QR Code Reader

I needed a simple QRCode reader, and I was REALLY surprised that this has NO ADS, is super simple to use, and even scanned a code on my PC's web page from almost 3' away!

So far it's Super Fast, reads from any angle, from a variety of sources and a multitude of sizes... it's great when you're running at hyper speed work mode no time to pause for a "wait- wait- still waiting" scan. Haven't tried on the non block shaped QR's yet, so looking forward to putting it to the test. And true... No ads :)

No ads is why I tried it, but I'm KEEPING it because it read the first code I tried before I had even finished properly aiming the camera, in less time than I can measure unaided! It also has a handy history feature and a few options for configuring its behavior like turning off the beep or auto-opening URLs.

reads QR codes fine, over eager and inconsistent on barcodes. Claims it's read a 3of9 barcode when out of focus, with repeated attempts to read the same barcode has returned a 3 digit number and a number of different 7 digit numbers or numbers and letters. All from the same 3of9 barcode. good for QR, not trustworthy on barcodes.

Nice. Option to beep when it reads a code. Option to automatically open. Cannot export history. Did not experience full page popup ads. Ads only on bottom. Due to the size of my phone screen, the ads on the bottom covered up the last item on the Settings menu.

I love this app! My 9 years old needed a QR code Reader for her work. I tried 6 others before getting to this one. They were all either needlessly complicated, full of ads that blocked your screen, or had ads that led you to believe you were clicking on your link but it was the ad. They this one truly has no ads and very simple to use. It actually takes you to the website rather than opening it in a tiny screen in the app. It is exactly what we needed and I will be recommending it to others.

Works fast without ads. A good app worth having. Ads in this type of app are really annoying and sometimes affects the scan as the ads pop up and scan won't work. This app being free is even better, no cost, no ads.

Was a good ad free app. That was literally the only thing that made this code reader better than all the rest. I never should have updated it because now it's filled with ads. Now it's no different from the thousands of other code reader apps. Booo! Uninstalled.

Simple, honest and transparent app. Does what it should quickly and easily with no ads and even better it doesn't want, need or ask for permission to your contacts, emails etc. Great app. Big thumbs up to the developers! Thank you!!

Was very skeptical - unsure if app would stand up to reviews that were written but it has seem to do just that and truly NO ADS 😊. Yes please keep up the good work! Wish you the best. Fast scan, can enable the flash as a flashlight if needed to see a code better in the dark, can scan barcodes and qr codes. Tells you immediately what a qr code says even without internet. Edit: it used to not have ads. Now its infested.

I needed a QR code scanner software quickly to test a project and I chose this one because it was ad free. It does what is expected and is very simple to use. Only drawback I found was that it is slow to shut down.

It is a great tool to have when you are searching for that cheaper price on any item. The app works great. I tested it on several QR codes and had no issue. Another great perk there is no ads.

Never used QR scanner until today. This is quick and easy. Automatically copies scan code to clipboard where you can paste it where you need it. Great for new McDonalds token piece game. Kudos to the authors. Thank you!

Pros: 1 No ads. 2 No shady permissions. Only camera. 3 Easy to use. 4 Small size/footprint. 5 Passed the antivirus check (McAfee). 6 Does not save pictures, but keeps them in the clipboard. 7 Let's YOU decide what action the device must take Cons: None The developer just earned over 9000 kudos points from here!

Great quick app that works as a functional scanner. Its fast, efficient, and has no "extra bits". Its plain and simple, with no ads getting in the way

Simple to use, accurate barcode and QR recognition, and the ability to capture results to clipboard and/share makes it an indispensible phone tool. No ads, too.

The app works nicely, but I decided to uninstall it. The reason is Facebook and Google trackers. Thank goodness I am able to block the trackers, but I am unhappy that those analytics are spying into what essentially is none of their business.

*update: ads have come. downgraded to 4 stars No ads, good performance. I'm a skeptical dude though so I'm waiting for the update that breaks the app by introducing nagging ads. Meanwhile enjoy while it lasts!
