Overall a good app, I like how if you had a slip you just refresh and your total savings is still saved. Don't like how if you hit purchase on something accidentally it doesn't let you remove it. I like the quotes and distraction games on there. It definitely helped a lot when I felt like having a cigerette I looked at the health stats and my progress and that really helped. I've smoked since I was 15 and I'm 43 now, only going on 8 days so it's early but I feel good about it this time
It's a great app. I like that it gives you the option to enter how much your pack costs and how much you are saving by the minute/day. I also like that it shows you how much you smoked/money you've spent. It really gets you thinking about your life choice. However, I think the progress tracker should be a day by day thing because not everyone handles these things the same. Also, no motivational phrases. We already have a list of reasons why we are quitting and that is our motivational phrases.
I've been using this app a little over a year.. I've had a few slip ups and have been harsh on myself.. I'm going on 3 weeks quitting as of Saturday June 29th. I love the helpful tips it gives you, no adds, if you slip up you can always try again.. you can put the exact time and date you quit. Really do enjoy this app hopefully it never changes!
I love everything this app provides. Its what it doesn't provide that keeps me from giving it 5 stars. This app would massively benefit users if it included a tool to start off slowly, working your way down to a point where attempting to stop smoking entirely doesn't seem impossible. For instance, a tool that provides a daily tracker, information about triggers and how to kick them, to help a smoker who smokes a pack a day (20 cigarettes) get down to 1 to 3 a day before stopping completely.
It's exactly what I wanted: tells me how long I spent, how long I've quit, how much money saved, money wasted...the full-screen ads are less welcome and more intrusive than banner ads, but that isn't worth knocking a star off (the people who make the app have to make money, and the full screen ads are, admittedly, rare). The shake-for-quotes is quite cute, too.
This app tells you how long since you've smoked, money saved, life re-earned, # of cigarettes you haven't smoked. It's eye-opening for sure & a little shocking. I'm only on day three, but I like having a tool like this. Idk what pro offers, but the basic app is really good. It offers a diary, a list on why you should keep going, & a little distraction game too.
Quit Tracker is an effective daily reminder focused on freedom from smoking, but also alcohol, TV, junk food, cell phone or other addictions. Quit Tracker encourages you to overcome one day at a time. I was prone to relapses, but seeing my Quit Tracker daily progress reinforces my resolve to keep the streak going. It can also be used for good things like taking daily walks, sticking to a healthy diet, or exercise.
This app saved me several times from slipping up. Every time I considered having a cigarette I'd look at my home page and the widget would tell me how far I've gone. I am now over two years smoke free and I still have the app on my phone. I would recommend it to anyone trying to quit. Don't hesitate, just quit, you'll feel so much better once you do!
A great motivational app to help you keep yourself accountable. Having those hard numbers to remind me of the progress I have made makes saying no to a cigarette a no-brainer. The quotes,a memory game, and some straw breathing was just what I needed to get through the first two days. After that, the app is little more than a reminder of my progress. As of this post I am 7 hours away from 9 days, with no craving strong enough to convince me cigarettes don't smell like a**. Great app, good luck.👍
This is a nice little free app to track your progress. Tells you how much money you've saved, and how much life you've regained. There are built in goals and rewards that you can put for reaching those goals. They even have a memory game as a distraction. Overall a great app for free if you are serious about quitting. Response : Another game option and photos or somewhere back ground behind the quotes. I really dislike how it pops up like an error box.
I have tried a couple of apps and this one outdoes all of them. If you slip, it is so easy to reset the timer and you're on your way again. The diary feature is handy for tracking what kind of activities cause the worst of my cravings which helps me avoid them. The memory game and motivational messages are great tools when I'm trying to fight a craving. *if the app keeps closing, uninstall and redownload and it should work fine.
A must have if you want to change your life! I have used quit smoking apps in the past and went right back to 2 packs a day. So far I've been killing it on this try, and this app is a huge help! Seeing the benefits I'm already experiencing just from a short time of being smoke free is awesome, there are so many huge motivators, tools, and even distractions for those tough moments. Thank you so much for helping people make a life change that will improve their lives for the better! ❤️🙏
I really like this app as it tracks a lot of data such as how many ciggerettes you would have smoked since quitting, increase in life expectancy, and positive health effects from quitting that you should gain just to name a few. I like that it has trophies you can win for achievements that were made. I also am a big fan of the simplicity of the app and ease of use. I highly recommend as a quit smoking app.
I like the "this is what you did to your body" part and the status updates. Obviously no one smokes while they are asleep, but it averages the 24 hour period (20 a day ... doesnt matter what part of the day it would have been 20 in that 24 hours period) and that is great. The quotes are helpful, and the continuous clock makes you feel like you are making progress because it says how far you have come instead of JUST how long you have until your next goal, even if you look at it 15 times a day.
I find it helpful to have milestones to check in on. I actually wish there were more of the small scientific markers to hit. The percentage of a week and a month, etc, are nice but there's milestones give you something to look forward to as you are keeping pace with a life change. Overall, this has been helpful.
So far, I'm loving this app. My only issue is today I had enough "money saved" to "purchase" movie tickets? I didn't understand that feature, so I clicked purchase to see what it did and it subtracted from my money saved and I couldn't get the count back. And I'm pretty sad about it because that was sort of really helpful in my progress.
Day one of my quit, and every time one of those damn ads interrupts what I'm doing, I want to throw my phone across the f*****g room. Especially when they don't close when I press the "skip video" button. I appreciate that it's free, but the ads are insipid and intrusive. I already want to put my head through a wall. This isn't helping. I'd like to leave further review on other aspects of the app, but I wouldn't know, the ads keep interrupting me.
Happy with the app. There is a lot of information and also a few different forms of encouragement and motivation to choose from. It shows how much life you have lost by smoking and gained back by quitting, how much money, also motivational quotes, in addition to counting your quit time. It is a nice visual reminder of what you are doing and why.
I used this app for when I quit smoking cigarettes & loved it. Clean and basic UI. I liked it so much that I used it again to track when I quit using alcohol. And then again when I quit using pills. So my only recommendation to devs is to be able to have multiple quit dates being tracked (for multiple substances) cuz to track those other dates I had to download other apps. There's no good apps out there to act as an all around "quit tracker" all in one place. All in all this app is great tho!!
I would prefer the app icon be something other than a cigarette as it is a trigger for me. I see the cigarette and I think about having one... maybe something more "inspiring" like a Thumbs Up 👍 or a Strong Arm 💪 or maybe customizable for the individual. I also don't want anyone to see the app icon on my phone because I have been a closet smoker with most of my friends and family for several years!
