QR Code Reader Barcode Scanner

Sends ridiculous notifications talking about about how great the new version is when the old version did not even work. I just recieved 3 notifications in a row about it. There are so many other qr scanner apps out there. Save yourself and try one of those. Oh and my favorite is there notifications start out with "Hello Friend" am I still a "Friend?" I sure hope not.

Full screen Door Dash ad pops up every 15 seconds. You have the options to CLOSE or INSTALL from Google Play Store. After selecting CLOSE, the full page ad closes, then pops up as a half page ad. I click the X to "minimize" that ad then 5 seconds later, the full page ad pops up again. App itself might receive more stars but, not during this ad campaign. Spending more time closing ads, than scanning.

"Hello friend, do you want to see a 1 star review? Enjoy now your 1 star for FREE!" This kind of ads I get in the middle of the night. I'm okay with ads in the app and everytime I scan a vode. But they not only send ads via notifications, not only 3 at a time but even when you disable them they change the category of the notification so you will get them even if you disable them.

Wants you to rate service before that you have had ample opportunity to use it so that you can give a rating of EXACTLY how well that it works or doesn't work. Actually the only time that I MIGHT have been allowed to make an opinion of how this works while attempting to use it after I scanned the bar code this is what happened. What happened was it took almost 2 hours for the audio assistant to assist in using this application to set my security camera! This was way too long to do this!!!

Tons of popups, very annoying. Then theyd say well, you can turn them off.Then there id say well how do you do that, then you'd say well, you have to do this this, and this, then I'd say well I did that.Then you'd say, well did you do this.Get my point? Its an app. I don't need to be reminded how wonderful it is 5 times a day! The quality should speak for it self. The pop ups waste EVERYONES time. Don't bother saying, we're sorry you feel this way our developers are working on bla bla bla...🤪

You've got to love seeing an ad everytime you do something on this app. Booting up the app? here is an ad, looking at settings? We think you'll like this ad, you get 10 pop up ads in the space of a few minutes. Come on now, I get the money grasp but that was ridiculous.

I am very annoyed that I have to cancel a subscription I had no intention of purchasing. It is told after the download without offering the client the information about the auto subscribe first. What a crappy tactic! Then I can't find a phone number to cancel easily. I have to now hunt for the number to protect myself from being charged without my consent.

I couldn't scan because an ad for a qr scanner program would pop up in front of the image of the Q,R code I was trying to scan. then, a window asking me if I would allow the QR scanner app access to my contacts. I said no. it was pointless to try and scan anything because they really wanted my contact list. I am going to try and delete/uninstall the app.

Took forever to scan the code, then it just showed the link. You couldn't click the link, and it didn't take you to the site. It just keeps sending adds, and asking me to install quick books. It also denies access if you don't allow it access to your contacts.

This apps says its free, but its not. After 2 days it posts a notice in your updates in Google play that you must unsubribe in 1 week or pay $4.99 a week. Then you look for a place to unsubscribe and cancell. Which there are none. I'm here to tell you this is your notice to cancell this subscription within that time (today) first 2 days, & I'm deleting this app from My phone.

You send me five pop-up ads a day. I will delete your service and tell my friends to never download it. You kept sending me five or six of these pop-up notices every day. I waited for them to stop but you can tell you to send them over and over again. You need to fix your system and not send people stuff all the time. Oh and by the way you're a barcode app, not Snapchat so change your logo

Annoying notifications! I tried to figure out a way to shut off the pop up notifications but wasn't able too. I decided to get rid of the app because I didnt think it was any of their business to tell me to stay home and stay safe! Tired of the propaganda, especially when it comes through random apps.

Ads when you switch on , video ads when you scan and it almost becomes usable you don't know if you are seeing an advert or app and constant messages to upgrade to get rid of said ads. I searched google for free scanner it's a lie they are full of pointless adverts even for other QR scanners🥴. What happened to the days of freeware downloads online. I know companies have to make money but these QR scanners are awful and we have to them during pandemic to track and trace or write out forms.

Please do not download this app. This app sends email and messages two or three times a day. Not to mention the app keeps asking for permission to many other things on your phone like full list of contacts. I used it once but had it for weeks. I do not recommend it. Matter of fact I highly recommend you do not use it. It would not let you post your rating without choosing at least one star. DEVELOPERS- what the heck folks?

I used a preloaded scanner to read a pairing QR image and got another different scanner! Complete with adverts. This is a rubbish service. Ads should be kept out of app downloads, but you lot belong to the "never miss an opportunity school", No matter about inconvenience to the consumer. .

ENTIRELY USELESS The level of advert intrusion renders this app inoperable. I tried many times, but the constant interruption and invasive marketing prevented me from proceeding. Each attempt necessitated having to close the incessant pop-ups and diversions to websites which, through these aggressive sales strategies, guarantee that they shall never receive my custom. Irritating in the extreme. Uninstalled.

I'm not sure how well this thing works. Problem is, after installing I was inundated with ads!. I kept saying no and when I went to scan another ad would pop up. Maybe the reader is good but the ads are overwhelming. Give it a rest.

App takes to long to open and use resulting in app timing out before it can be used. When app works the results range from working ok to receiving inaccurate results. Example tried 3 times to use app at restaurant for the menu and each time the app timed out before any results.

Not free... My debit card was charged twice back to back today for some app that don't work and was supposed to be free.. I didn't even agree to any trial and yet my card was charged simply because it's attached to my play store.. I've tried to cancel it but no luck yet. Never even used it.

The app works well, but I don't like having notifications to use the app twice a day several times a week. I know I have the app and it works, I don't need reminders as invitations to use the app. Uninstalled out of annoyance
