I love this app! Makes it incredibly easy to make a memory book for your child. update 2026: they changed this app about a year ago, how you order books, and the layout. IMO they ruined a great thing. It's more difficult to make a general book like you used to be able to and they have made it much more complicated when the best part of this app was the ease of it. I cancelled my subscription after 5 years.
Really like how easy it is to organize my memories and the questions help to prompt me and give me a reminder each evening to jot something down if I would like. It's very easy to order a book and they are beautiful! It's nice to be able to have an easy place to keep memories of my children as they grow and it's so easy to add a quick memory when it's fresh on my mind!
I absolutely love this app and can't wait til I have my book made with all of the memories and photos. recently, though, I have had issues with not being able to upload my photos even though the app has permissions to access my gallery, and the website has been taking so long to load that it times out. giving me an error code. currently, I am using the app without a subscription, which means I need to add my photos promptly, which could mean halloween pics won't make it this year til I can pay
This is a great service for sending in pics in real time, rather than waiting to try to put years of photos together. The books autofill date and child's age, and put everything in chronological order. I haven't had much success with their specialty books, but Qeepsake is a lifesaver for organizing our daily memories.
I used to love this app. However for some reason on my Android it's not allowing me to add pictures from my phone. I click to add photos and nothing happens for single or multiple entries. It used to work great. I have to go to only one photo and then share it to the app to get it to work. It feels more manual since I'm adding for 2 journals for my kids.
It used to work great but today I found out that the last few months, when I tried to text photos to it they never showed up! And there are no updates available. Now I have to add photos manually in the app which is extremely slow. Also, when scrolling through entries, it jumps. ALSO I wish it was easy to select which pages to include in a book, not just everything between date ranges. Basically, this app was supposed to be great and it is not worth "qeeping".
Used to be good many years ago. It used to be free to have a question every day, even through text or Facebook. Over the years it's gotten more greedy. You have to have a paid plan to do most things, and the questions have become odd. You'd be better off writing your own notes or looking for a different app, if it exists. Also if you want to buy a book, they are also greedy and make you put like one to two prompts per page, so you have to spend more for each page. I wish I could modify the book
I'm loving Qeepsake so far. My son is four months old and I've been able to document so many things. I will say that I'm not impressed with the solid white books that we order though. You would think they would have some options to make it a little more colorful, even if that costs more. Also, I've had some trouble with my posts on FB not all showing up in my Qeepsake journal. I contacted customer support and they were very helpful, but apparently if it's in an album it might not show up.
So far great! Love the prompts. I wish you could add more than one picture though the text message responses, though-- you can only build a 'collage' in the app. I also wish I could access ALL my pictures, right now I can only use pictures saved through the 'camera' folder, but most of my pictures are on Google photos.
Better than it used to be. They resolved the issue in which I was being sent the same question prompt every time. The app is glitchy when scrolling through the journal - it jumps from entry to entry. No easy way to scroll journal rapidly and the search function isn't great. Sometimes won't load the photo when in the editor. I really wish it had a better interface for multiple kids. I won't purchase a book til there are more colorful/custom options.
This is a great way to easily record all those special, and everyday moments with your kids. The app is easy to use. I can add photos, edit misspellings, manage journals for multiple children. I also love getting texted new questions everyday. I've been using it for about four years and I love to look back at old entries. I've printed books and my family loves to look at them too. It's amazing how spending a few minutes a day or week can add up to a special collection over time.
Working as expected, I get two questions per day. I have four kids so one day is two questions about two of my kids and the next day will cover the other two kids. I love being able to text photos in. I really do keep note of things better this way. Today I was asked if one kid likes to collect anything....I wouldn't have thought to write that down, I love it. I am so far unimpressed with the photo books themselves especially for the $$. There are basically two columns on each page. 🙄😒
Exceptional! I was daunted to even attempt making a baby book for my 3rd baby. It's so much work trying to keep up with all the fill in the blanks, and finding the right photo to fit into pre-decided pages. With Queepsake, you can put in as little or as much effort as you want, and the book will just come together and look beautiful regardless! I love that it texts me once a day with a question about baby so that those small cute details can be documented to remember. Wish I knew sooner!
So far, so good! With 6 children I always fall behind on baby books. When I saw this app I instantly signed up, before the trial period was even over! The idea of all the work done for the parents is absolutely genius! The only thing you have to do is answer quick questions about your child/ren (and who doesn't love talking about their children!?) and adding adorable photos! I can't wait to order the books and I'll try to remember to update after I do that! The app is also easy to use!
This app is a genius invention! I am thrilled to have read a blog and came across it. My baby is 5 months old, and for the past five months I have been meaning to get a baby book but have not been able to. I kept thinking I would remember all the important mile stones but sleep deprivation is a killer on memories, even the important ones. This app literally makes a book for you for such an inexpensive cost, it's kind of insane! Plus it'll have way more pictures and be more detailed when it's all said and done with. I'm so happy with my purchase! THANK YOU!
I have used this app for over 1.5 years. The last 1 or 2 months it has started freezing while typing. It then goes super slow. I have to force close and then reopen and try typing where I left off. So I haven't been using it that often. Up until then, I have made 2 books full of great memories. This would have been a 5 star review if it still worked like before.
i am enjoying the ease of using the app and getting the texts everyday. it helps to remind me to journal about my baby's life. i wish that you could post multiple photos per entry, post photos between entries, and that when you were ready for ordering a book that you could design the book like a scrap book with different designs, frames, stickers, colors, and headings.
Amazing! I have nothing but good things to say about Qeepsake. The app is easy to navigate and is continually being improved with new features. The questions are great and can be answered anytime. I absolutely love being able to add pictures right from my phone. The BEST part for me is the book. As a working mom with 2 littles, I don't have time to print pictures and organize them into an album or scrapbook. Qeepsake formats and prints everything in a beautiful book for you! Love love love.
I love this app! I really do! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the book you can order. First: the books are insanely expensive. Second: they only hold up to 300 pages, which is a good size book until you consider- Third: they only put 1 journal entry per page and- Fourth: you can't redesign the book yourself to put more then one entry per page. By that math, if you only added 1 journal entry per day, you still couldn't get the whole first year in one book. And that book would cost $300+.
This is a cool concept and I do like it. But this feels like a beta version. It glitches regularly. I've had to reinstall once already in the month I've had it. I pay for the 2 prompts per day but sometimes I don't like the questions. While possible to skip one, you aren't able to get a different one in its place. Why not??? The questions clearly aren't tailored to the age of the child, many make no sense for my newborn. Keep getting similar prompts that are almost dupes to already answered ones
