the ads are out of freaking control. had to watch the video twice and sit there for over a minute before a little x finally popped up too close the add... and that was just to get to the flipping home screen!!! I go to edit a pic and now I have to watch another ad! Bruh, I sure as hell am not going to pay for your app if I can't even play around with it first.
Y'all have taken these ads too far. You recognized that you provide a valuable service and took advantage of that and now the app is basically unusable. I had to sit through three 30-second ads because I clicked on an image, clicked "enhance," and it just didn't do anything three times. Then you need to watch an ad to download the image you just watched an ad to enhance! Beyond ridiculous.
it's good at enhancing photos, but the ads are annoying. One ad for opening the app, one ad for enhancing, and one ad for saving the picture. Also, I'm very glad they remove the feature where you have to pay to remove their "fixed lighting". I couldn't use the app for a while because they're fixed lighting usually just whitewashed the models put into the program. Like, not even joking. Nothing else would change but their skin color. Good program all being said.
The free version used to give you a few ads before and after working on each pic. Now it's so full of ads that are increasingly harder to get passed, that it's not worth my time to keep using it. As for the product itself, it still needs to improve the way it deals with hair, hands and sometimes the eyes. As a Photoshop user, I would merely use Remini to aid myself with some issues but I've never used an image enhanced by Remini in full. I just don't love what it does.
I've got to say, the Remini app is a total game-changer! It's an AI-powered photo editing tool that can take your low-quality photos and turn them into stunning, high-definition images. I've seen it work its magic on old, blurry photos, and the results are nothing short of amazing ¹. One of the standout features of Remini is its ability to enhance faces in photos. It can take a blurry, low-resolution image and turn it into a sharp, detailed portrait.
Was good. Not anymore! This app was definitely good for enhancing my photos. But for some reason now, it makes all my photos super bright. Even photos of darkskin, people. Update: I had a plan that allowed me to use both the phone app version as well as the desktop version. When I tried to use the desktop version one day, it told me I needed a business account. Or basically saying if you want to use that portion of Remini now, you have to pay more. LOL, such a joke now and I've found a better.
There are so many things wrong with this app. For one,it takes so long to upload and create your images. Yep, pick the model, and you have to do that one only until you choose the next set, then you have to wait several minutes for it to do that one. The main thing is the price! Can't you just charge a one time flat fee or at the least a monthly LOW fee?! ALSO: After paying for the pro version, I received a message saying you are only allowed to edit up to 6 p pictures per day! SMH!
This app used to be amazing but has become far too expensive to continuously pay WEEKLY. If you want to edit one photo without paying for it, you'll have to watch about 10 minutes of ads. You used to be able to watch two ads (three tops) if you wanted to do one photo, and now it's at least eight to get full control over it. I hope this app goes back to how it used to be since it was perfect, but became a cash grab like all the rest.
I had an account on my old phone, and it worked great! Downloaded the app with the new one and it auto logged me in as anonymous, there was no option to login and I can't seem to login/out now. I had bought several pro enhance credits which I hadn't used, that are still on my old account. It seems you can't buy those anymore at all, and overall they've removed a ton of functionality. The actual enhancing functionality itself is still great.
I cancelled the subscription after the introductory pricing of a dollar or so (week 2) and it continued to charge me full price for a couple of months with nowhere to get a refund! To make it worse, they charge WEEKLY. On top of that, the app only works half the time, takes forever to generate, and never let me use any of the premium features. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.
Don't get this app. It's a scam for money. You'll waste more time watching ads than actually getting what you want out of the app. You can't even edit more than 5 photos a day, and have to pay for a *weekly* subscription if you want more access. But for what? Limited versions of an enchantments that don't even recognize accurate features of your photos? I hope someone else makes a better app for enhancing photos. Remini went way downhill. Sad. I'm convinced anyone leaving a good review is a bot.
The enhancement and filters are some of the best, and I haven't been able to find an app that compares, nor an app that can do both photos and videos, but a $10 weekly subscription to increase the quality of a handful of photos and maybe a short video is ridiculous. I don't care about the dumb ai "turn into a cartoon" or "turn into a doll" features, nor do I care about all the extra filters and what not. I just want to make my camera quality look halfway decent and maybe blur the background. 😭
This used to be a good photo enhancing app where you could watch an ad to enhance a photo. The limited options were even fine. But now? You get stuck in a never-ending ad loop with each ad being over a minute long, and you NEVER actually get to edit a photo. Unless you want to pay $10-$15 A WEEK give this app a hard pass. It is absolutely not worth it. Deleted.
Works great for photo enhancing usually. Although it can be a hit or miss. AI works well too for the many times I used it however, recently I keep getting an error message saying they can't retrieve my photos and have to do it over. It is a little frustrating that I keep having to go back and wait 10-15 minutes for 5 new photos when before it takes a minute and I didn't have to add my photos over and over. Restarting the app, etc. did nothing. I'll change my rating much higher when they fix it.
When you open the app, Remini instantly tries to push you into buying the premium version. Every time you open it. The newest update also changes skin tones (I'm very pale naturally and the newest update darkens me at least three shades- still pale, but not how I actually look) and also adds/changes makeup to the photo with no way of opting out of the "correction." The overall results still look pretty good, but they're a bit skewed.
I used this app b4 & it was OUTSTANDING! Sure, I had to watch an ad or 3 & could only enhance like 3 photos a day,but they look FANTASTIC! NOW, I can't do ANYTHING without picking a subscription. And a LOT of the reviews aren't very flattering. Seems like they want your money & that's that. Free trial SHOULD NOT automatically roll over to subscription. Shouldn't have to give any payment info until AFTER you have a chance to try it. Uninstalling.
My one week trial was AMAZING! I decided to keep going with it. Then, all of a sudden it changed. In 24hrs, it went from wow to what the?? It turns my photos orange, it make eyes too far apart and it no longer adds that crispness to the barely blurry photos. I paid for a week, just to cancel on day 2. 😒 Very disappointed. They offered me another free trial, I took it, but it doesn't do me any good now. Going to Uninstall.
The app works wonders on close-ranged photos and enhancing facial details. However, it only seems to correct what's around the face and leaves the surrounding image blurry. Photos taken from a distance don't look right at all. I would recommend only using this on a photo of one or two people (max!). It gets the job done as long as the image isn't incredibly busy or anything.
Was great - at first. Now? It's turning into junk. They've added ads (l pay monthly and have been for years!) AND now they will no longer keep photos that you've paid to improve. We keep losing features and it's not improving in quality. The images keep getting more and more blurry as it tries to sharpen things. A lot of my images now look worse after using the app... soooo.... There's no way to fine tune the effects. It's all or nothing.
Does a great job at clearing up faces in old and blurry photos. Unfortunately it ONLY does the faces, and everything else is untouched. I'm sure that's a lot harder for an algorithm to fix though, because faces always contain certain things, and backgrounds can be literally anything. It'd also be great if Remini could remove specks and damage, and restore colors. Also, I think the cost is fair, but instead of a subscription, I'd rather just pay a week at a time.
