My 3 year old niece has a heavily locked down Galaxy Tab S2 that she is only allowed to use for 45 minutes per day other than to talk to me and we use Viber to Video call each other. Always a great quality call. Good sound, great video quality, and it's simple for her to use. However, it would be nice if the proper information was provided in the "what's new" section. Maybe something that actually explains what the new features are.

It's an awesome app .this app has a lot of different options rather than others, such as wonderful stickers and delete option works whenever you want , and the edit option is so much helpful. The new update has something that, in my opinion, is annoying when use stickers jump up at the first line .would be better instead of this, we could make stickers in order as we like and want. I mean, organizing them as our priorities would be great.

Was 5🌟, as time goes by, it gets worse. With 2nd or 3rd updates in a row, all my messages are gone, had to re-register over and over again, didn't happen before the latest updates released. If it ain't broken, don't fix it! Remaining issue, while GPS is on app can't find my location, also can't deactivate sharing location thus keeps popping up error msg. Non-sense!! SG7.

Very nice, easy to use. Free calls break up sometimes, but not as often as Skype, and there's not really much noticeable distortion when calling internationally, which is a problem we have when using a landline. Love love love the stickers, sometimes we'll have entire sticker conversations! Definitely the app that I use the most, and a must-have on every device I use.

I tried Viber to call Japan back in June and took advantage of the free 7 day trial, but was charged for the first month even though I had canceled it. To their credit, they refunded that money back. I tried them again and everything was great until the call was cut off after 2 minutes. My phone number had been blocked for unusual activity (making a phone call). The unblock bot said "Unfortunately, we won't be able to unblock you". It's the old international calling card scam but with phones.

this is like one of the worst texting apps ever I do not get why so many people use it (to the point it's impossible to communicate without it because most people only have this app). It crashes so much won't let me end a call when I accidentally call someone everything is glitchy and takes too long to send my texts even tho my wifi is perfectly fine.

If you switch from iPhone to Android phone as main device, or vice versa, you lose access to your backups. Only phones are allowed as main device. I lost some data from a long time ago due to quirks in their backup feature. SMS verification rarely works in certain networks and you'll be stuck with call verification, which is only allowed once every 24 hours. After a month, your images and videos are no longer accessible outside your main device.

Although a general good expiriance, there is a lot of room for improvment. Especially the delete message option. The options need revisioning. The send a message for the 1st time can be made a lot more simple. No contact, send message can be made easier and the process can be significantly streamlined. Search options can be improved - search bi contact, group name, text and filters can be implemented. Jump to date is a good feature that is missing.

Verifying my phone number fails consistently. No call is received (yes, I did enter the correct number!) and if I tap the "call me again" option it says I have exceeded the maximum number of attempts allowed. So that's it. One attempt allowed which fails and you're stuck. I tried it on another phone with another provider and that did receive a call but the last 4 digits were rejected as incorrect. (They were not!) This is rubbish. Yolla does exactly the same to verify my number and that worked!

Not as reliable as ordinary carrier. Might fail you when needed. There is pretty much always a considerable delay (at least between Denmark and Poland). Seems to have issues with my bluetooth headset, as it switches output on each established call connection. Good that it shows my phone number at the adresse. Shame that SMSes cannot be sent.

Recently, my PRIVATE chats have been targeted with ads from a local bank based on the text I type. Any time I type "money", "credit" or any bank-related term, regardless of the context, the text gets highlighted and there is an ad under my message. I understand that selling my usage data is a thing for using "free" apps and services, but targeting the text I type in a PRIVATE conversation is absolutely unacceptable.

1. App opens ads in browser without any permission during a call. If you try to close ad and browser, app reopens browser with same ad again and again. 2. App is slow af 3. Uses a lot of storage for nothing 4. Redownloads? stuff that should be available without internet connection 5. Incredibly slow with poor internet connection, even with plain text messages 6. No normal backup and integration with pc version, so you can easily lose your data Sometimes it's behavior looks like malware

This is the worst app for activation. It always fails to activate, and I waited way too long without ever receiving the verification code. I tried multiple times and still nothing worked. The UI is also very buggy and laggy, which makes the whole experience even more frustrating. Definitely not recommended. Other apps handle verification much faster and smoother. Very disappointing experience.

I have been using this app for several years now and it's been wonderful connecting to my family. It has changed alot over time. Some things are good, others I'm not a fan of. Ads have been added, chat groups and some stuff I really have anything to do with 😄. I guess it's to suit the majority of users 👍. I now have other apps too that are great 👌😀. I still like to keep this one for now as it's a familiar and straight forward app and my family still all like to use it 😍.

The fact that I cannot opt out or silence the viber chat infuriates me. I don't need to get notified for an app sending me a sticker, I need notifications for people sending me messages. The business inbox, which is useless and just another annoyance, can be at least put on silent. All the other 'features' are also pretty useless and not so different from similar apps or have other apps already do them (like bday reminders and snapchat filters). And AI chat summary? Seriously?

Terible! Just terrible! I was switching between my phones, and first of all my old messages didn't transfer to a new device, although backup was on. But what's worse, I am not able to login to my old device, because the screen is stuck on a 4-digits verification, but the call never happens! The support is silent. I don't recommend this app, and encourage everyone to uninstall it.

Viber version 26.8.1.0 is fine. The settings in this update are not the same as before, which is inconvenient to use. It was easy to use as it was before. Now, the new update has nothing, which is inconvenient to use. For example, the Viber status icon is no longer there, and the Business Inbox cannot be hidden, which is inconvenient. It is busy to see.you can't fix it?

This app cost me a 10-year friendship. It didnt sync and send my messages so my bestie thought i lied and ghosted her. Now it won't send files and photos on WiFi-- it demands i use data every single time. I wish i could physically rip this app off of my devices, douse it in gasoline and burn it but alas we use it at work. Curse you Viber!

The app already has advertising, wedged in the middle of the chat list and banner ads. So why does Viber have the ability to open a browser tab on my phone even if I didn't press anything? It opens a browser tab to an online selling website I do not use. I understand that data today is something a user is entrusting not to risk, but you opening a browser tab that is already linked to my personal email, is bad. It's not my accepted risk to go there. STOP OPENING BROWSER TABS DURING CALLS.
