Dreadful drain on the battery as it keeps running in the background, even after you think you've closed it by swiping it off the lock screen. Stats say it's used 10% of my battery today, despite only listening to the radio for 15 mins. I used to use this app years ago and uninstall for this same reason then, assumed it would have been fixed by now. Uninstalled, again

terrible interface. search function does not work effectively. when you first download and start using the app forces you to choose a favourite station from preselected stations but doesn't let you search for a station that it doesn't recommend. used to be more user friendly but has lost functionality. none of my previous issues have been resolved and the app continues to play progressively more ads. it plays an ad anytime you open the app change the radio player it's not even worth listening

It used to be good but now big brother has taken over. So what do I mean! Well someone has decided to give the app a tweak so that it knows when you are in your vehicle, the app then becomes completely inactive (for your safety!) which makes the app is unusable. Even as a passenger I can't use the app to reload or tune to a different station. I previously gave this app 5 stars but since I can't use it in my vehicle I now give it just 1 star.

Really good layout and able to listen to all UK radio stations in HQ audio where available. Alas only the radio in your country. Would be perfect if one could open in 'Easy mode' by default. Happy to rate 5 stars compared to rival apps.

really great app for musical chairs, consistently stops playing music or whatever you're listening to at random intervals. I've gotten better success out of streaming from a web page or other apps without any interruptions.

It says Radio Player allows you to listen to your favourite radio stations which is incorrect. I can't search for my favourite and it doesn't find any of the stations near me using my current location. This app needs some work.

Asked for my location so it can show me local radio then offered me choice of 23 UK stations. I didn't want any of them but the "continue" button was greyed out unless I chose one. Force-stopped the app and restarted, this time I got the search available. It can't find the station I want however despite me actually listening to that station right now on my laptop. Also can't connect to my WiFi speaker which works fine with Spotify. Overall - no radio for me 😒

A very good radio player application. The only I would like to say is please continue with the updates for devices that will be soon out of date. For me personnly I'n using a Samsung A34 5G and I won't change to the newest latest device.

This is a very good app for doing what it is meant to do but the reason for the 3 stars is the amount of adverts. I mainly use it in conjunction with Android Auto to listen to on my way home from my night shift. I leave work at 6am and it takes me 15 minutes to drive home. There are about 2 minutes of adverts when it first comes on then after the adverts, you get about 2 or 3 minutes of radio then another 2 minutes of adverts. So I get about 6 minutes of radio on my journey.

EXTRA ADS?!?!? Haven't used the app for a while and now there's an ad when I open the app and whenever I change the station AND all of the ads on the actual station. App also doesn't name the song/artist so I'm not seeing any benefits. Doubt I'll be using this app again.

one of latest updates messed the battery life.it seems that the Player is constantly running in background and consuming a large amount of a battery. so much that the phone battery life drop become noticeable. e.g cca 20-25% per day

love it mostly, however it just switches off without warning mid conversation mid tune. Very frustrating on an interview show.

Nothing more annoying than listening to a song and it cuts it off to play an ad.... thanks .. uninstalling for this very reason.

app is good but can't remove favourite stations from list. when I press heart it adds it again resulting in a list of same stations.

Needs work. sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Sometimes the app stops, when the phone's lock screen comes on. sometimes doesn't. then you get to listen to ads when it comes back on when you unlock the screen and click on the app to start it playing again.

I'm a fan of this app and use it all the time, however my station is often lost or buffers when phone is connected to WiFi. And I've noticed this with multiple Wi-Fi sources. Seems solid when connected via data

I have the radioplayer installed on another device, and get 30+ stations to choose from. On another device, the application forces me to choose a location, and picks 8 stations to choose from. when trying to choose another location, the result is the same. I have uninstall and re-installed the app, and even chosen different countries, but the result is the same bad one. so, it has become a BAD app.

Garbage. Plays a random length ad when you start it and inserts ads over radio content while you are listening. Extremely glitchy to cast with, contantly disconnecting. All this to listen to ad packed radio. No thanks.

Edit: Yes, we can see it's a new app. The point remains your favourites from the old one are gone, meaning at best you have to tediously add them all by hand. Perhaps you could be so kind as to warn people. Kiss your saved stations goodbye. Better write them down before you "upgrade" to this version, because it'll wipe them out wholesale. Other than that, looks exactly the same as the old one.

Uninstalling the new version. Some apps let you go back to the old version, and this one doesn't so I guess I'll go back to good old FM. I liked being able to listen to stations I used to listen to out west, as well as Sonic since my fav dj switched stations from TO to Van. But the new version sux. Can't change stations. Keeps skipping even when on WiFi. Let me know when/if you have it fixed.
