QBO started off pretty great. Was very user friendly. Being able to run a P&L by tags is very helpful for trying to track multiple projects. But the amount of ads that pop up when you are trying to work has made it almost impossible to work. Anytime I go to press something, an ad gets in the way. I would't mind if it just popped up every once in a while, but every time I go to log in, plus the banners at the top and at the center of the screen, is obsurd.

I have had quickbooks online for over a decade. I used to be able to run my whole business through this app on my phone. Now, it is utterly useless. I send estimates and invoices, and the totals are $0. I can only use the online version on my desktop now and even that is difficult. QB has become overly complicated with a vast array of features that I do not need. up until 5 years ago this app worked perfectly. I am looking into other options.

When the app works, it's great. However, getting it to work is absolutely infuriating. It crashes nonstop on both my phone and my tablet. I have uninstalled and reinstalled on both devices, cleared the cache multiple times, and closed and reopened the app ad nauseum to no avail. It will randomly work for 2 or 3 receipt scans, and then crash again. At this point, I am only using the app because my accountant uses QB. That being said, it's not worth $100/month. I'm looking for something else.

works for some things, sometimes. Quickbooks checking is the shoddiest banking I've ever used however. Check deposit only works occasionally, leaving me with no way to deposit checks for customers. Edit: of course I've tried reinstalling. this has been a recurring issue for multiple years. ive spent hours on the phone with support of different tiers, all of whos advice literally went back to your bs reply to reinstall. I found a workaround in the past, but it no longer works at all. Im done.

Good Lord, trying to get something done on the mobile app will make you want to bang your head into the wall. It always starts out super smooth and then you get into a couple of different transactions and it will just freeze or the little dreaded warning will come up saying that the app isn't responding and you have to close it. I restarted my phone, I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it multiple times and it is just awful. we're going to have to look for something else.

Mobile App Log In / Cost of rate increased / A Joke customer service (1) a while back I was unable to log into my app anymore, which is the whole reason why I choose this app to begin with, apparently it happened after an update. as you can see in most of the reviews. (2) all a sudden the monthly rates went up! from what I was paying for. (3)customer service was on hold for 2-3hrs sending me back & forth. Having me calling other departments. Waited a few weeks now, still not resolved.

please please please make quick actions available without needing to log in. expenses, mileage, etc. The app is glitchy, sometimes doesn't allow you to log in, uninstall and redownload it a couple times to try to fix issues. things are much more streamlined when I just used Google sheets, for free. tech companies miss the ball with convenience, and make the mistake of thinking more features are better. less clicks, more time savings.

The app used to not start right away and would need to be forced closed multiple times to get it working. That issue has gone away but now I am unable to deposit checks into QuickBooks checking account. Customer support said there is nothing they can do and check back in a couple weeks... Terrible.

I only try to use this once in a while to do tasks on the go, like get a quick number from a report or snap a receipt of a deposit at the bank. But the app can never do simple tasks like this. Reports are hard to navigate and filter. I can only do a receipt snap for expenditures not deposits. I can't even attach a receipt to a deposit I created manually. Overall, the app UI/UX is slow and there hasn't been any noticeable enhancements for what feels like 8 years, when I first tried QBO.

The app works good when it loads but sometimes it can take 30 to 40 minutes to load in even with good signal or Wi-Fi. I'm not sure how to respond to your message so I will just add it here I tried logging back in this morning to do what you suggested but it won't go past the loading screen waited nearly 20 minutes I'll try again later.

Trust all the other ones that are reviews. absolutely garbage. customer service six times transferred within a 1 hour just to try to solve the problem of my online subscription price increasing from what I originally signed up for. Customer service was terrible. not only did they transfer me over and over. I couldn't even understand anything anybody was saying. on top of all that I was using the app for auto tracking and auto tracking kept turning off even with all battery optimization off.

Ok. I started at 4 stars but after the last update it's down to one. Stop fixing something that isn't broken. Everything is rearranged and it took me a few minutes just to figure out where my bank accounts were listed now. You guys messed up and made something that was "ok" confusing to use now. I'm tech literate, so that's not even the issue. Small updates and upgrades are great. Don't completely overhaul something to the point where one can't even figure it out anymore.

If you have a company with a large amount of data, don't expect to be able to do much with this. Slow, glitchy, and only pulled limited and recent data for customers. The ONE thing I did value and use was the receipt capture- which stopped working months ago with an update. Another business professional has the same issue. It's almost November and they still dont have it corrected. This isn't an app for entertainment; it's used to run a business, and for that, its completely useless.

I'm constantly having issues with this app. Half the time it doesn't populate buttons. I usually have to close out and open the app again. Recently it has completely lost my entire customer and vendor list. I can see them on the computer, but they do not show up on the app. Edit: I bumped this up to 3 stars because they responded and helped with my issues. I still believe the app is very clunky and constantly has issues, but at least they responded promptly.

This app is terrible lately. We switched to quickbooks mobile specifically so I could write invoices on the road and in the field. I have been unable to do anything but login and look at the page trying to refresh for two weeks now. We should have never switched from QB desktop. That software was better to navigate and far faster than QB Mobile for phones or PCs. We are looking into another solution away from Quickbooks altogether if they don't shape up quick.

Was a Great app, they helped me fix the crashing bug that was some cache issues, now they changed it and where I used to be able to click and access my checking account information, the entire page is different and I can't find my checking account information. therefore I have no idea how much is in there and if any transfers went through. please bring back the old format!

Can't login. Pay $100/mo for a software tool so complex and stupid you have to pay another $500/mo for someone to use it. App: can't find receipts I've uploaded. Categorizing transactions is a chore, just entering the value is a pain, they make you delete $0.00 to enter your value. NO Reports on the app!! No dark mode. No employee time tracking. Product design incompetence at the highest level.

You know something? Quickbooks is part of our business and when you guys screw around with the app, you cost us money. Mileage simply stops working. What has happened to Quickbooks? We aren't customers anymore longer. We are simply strings of revenue for a dysfunctional company. Stop screwing around with the app and fix it. 4 years ago it was invaluable. Now it is intolerable.

Subscription Issues This app has everything I need to manage my small business, but I keep getting the same subscription issue as mentioned by many others. Have not been able to come to a resolution, will need to look into other programs, which is incredibly disappointing. Otherwise, tracking mileage, receipts, and payments all in one place was wonderful, for the 3 days this program actually worked.

This app used to be great but now it takes so long to load that it's unusable. We tried to work with it on multiple phones and have the same issue. It takes so long to load that you just move on with your day and circle back on the website later. It's very frustrating. Truly unfortunate that while QB's rates have consistently gone up their service has consistently gone down over the last 7 years that we've used it.
