RecovR: Vehicle Theft Recovery

The app is buggy. It will crash. Then it will kick you out. Then it won't allow you 2 use autofill. Once you're in, it will allow 2 set up everything except assign a pic 2 your vehicle. No clue why - Permissions are good 🤷🏾‍♂️. Then the tracking feature. OMG it takes forever for an update when its been "alerted" when the vehicle has moved. This may not be an app problem, but it's something to be aware of. Most of the time it's wind related. If I could I would use a more reliable app.

This App and productt has got to be one of the worst on the market !!! There is no real-time tracking to follow the direction of the vehicle, instead the app updates every 3 minutes (even in recovery mode) This 3 minutes was enough time to allow the thief that stole my daughter's car to park a couple of minutes away and remove the device No thanks to this device the car was recovered partially stripped. This device was pre-installed where we purchased the vehicle from.

Don't waste your money on this product. If you try to refresh the location manually, it will take anywhere from 10 minutes to over an hour. You can get other GPS trackers that are way cheaper that will do live tracking and do a force location refresh within a minute or two at a fraction of the price. The only reason I have this junk product is that the dealership forced me to pay for it when I bought a new car.

Poorly built and way overpriced. I was talked into this device by the car dealer. it's poor. It often reports the wrong location. Even when it's in my driveway the address it reports does not exist. When i asked a support rep about it they blamed Google maps (in a very broken english kind of way). funny thing, Google maps gets my home address right everytime.

this app is awesome!!! I really love it, the only down side i have with it and hopefully they can send an update to my device is that it let's me know my vehicle has moved 2 to 3mins after is has moved. I've had it since June 23, 2025. my Wife just got it and activated it on Nov. 9th and her response and texts vehicle moved alerts. 20-35sec. after it has moved. in closing this is a good, no great app to have and I recommend it to anyone who wants location/usage knowledge of their car.

They utely have no clue what they're doing. The link to login to the account they gave me is actually someone else's account with someone else's name on it and a tracker ID that I am possitive dose not match the one in my trailer, but my vin number is correct in the app.and make and model. it shows the vehicle being 37 miles away. They gave me the address and I verified that is not nor has it ever been at that location I am assuming that the tracker ID got miked up with someone else's

LOVE being able to find my keys quickly now! Before, I was losing them so often...usually in the bottom of my purse or under paperwork, but spending so much precious time searching. Now I just tell my phone to find my keys and voila! The combination blinking light and beeping makes it super easy and fast to find my keys now!

Location does not give exact address. It seems like the app makes up address numbers in a guess of local addresses. Photo option does not work. Cannot upload picture of vehicle or use phone camera despite giving the app permission. App does not update vehicle location fast enough or often enough. Went almost 36 hours before app decided to update location of vehicle. No notifications from the app when the vehicle is moved from last location.

half the time it doesn't work and I was forced by the stealer ship to add it. I absolutely hate this app I hate the fact I had to add it and its overall one of the worst apps I had ever used. Scam!/ haha I just tried to email you and it won't deliver bc the email isn't working. This whole thing is one massive scam!

Honestly I've never used an app that was this terrible! It crashes all the time, you can't add your car's picture to the profile, the location tracking is a joke. I won't renew the service for sure. You better off with airtags at this point.

This is an amazing app. I'm able to keep up with where my car is if I ever need to report it stolen or even if my daughter just needs me to meet her somewhere (her car, with her permission) The setup was a breeze, and the app interface is user-friendly. Highly recommend RecovR for anyone looking to secure their vehicle.

app password recovery is totally flawed, not working. opens password reset to an ad page. Keeps signing me out everyday. doesn't send reset emails until the 5th try. SMS recovery not working. inside app the "my assets" only shows map, takes forever and non stop clicking on GPS calibrate icon to bring it up. TOTALLY FLAWED WEBSITE AND APP. such a huge hassle. every update signs you out of last sign in screwing up everything then it doesnt accept your password. WHY DOES THIS APP SIGN YOU OUT DAILY

App works great since it was redesigned! I've been able to find my keys several times and like being able to get notified when my car moves, especially when I park on the street.

The app works well and alerts me when I take my trailer out from storage to go camping that it detects with gps that it has moved. This is great as I feel that if something bad does happen, I will be better able to use app with law enforcement to RecovR my trailer!

my maps gps is better than this app. at least I can locate the exact location. with recovR, I can't see the location or exact time when my vehicle is being moved. I do not recommend this app. to use as a way of finding your car.

App will not let me sign up to make an account, sign into account, this app is 100 percent worthless to me at this point if I can't sign up or sign in. Thanks anyway. Edit: I didn't buy this from a car dealership, I AM a car dealership.

Great service, they constantly check for devices function and sent me a new one immediately when it malfunction. Haven't b had an issue since. Very happy with everything.

This app is supposed to tracks my vehicle in real time. It just updates location every 30 mins and sometimes gives me wrong address update. Is just another way for car dealership to rip off people.

The app is laggy and take forever to scanning to find my cat keys and my car. when I drove my car and it put my car location somewhere else the app needs a new update and it needs to respond faster

I love this app. When i loan out my car i know the address of my vehicle. Super easy to use the app. Would recommend to anyone who wants recovery protection for their vehicle.
