Reliance Connect

Supposed to send me a code to verify my phone number. You can receive the code by text or by phone call. Neither option is working for me. App doesn't seem to be functioning right or something. Have made a handful of attempts, using both options, with no success.

I'm at my wit's end. Thanks to Covid the ONLY way that I'm able to see my girlfriend's face is through this BROKEN app, calls don't go through, it crashes every 30 seconds to 1.5 minutes, freezes at random, all the while the clock still runs! You guys NEED to hire some better programmers or leave the app design ENTIRELY to the open source web because I know amateur programmers who could design a superior app that ACTUALLY WORKS. Am considering sueing to compensate the $300+ I've wasted on this

Obviously a necessary evil if you want to talk to your loved one while they are incarcerated. But it constantly glitches and pixelated where it shouldn't be. Used to be able to see how much time there was left but now that's disappeared. As much as it costs to use this app I really think it should be better. I've spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars for this service and I'm definitely not getting service worth that amount. Please improve this it's all we go to connect to our loved ones.

video calls are always digitized when they do work but most of the time we end up just seeing a white screen and the video never loading. We have tried over both wifi and mobile data, we have tried different phone numbers and devices, tried the force stop, uninstall and reinstall... every suggestion given to try has been tried, nothing works. It was working fine for 2 days and now we can't even see each other but Reliance sure does still charge you for the minute that didn't actually connects.

This app is horrible. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. If it works it's good but 90% of the time it doesn't work. It won't connect calls. I've requested a test call that won't even work. This is sad. Only way I can see my husband and most of the time it doesn't work. U need to fix it. I'm tired of wasting money on this for it not to even work. You're ripping people off. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled and still isn't working

This app is really bad. When it works, if it works, it's great but more often then not, it won't connect to the call server and half the time, it doesn't show the video when you connect a call. If there was another app, I'd use it. I don't think Reliance cares that it doesn't work worth a damn because they know there ARE NO OTHER OPTIONS

I would honestly like to give this app -25 9 out of 10 times freezes, drops call, doesn't let you have option to answer and a lots of other problems and it's a joke to the company who makes a killing off incarcerated and their loved ones and even though for myself I have sent emails or call the company when something goes wrong and then problems get blamed on my cellular device and can't ever get reimbursed or credited for all the money we're our world is in the middle of hardship

I honestly can't give even 1 star even though i have to to leave a review with the problems going on with this app. It was working of course the app has to be open to receive calls which is stupid but can be delt with. One day the app just stop working for me and i use it everyday now when you call it shuts the app down. When I called reliance for help they gave me nothing but excuses and no help resolving anything. Please fix this app ASAP

They suck and always has issues, they cost way to much for what service they give you. The app never lets me know they are calling and when we try to do video calls it just says disconnected and can't get it to work most times. They should not be asking for what they are to use the service.

Freezes all the time, won't connect, drops calls, pictures are very pixelated. Terrible app. This is the only way we have to see our loved ones because of covid, you would think it would work better or the facilities would find a better option.

Doesn't work as it should. Calls aren't coming through. Runs nonstop but doesn't work. Have to force stop the app. It rings but calls don't appear on screen and unable to answer. Horrible app. They need to fix this app. Unfair inmates pay for this service and can't even use it.

This app has so many flaws such as freezing up if you or the inmate even moves, hangs up on you for no reason and then charges the inmate $0.25 every time they call back just to get hung up on again or frozen, its glitchy almost like talking to a robot. You think as much as they charge they could fix the system!! VERY DISAPPOINTED but have no choice but to keep paying the high prices and deal with the glitches just so I can see my fiance!

This app is the worst I have ever used. I don't understand why the app has to stay open just to receive calls...ridiculous!! This company needs to upgrade the app so it'll user friendly instead of user frustration. Seriously, we add money to their accounts but can't use it for calls or video calls. It's absurd.

More than half the time my phone doesn't ring when they try to call me , nothing happens on my end of the phone so lots of hard earned money wasted on attempted calls. If I don't sit on the app with it open the calls rarely come through. Please fix this.

App sucks sometimes he has to call 3 times for us to see each other it freezes up alot. The timers on my screen doesn't match timer on his screen. We spend way to much for the quality we get but its all there is to keep in connect with the ones we love.

Account deactivated. Too many attempts. Pasdwotd fails. Uninstalled app and reinstalled up. Set up a whole new account. Did not work. Funding an inmate is a very important thing to do. I am very frustrated with this terrible app! I pay good money. Ripoff.

well I'm very skeptical and after all this time you people have not upgraded this app I think that's foul I think it's evil I hate to be a judge of things but I think it's a use of people cuz an act like this is relied upon necessary convenient and doesn't make any sense for so many people talk about the hard time they have in communicating with their loved ones or whatever and they spend money I hope I don't have the problem I don't even really want to try it cuz I don't have money like that

Although texting works, voice calls are low quality with a lot of repeated words and video calls are difficult to connect, requiring multiple attempts if a connection works at all. Unfortunately there is no choice of communication provider so if your loved one is in a facility where Reliance is the provider, I'm sorry for you.

🛑 This app is a piece of *#%&! cant get it to work at all!! I just downloaded it, ive tried at least 10-12 times & nothing at all,no video,no audio, nothing! The only good thing about it is the HOPE u have to see ur loved one before you even download it, after that, well ur hopes go right down the drain along with this p.o.s. app! 🚮 👎👎👎

This app needs some serious improvements. $5 per time connection, and I've maybe had one video call go for a solid 5min. out of 20min. But it's still so worth seeing a loved one. plus it saves on the drive as well, only to have a video visit anyways.
