Have played this game on and off for over 5 years, its still better than any other free idle game I've found. The flow of progression, the secrets to find, the way different bonuses work, its just really well made. If you're wanting more active playstyle, go good route, for passive/offline, go evil, but get those trophies, they're very important.

Amazing game. Nothing more needs to be said. However, I have noticed a visual bug with the Heaven's Gate not quite meshing with the road/mountain. I also argue that it would be neat to have a more advanced yet accessible zoom function - I have noticed that, varying on device, one would have to zoom in or zoom out, and for me personally, I can't even see the Witch Conclaves anymore when I switched over to a new phone. These small visual issues aside, cheers for this absolute gem of a game!

this is a fantastic game. I have returned to this again and again over the years, learning and accomplishing more every time. one thing I have always struggled with so many idle games is their sameness, the fact that there's no room for personalization. while you're always building essentially the same buildings, it gives you dozens of variations on how to play it, and I love it. the only thing I struggle with is that if you don't close the app completely, it doesn't count as offline time

After playing for 2 years, I keep coming back to this game after a break from idle games. This game checks off everything you could want from an idle game. You can be active, you can be idle, or somewhere in the middle. An insane amount of unlockables that I actually had to look up a guide for because every little boost helps. I love this game.

I love this game. There's so much things to unlock, as well as different ways to get the gems. Instead of just one thing repeatedly, you can choose from different factions, each with different abilities, and even unlock new ones. When I first played this game I remember autocast hurting mana regeneration, I'm still curious if I'm thinking of the right thing or not. But overall this is a very fun and time consuming game. lots of grinding to do. always love farming for new stuff in any game.

A very unique idle experience with a perfect blend of an RPG-esque style. Appeals to almost every playstyle with a wide variety of mechanics to do so. However, the "grind" system in late game activities is hardly rewarding, and often requires weeks of progress for very little reward. If you're looking for a game you play for the first few weeks and then quit, this is for you.

This game is a LOT deeper than it looks. Well worth playing. All the different factions and races allow for a wide variation of play styles. Great game all around. UPDATE: I approached the devs about my in-app purchase problem, and they fixed everything up quick and with no hassle. I had to approach them 3 times, in fact, because I had bought all 3 upgrades and couldn't access them. I sent in screenshots of the problem and the help desk got it sorted out. Excellent work! Upgrading to 5 stars.

Not bad for a clicker! At first, it looked outdated and boring, but the longer I played, the more I liked it. Many options of play style opens up eventually, with promises of more. And for free! You don't have to spend a penny to enjoy this addictive game, but you can if you want to. No pop up ads at all, and playable offline. My only reason for giving less than ten stars is the difficulty moving my game to a new phone, depsite the cloud save, and the less than slick android interface.

I never last longer than a day and half in any given idle/clicker game and usually fast forward it years but this is the ultimate. The music is great, the art is very neat, no bugs or crashes, no annoying notifications. I play a couple games in my daily commute and this one gets the biggest slice of the pie by far, and the only game in my homescreen.

I enjoyed this game at first, but lack of transparency and a constant demand for attention have worn its charm away. Games need to be reset after just 15 minutes most times, and upgrades need to be re-purchased every few seconds or minutes. Spending a few minutes to set up your build and then going offline is unfortunately not an option, as the game must be left running for the spells to function, and you'll need to reset again by the time you're done setting up anyway. If you do leave the game running without reincarnating, any extra gems you produce are lost, just wasted time. There's very little instruction for unlocks, and many tooltips are vague, so playing with a guide is necessary for anyone interested in minmaxing figures. (Would any other type of person even install a game like this?) For instance, one research option says it boosts the production of buildings dependent on their tier, favouring lower tiers. Okay, but what's the boost? The need to reference a wiki has made the game very frustrating.

One of the only clicker/incremental games that i know of that avoids the repetitive "tap until you get enough autoclickers" rut that most fall into. Gameplay is varied with the addition of alignments/races/etc that gives unique bonuses that are more or less useful depending on where you are in the progression to the next wall or certain achievements. Only downside is probably that some walls are difficult to plan for yourself, but online resources are plentiful and easy to implement.

Look, I don't like idle games, but this one does it really well. After logging 40+ hours, I'm not even close to finished. I cannot continue onward with this game because I need something interactive or more visually appealing, but make no mistake, there is no other idle upgrade game out there that can suck your time out like a vampire feeding a ravenous bloodlust and make you feel the need to keep going to see that money climb higher and higher.

The best "clicker game" ever! As a fan of classic RPG and idle clickers, Realm Grinder combines both to make probably the most in depthidle game I have ever played. If you want to play casually, you can do that. And if you want to progress and play regularly, for longer amounts, great! This game has so much depth and so many things to discover. I actually like how the ads work in this game. You only have to see ads (if you choose) at reasonable intervals to receive various boosts. Great game!

This game is imo better than any other idler because of its variable types of progressing. I've had this game on my phone for years now. I've taken it off but am back at it again. Yeah there are walls, but a lot of the walls are self inflicted. There is no reason to not abjicate if you aren't reaching reincarnation fast enough. Different classes reach that point way way faster than others. Also mercenary class is where you'll start to learn what's good and what isn't.

I have 1100 hours of the game on PC and recently took a lot at the mobile version. It's a wonderfully built incremental game that has the player needing to develop new strategies over the course of the game. a little slow at times, but a lot of that is either intentional by the player or the player needing a stronger strategy and there are solid sources available. I also appreciate Kongregates dedication to hosting these games on multiple platforms this is more of an active incremental game

Very deep content, I completely enjoy the rise. Long term with seemingly quick gain, and many paths to choose from on incremental reset. So much content to unlock, it would be interesting to have a guide or full walkthrough. But then there would be no surprize when you break through that wall of seeming to tread water on resets. Overall my favorite idle game.

Love this game! I suspect maybe this was a bug you fixed where the "Buildings" Buy All button was on display when the "Upgrades" menu was active. any chance you could intentionally reintroduce that to the game? I liked being able to hit noth "Buy All" buttons from one screen. :p Im lazy and want to watch big number get bigger with as little thought process as possible.

Realm Grinder is one of the best idle games ever made, and easily deserves a 5 star rating, but the ad implementation in the mobile app is the worst. The ads wont play, but they open the play store on their own despite not giving a reward due to the playback error. They won't close half the time. They freeze the application and erase progress due to the crash. Advertisements shouldnt be this difficult, especially in a game where the ad rewards are unnecessary. Please fix this, it's infuriating.

Realm Grinder is a relatively unique idle game in that you pick between alignments and factions between those alignments, and gameplay goes between farming achievements, and farming gems from resetting. Hunting achievements, and later on doing Challenges keeps things interesting for a while, but once you get into mercenaries it begins getting tedious, and research just sucks all of the fun out of the game for me. 5/5 early / mid game, awful lategame.

I've spent a while looking for an idle game where I didn't feel forced to watch ads all the time and eventually happened upon this one. It's exactly what I was after and more, with gameplay that evolves as you progress to stop it feeling repetitive. However, this is one of the first apps I downloaded on my nice new Pixel 9A, and the position of the camera obscures the currency bar such that I am unable to see how many gems I have, making certain aspects of the game more frustrating.
