I say four stars because I just wish they had a chat feature kind of like the old school chat that they used to do for people to just come in and have conversations it would be really great I don't like the whole posting thing I like the old school IRC chat. Otherwise I would like it if they could incorporate an AI model of some sort to show the features and how they work and all the things you can do. Also questions regarding app navigation.
I have struggled with addiction problems for over a decade. It's a long, grueling, discouraging process sometimes but having tools like this app and all the stuff that's in it has really served my recovery well! It's a whole game changer, if you are thinking about getting it and still have doubts about getting where you want to be in your recovery, try it out! Prayers going up for anybody reading this
This is hands down not only best sobriety app but best app i have ever used. It all the tools you need to quit anyting. Lists meetings various different groups, thoughts, urges everything and it gives you recommendations on what to do. You can set up a beacon to contact people if you need support and you can share all of your thoughts and logs with your treatment professionals as well as friends you may want to share with. It has built-in meditations as well as reminders to take medications.
Its not bad really. Helps me keep my days, the rewards and affirmations are great. However, I have been stuck on the same reward. Its completed and usually would go to another puzzle. I use this app every day and the reward puzzles were my favorite and helped me want to continue using it. Does it stop after so long or something? Hopefully it is just a glitch and can be fixed. I really look forward to the different music and talks.
Only 39 days into my recovery but this is the app I use most. Helpful and encouraging without feeling pushy or annoying. I love the daily affirmations and also adorable pics. Another cool feature is that you can "collect" pics and/or affirmations that you like so you can go back and read them. If there is a way to share them, which would be awesome, I haven't been able to figure it out. It should be mentioned I am oldish and not "techy".
So I decided to write a review because I AM such a fan. I agree with everyone's comments and any positives mentioned! However, I think that the app should somehow have a second part to it (?). For example, I've been using the app since October '22. And even though I still use it, I just sometimes find myself thinking almost backwards, if that makes sence, if doing an exercise that I have before or things like that. So, an added 'program' for those who have been maintaining sobrietry for while.
Wow! This app has helped me through two bad cravings for alcohol! Tip: As soon as you have a craving or trigger, open the app and log it. They provide many helpful tips and help you stay centered. The one thing I would like to complain about is the fact the app doesn't keep track of how much you are drinking. Little goals like drinking less matter.
For someone that is honest, willing, and teachable, this app is an amazing resource. It is a constant reminder of why an individual uses, the trouble it caused, and why you shouldn't use again in the future. You can set problem locations and situations that can alert loved ones or other accountability people in your life. You can find meetings. Track your progress with morning and afternoon check ins! Do yourself a favor and download this app!!
I definitely love the setup of the app and I enjoy all of positive area's that it offers, like: journaling, positive affirmations, thoughts, any feeling and being able to keep track of your sobriety days, which is very important in recovery. I also love the quotes and sayings because it allows me to grow and view outside of my own box with different knowledge other than my own.
Been using this for a few days, and it's actually really wonderful. I like all of the options for goals, check-ins, and trigger logging/preparing for. I have been through extensive DBT training, and many of the skills translate directly. Helps a lot to break up the process of working through the process of recovery into bite size steps I can work on anywhere/anytime. Been very helpful during moments of cravings, urges, or distress to refocus on positive thinking and sticking to my plans.
I discovered this app by typing in "Sobriety." Although I don't struggle with drugs or alcohol, I do struggle with Binge eating/food addiction. The app still accommedates to that addiction aspect. I've only used it for a few days now and already feel confident that I can succeed. Also, having my coping skills and triggers near has been helpful not only to myself but my supports as well. I'm very thankful I stumbled upon this app. Thank you!!
This is really the BEST app I have ever used! It's better than i even hoped for, really. I have tried almost 30 other, I can't even say similar, apps but they are no contest! this has everything available all the time any time for any reason! you need to talk to somebody, or to find a meeting, or if you want to read resources or reach out to other people going through the same thing you are, this is the perfect app! I love it! Life changing amazing! thank you for creating it!
If you are a recovering addict I highly recommend this app! You can log your thoughts, feelings, cravings, and urges without having to worry about annoying ads like every other free app. They have guided meditations , morning and evening check in's, and much more. It is like having a sponsor on your phone.
This app absolutely helps people in recovery stay involved with the AA/NA communities. It pretty cool all the things you can do, tons of features you can edit to make unique to your own recovery & past addiction features. One thing I think wouldve made the app easier to use, is a "tour" feature or "how to use this app" option. There are tons of options to use on this app, but I don't think I'm able to use quite a bit bc I just haven't figured out how on my own.
I love that I can easily go on and put in my schedule for the day and any triggers I have had! I love the suggestions they have up too.
it has been instrumental in my recovery. it's easy to log things and provides a great baseline for checking in and inventorying.
great clinic and a great app to support those who are serious about getting their lives back and taking advice steps in getting and sustaining recovery. the westminister clinic in general is a fantastic clinic with genuine workers who really do take the time to help each and every patient that comes in needing help
I find the RecoveryPath app is so helpful, intuitive, personalized, affirmative and one of the best recovery tools!!💟💜🩵 Especially love the daily affirmations💟💗 From: Laura B, Boston, Mass.
great free app! who could complain? this is probably the best free sobriety app BESIDES I am sober, but there's more features on this app, the other one just has the best sobriety counting widget
This app is amazing! it helps keep me on track and the exercises are resourceful as well as fun! highly recommended!
