HORRIBLE since the last update. I can no longer access the sale history, the map, the other listings in the same complex or see photos of the house once sold. I can't even sign in. I don't think this is a glitch. It appears they no longer want users to be informed on the list low then relistagain , then relist AGAIN strategies agents are using. This is a travesty.
For the most part this app is great. However there is an issue with the Android version. For the past 2 months I've been getting a error message regarding connectivity roughly 10 seconds after entering the app. This has nothing to do with my wifi or data connection. The only fix is to hard close the app and re-enter. This issue happens 2 to 4 times a day. Time to work on some bug fixs Zolo.
Overdue updates!? To access saved favorites is quite not user friendly as it's hidden under 'menu - saved items', it should be located right at the bottom of the main page and just one click away. Also, those school rankings are from 2014! There must be newer data from Fraser Institute. The app freezes often especially when it goes back to previous page from current page. Good features include: 1. Monthly market statistics 2. Listing history of each property though sometimes data missing
It's a hopeless app. Most of the houses available for rental are mentioned as 2 bed 2 bath and when you open it the sucker says it's a shared unit... I mean then mention it as one bed and not as 2 bed 2 bath. Also only a few decent people mention it's a basement, most idiots don't mention it in the ad and we waste a ton of time opening every listing to find out a huge waste if time... No offenses, but what kind of UI testing went into the app is worth giving a second thought.
Solid app but the keyword feature has stopped working making it barely usable. I've had "garage" in there for years and for the last few weeks nothing is showing up. Even after confirming listings have the word "garage" in the nothing shows up anywhere. Will change review if fixed. Month later, issue continues to happen, doesn't matter what you put in the search window nothing shows up.
Don't usually leave reviews, but I had to. The app's pretty great with stats, updated listings and the aesthetic is okay too. However, I have had horrendous experiences booking house tourswoth agents. They never get back to you in time, don't pick you calls and to be honest a good third of them were quite rude. They would be texting me and I would get automatic responses which so infuriating especially when you're waiting for the agent to show.. only for them to cancel! Suggested: Redfin, etc.
This app is easy to use and really helpful. I would have given it 5 stars, however, there is one issue. When trying to delete saved properties from your favorites list, it gets stuck, and cannot be removed. I've tried many times selecting and then unselecting the heart but they're stuck to your list. This makes it difficult to use. Other then that I think the app is great.
Zolo is an overall great app compared to other real estate apps, but there are ALOT of technical issues of lately that has turned me off completely! When trying to access the bottom bar such as menu, saves, alerts etc I am unable to open it. I click on it and nothing opens at all! So me savin to favourites is pointless since I cannot access it. The app would randomly shut down time to time in the middle of a search as well. The app needs a serious makeover and BETTER technical support.
Exactly as a previous user described, this app is rendered useless when you try to filter your search. It doesn't matter what filter criteria you choose, as soon as you select something, the "Apply" and "Cancel" buttons are disabled and you can't exit out and I have to restart the app. The same happens on your website version as well. I use a Google Pixel 4+.
Zolo marketed itself as a free app, but as soon as that they found enough users, they stopped putting basic information that you can find on other websites for example tax or size of lots. Their statistics are not reliable at all, I emailed them about the discrepancies for their data several times with examples and documents and they've never replied back to me.
UX is great and well thought out. Very user friendly. My only complaint is that there is no way to filter by 'Year Built' for buyers. There is no way to provide feedback in app that I could find, so mentioning in review. It would have been my go to app otherwise. Rew.ca provides this functionality but is missing many other things that Zolo has. However I can't use Zolo because of this one limitation. I think I've tried to reach out before as well. It'd be great if you can add that feature.
App sends notifications for random listings not in my area. Notifications arrive multiple times (4+) and my phone will beep each time. There is currently no way to tailor the notifications or select which area I want to be notified about new listings. I reached out to support and they told me they didn't know why I'd receive notifications for listings in BC when I live in a different province 3000km away.. Also can't determine my location properly and usually puts me in the middle of NB..
Took forever to launch without any visual loader I thought the app had crashed. I could not find a way to search or filter properties based on price or features, which makes the app kinda useless to me, as I don't wanna have through sort through all listings every time.
It used to be great. Only showed me properties in the selected area. Not I can be looking at something in British Columbia and suddenly I have Ontario properties. I do not want to move to Ontario! I also asked for under a certain $ amount and it keeps showing properties in the millions. I don't have millions to spend. Just super frustrating!
Does NOT send notifications when there is a new listing even though you are signed up to receive them but does send notifications of irrelevant (ones that do NOT fit any criteria set for my filter of listings which you have to give your information to"sign up" for) listings which was the only reason the app was downloaded . Only good thing about the app is pictures of the listing & sometimes you get additional pictures in the listing not on other apps .
I really like the concept of this, the map feature is amazing How ever I get notifications from Regina And always need to switch back to my province, also the app doesn't update its listings as some of the houses I inquired about have been sold and removed from the main realtor page. Maybe it is hard to get that right, anyways just wished there was a way to set your province that you only want to get notifications about and within your price range. Great app other wise.
Decent app with some unintuitive layout choices and missing features. Saved homes could be more accessible. Save search can be more useful if it lets users save their filtered criteria in conjunction with area selected on the map. If the fact that there is no way to detect phones current location and show listings nearby, is a strategic decision- the reason is beyond my understanding.
These guys have done everything right! The app is typically very fast and efficient, it remembers search settings and the map loads quickly. I haven't tried the notification feature yet but will. I plan on supporting them when I am ready to purchase a new place. Great job, especially when compared to other similar apps. If you doubt want to waste your time, try this app first because it really is the best one out there right now.
Filters are useless, requiring phone number to ask a question is obnoxious. As if it isn't insulting enough to be restricted on pets when spend half a million dollars for an apartment, despite having the option to fill in this information, every single listing's "Pets" field is a CTA to "Contact Us" that requires name, e-mail, and phone number, just to be told no. Waste of time.
I like this app but the map never works. You click on a house and it just sits at a loading box. It's super fustrating since that's the way I find houses near me. I live outside the city so it's hard to find them without using the map. Wish they would fix this.
