There is an annoying feature/bug that will constantly require permission to use current location. However if it is turned off, the dialog box just consistently jumps out and you won't even have a chance to fix it unless you go to settings and force it to stop. Jesus, if I don't want to give you such permission, could you just shut the f*** up? You can simply tell me that I won't be about to use that feature and let it go without constantly asking me to change the setting, I don't want to!

A LOT of problems. There are WAY LOTS of features that i can't access even if i reinstalled it, thought it would be fixed or get at least better, but it gone worst. First of all, I can't receive my notifications when someone sent me a message. Second, I can't change my profile picture?? Third, I can't check on people's bio EVEN MINE. Fix it, this is so stupid.

Don't bother registering. The new update will give you a QR code that needs to be scanned by two verified QQ users that need to have the account longer than 1yr, card bound to the account, account never been frozen or involved in illegal activity, basically someone from CHINA. Don't even bother asking on any platform as you would be marked as scam, tried on reddit and got asked by multiple users "why?", "never scan something you don't know what it's for", "nice try scammer" 😒

Cannot log in anymore, lost the account along with my money in there. New settings require you to scan QR code of already log in account for verification. Problem is you only log in with your phone before, and the same phone you are using is being logged out telling you to scan logged in device. It makes no sense. Many others is having the same problem and they have to go through long customer service call that may or maynot help them recover their account.

Something is really wrong and I don't know why. I have encountered the same problems like people below. How come suddenly I don't receive any notifications? My data and internet connection are very strong. I have deleted and re-download it for 3 times. This is absolutely a BUG. Please solve this problem, I don't really like to keep download, delete, and re-download again.

Not sure why they deleted qq international, it was so much better. This version I have to constantly translate text, so I can understand it. Also, I don't get notifications for when someone messages me? The user interface is incredibly complex and impossible to navigate. And trying to log in? Forget about it- took me a month last time.

Its a good social app. If your trying to register outside of china i'd suggest googling QQ register and do it that way, but then log into the app with your details. I like how i can easily switch between account. Its a pain to change profile pictures, may have it wrong but i think u have to log in for a total of 30 day to be able to change profile photos which is a little annoying. Other than that its great.

I have qq account, i created it long time ago in around 2016 but never used it even once. Now i get the chance to use it. I can't sign in. And seems like somebody steal my account and use it for prostitution page related. Because when i tried to verify, it asked me to choose the group that the account in, the choices are global welfare group something like that.

I try to register an account. The QQ website tells me "Your mobile phone number is a security risk". I try again, but this time on the mobile app. The app tells me my app version is too outdated, and therefore doesn't allow me to further registration... Irony is that they don't offer the most updated version of the app on the NA store. They know what they are doing to intentionally keep international users out. If it wasn't obvious already from the nearly 1 star rating. Very dissipointing

It sucks. I installed it and tried to log on, and it told me to upgrade. I just installed a second ago, how can it not be the newest version? Also you have to let it manage your phone calls otherwise wouldn't be able to use the app at all. Claims to be safety reasons. Complete nonsense!

This app asks for too many unnecessary permissions and it will not start without them. This app can't even manage their own storage! It chunks in 17G on my phone in the data storage and there's no way you can manage that data from within the app. And now that Android limits user access to app data it's even harder to free that huge amount of storage space. I want to rate it 0.

The new version of QQ sucks. You placed the downloaded files in Android/data/media, which could not be read by applications other than QQ including media storage thus I can NOT FIND MY DOWNLOADED FILES. It's really frustrating and inconveniet. It really hampers me when I need to connect to my computer printing documents. You should use standard files in the storage directory like /Download/QQ or /Picture/QQ.

Waste of time. Literally I have tried to create an account since the game pubg came out. I have reached out to support multiple times, never a word from them. I tried web site and the app to register. "server busy, try again later" is all you get. Trying over and over for a good while and it's always the same. I used VPN China proxys, everything possible to create an account and it's just not happening. Worst is the support as they won't even respond. Don't waste your time and data

High storage usage In the settings, it says this app has filled at least 8g storage in my phone. But in QQ, it says it only costs 2g of storage usage. The data is even not match with each other. Also, after I turned on do not disturb and disabled notifications, sometimes the QQ notifications are still popping up, wth man! It can change my system settings? Also, I cannot make comments when watching videos in QQ Space.

One of the worst social app I've ever seen. I've tried it cuz my friends in China are using this app and they can't access international apps like fb and WhatsApp. And, this app have nearly 0 support in English. You MUST register for a new account with a mobile number (no email and alternatives) and it is nearly impossible to register with a non-Chinese mobile number. The real-person verification and CAPTCHA also sucks. You nearly need to input ALL of your private information to use this app.

It makes it really difficult to log in, with all those redundant "security protocols". It says my password is incorrect, or I should update the app or phone to newest version, which I already did. But still, can't. Obviously they're only focusing China users, not users from other countries. Maybe because they are taught to think like this since young :).

Please add english support 🙏 I have friends in China I like to speak with, but trying to navigate this app without translation tools is difficult, and auto translate for messages does not exist unless you are translating to Chinese! As a messaging app that is supposed to connect people together, this is very sad, ease of use should be available for both Non-Chinese users and Chinese users alike.

Every time I touches my phone on a credit card or my university card, this little piece of software will jump in and attempts to read it as a transit card. And since I've disabled location access for it, it will continually make annoying sound between location access prompt and card read failure prompt. Very annoying. Can't be disabled. Who wants to read a transit card with a messenger?

I've been using QQ for more than 10 years and kept in touch with my old friends. Recently it was forced to be updated to the new version. I cannot login without link it to my phone number which I don't remember. It has been more than 10 years. Too bad. Why cannot I login by username and password as usual? Actually I can login, but cannot send or receive any messages. I hope the next rev would fix the bug.

My account been frozen after refreshing the message. My friends scan QR code to help unlock account, but they said can't press 'confirm', no responding. Then, I want report my problem to Tencent Customer Service via the Wechat, but it request China mainland phone number before submit. I'm overseas user, I don't have it. My problem didn't solve until now. I don't know what can I do. 😔
