus that the image may then fail to upload entiry, but don't worry, it'll pop a failure notice for half a second. I hope you don't miss this and then miss deductions as a result. It sucks in a 100 other ways, but unfortunately I am limited to 500 characters.

I've been using the app for years. Maybe too long. It now constantly responds with "App Self Employed Not responding" I tell it to wait and it's still usable. But I have to click constantly. Is there a way to set the response time longer? Otherwise, it's a great app. I use PC app when I have a lot to categorize, but the mileage tracking makes the app critical.

This app is garbage is garbage, as is quick books small business itself. Always nothing but problems. Been using it for over six and a half years, and now with this latest update where it says "we have a new way to connect to your bank", it no longer connects to bank bank at all...gives a "400" error every time. Whats the point of having it if it doesn't link to my bank to track transactions. Uninstalling it and reinstalled it doesn't do a damn thing to correct nor does the help tab work.

I have been using this app since the beginning of the year. It's useful in tracking my mileage most. As of 10/10/24 it is no longer tracking my mileage. All of the options for auto tracking are selected as they should be, but none of my trips in the last two days have been tracked. I sent an error report through the app earlier today and there has been no reply as of yet. The mileage tracking is the only reason I have this app. Without that it's of no use to me. Can you please resolve the issue?

Mileage hasn't been working. Customer service hasn't responded to email. Tried all the troubleshooting ways. Then the person who responded to my negative review asked me to jump through troubleshooting again. After another failed try to fix this, I found a sales number which transferred me to tech help only to find out it's an Android issue. Very poor service and experience. If I wasn't stuck in the middle of a tax year I'd cancel. Try finding a better app before you get stuck with the $300 a/yr

It looks like other people are having the mileage tracking when I started to experience it. this must be something to do with the recent update you guys made. please make the software update asap. I have been using this for over 5 years and I never had the problem with tracking mileage. but now mileage tracking is not working anymore. it stopped working since October 7th I have all the permissions (and all green checked) on the mileage setting page but still no luck. using Pixel 6 pro here.

The app was doing fine for a long time. A recent update came and now my account list in app and on website not in sync. Camera goes on fritz when taking pictures of receipts. It went from great to terrible. Update 8/2024. For some reason, the receipts I scan on the mobile app scan as 2 transactions. It's annoying to sit there and have to delete the extra receipt scans.

I have had a terrible experience using this and with QuickBooks customer support. After I realized that my subscription was canceled because I hadn't updated our payment, I updated it through the Google Play app store but I am still not able to use the app! It says that I need to start a new subscription which is more expensive than my original one even though they are offering a 3 month discount. I have tried contacting customer misled by 2 representatives and it's still not fixed! Very upset

Doesn't track mileage accurately. Routinely loses trips, and shorts miles. Also will not end trips cleanly, and will list a 2 mile 8 minutes drive combined with the return trip an hour and a half later. Great for expenses, unless they include lots of driving. Follow up with customer support has been horrendous. After a month I get an email saying my issue is fixed, it's not the issue I reported! Corporate greed drives catastrophic incompetence. Ticket closed, can't respond.

The app just doesn't work consistently. I have used it for years with issues but now it flat out won't track mileage since Oct 10. It's out my phone, yes I read your article, yes it worked mostly for years and the just stopped. Customer service admitted it was broken and there is no fix so they discounted app for 3 months. Almost unreal, the new app has less features and we are being forced to migrate to it so like others, I'm looking for a replacement. So frustrating.
