reebee: Flyers & Shopping List

Been using it for years. Works fairly well for what it is. For some reason, we still can't have "favorite stores only" and "sort by price low to high" saved as default, which I suspect is intentional to show us stuff from stores we don't care about. It's annoying. Last time I contacted devs about it they said they weren't planning on adding this feature. That was years ago.

Update: this used to be a great app and I had given it five stars but now is down to one because it's just as garbage as Flipp and I'm guessing it's because they bought out Reebee so this app is now also useless just like Flipp! Original review: Way better than Flipp! My only issue is that the images of sale items on my shopping list are way too small and zoomed in (e.g. I can't tell if I'm looking at a bag, carton or jug of milk). No option in Settings to adjust. Fix that, and then 5 stars!

still learning how it works. update: Way too complicated. wanted to find a grocery item on sale near me - app provided online answers but I want to go in person to buy it. not worth the hassle to save a few bucks.

big problem .. you cant make a select on a lot of flyers, ie. the asian grocers .. are the big box stores manipulating your app function .. looks like it !

WARNING. Duckduckgo recorded over 3435 tracking attempts from the Reebee app in the past hour!!! And this is when the app was closed. NO permissions were granted either!! What's up with that Reebee?? Reebee, be a better corporate citizen. (YES. I have screenshots. I will share on Reddit.)

This app is fantastic! I can look at flyers and create my store list for the stores and no paper needed!

Great app. sometimes you have to search for your store but in general it works great.

always my go to before I go shopping! I saved so much money since I started to price match and, or go to the store that had the special on. My biggest savings was a small upright freezer that was on sale and there was over 100.00 difference on the same make and model!!

Some of the flyers do not allow me to select items for my list. This started about 3 weeks ago

So very annoyed at this app. It is identical to Flipp. Almost certainly the same company under a different name. The point, however, is that they have altered the programme because when it first came out you could set it to list the lowest price first. They changed that so that they list some arbitrary thing first that they probably get paid for, so it's not useful for real people. And it resets everytime you log in. Very frustrating unless you're into buying what they tell you to buy.

I have been using this app for 4 years, and it was great! It was great for price matching. When I was checking out, I used my list and tapped on the item that I was price matching. The app took me right to the item on the flyer page, which gave the flyer date, the price, and the product details. I updated the app last week & my shopping experience changed drastically....I HATE THE CHANGES!!! And I can't quickly get to the flyer view of each item. RATING: ZERO* Can only post if I give 1*

Used to love the app but it's not very user-friendly since the update. I loved seeing the item image in the list but now you can't. You can't place the items in the desired order. We used to add items not in the flyer to a specific store's list but now they all end up in "My list". The delete swipe doesn't work right no matter what starting point or swipe speed used. Please bring back the tap and hold to add items. I keep accidentally adding items now that it's just a tap.

The new upgrade is trash. I liked the older version. The older version was more user friendly. I liked it before when we would check mark the item and the item would be categorized in under the store, in a list form with pictures of each item so I can easily price match. Now it's just all words and letters... Too bad I can't go back to the older version...

I don't like the new page style. I much preferred having actual pages with numbers and swiping from side to side to get to the next page of the flyer. Pages are smaller, I have to zoom in now to see what I want. I want a choice. Also, I no longer have a way to see ONLY UPCOMING flyers. I have to waste time scrolling through a bunch of flyers I don't need. Give us an option at least. In the mean time, I'm switching. No reason to use Reebee right now. There are other choices.

The new update is complete garbage. The fact you have to have a postal code in within a city directly, not just locally (we live in a small village with no stores) is dumb. Also, the app doesn't load properly and the photos of flyers are always pixalated. And when you're exiting it ALWAYS asks "are you sure" regardless of clicking the "don't show this again" option. Go back to the original format. It was much easier and way nicer.

Used to be great, new version, July 2023 is terrible. They tried to fix something that was not broken. It used to be very user friendly, all the flyers were visible, you chose the one you wanted and could easily look through it. It's like flipp now, which I didn't use for a reason, they must have purchased it. Now it is a mess. It still has flyers so it does the job just much less efficient and user friendly. Please return it to the older version.

This app was great, simple, exactly what it needed to be. Unfortunately, it was decided they would try to fix something that wasn't broken, and as a result they've made an app that is unusable. All the new changes make it impossible to browse flyers easily, and some of my most used flyers are no longer available. I'll be deleting the app now, will reconsider if they revert to the old version.

It worked great before. I don't understand why it was revamped this way. The good - imported all my previous lists, dark mode, favourite store. The bad and most annoying !!! - item sort is really shoddy either by relevance or price, always have to customize filters for every single search or item list. AND! I always need data/wifi otherwise the app won't work if I just want to view my list. Might as well use a manual list :-(

Not loving the new update. I find its harder to find the flyers I want. I don't like that the flyers are scrolled downed instead of flipping the pages to the sides. I don't like the production selection with the yellow circle. I also don't like that it automatically opens the product information when selecting the product. I hate that no matter how many times I click the option not to stop me from leaving the app when I try to leave, it still stops me. Put it back to what it was before.

I'm not crazy about the new update to make it more like Flipp, the parent company. That's why I didn't use flipp in the first place. i dont like it as much. I found the older version easier and quicker to navigate, plus why would it say that it was restoring previous data, but not actually do anything. I had to start from scratch with the exception that it had peanut butter already in the search window.
