Remote Control for RokuTV

My remote died, so in the meantime, I paid for this app. Quite frankly, it sucks. Every time you need to change a channel, raise/lower volume or just pause, you have to go through the process of choosing your device and waiting for it to load. Sadly, I found out after paying for this, I could get an actual to my television replacement remote.

I couldn't find my remote so I decided to download this. They had a 7-Day trial period. The night I downloaded it I could not use it I wrote immediately and told them I wanted to cancel it. It was the same night I downloaded it maybe 30 minutes later I wrote the contact us listed on the page. They wrote back to inform me that I could not cancel with them. I had to go into the Google app and download and then cancel it. Very confusing I never give bad reviews, but this is ridiculous!

Trash. It isn't free. Don't download. You cannot control the stupid volume without paying an insane amount. I would be better off buying a whole new remote. Stupid scamming devs. It would be better to make us pay for the app before we download. But no you have to hide the fact you're just trying to take our money. EDIT: Not gonna contact liars. And if you need a good remote just use the actual roku remote app it allows for full control without paying anything.

Could never get it to connect to my TV. I needed the remote because I couldn't find mine. You have to do all this downloading and go to this screen on your TV. I couldn't go anywhere on my TV because I had lost the remote!! Nothing but a power button on the TV. No volume buttons to move to the left or right. I'll try it on another TV but so far not happy. App isn't very user friendly in my option either

This is the worst remote app ever!! It forces a subscription by not being able to use the volume by having to subscribe. And when you do...it not only disconnects from the TV when you push a button but boots you off the whole app and takes you back to the home screen... EVER TIME!! Don't create a pay-for and it is useless. You're getting paid even if the app is deleted. What a mess.

Guys don't download!! If you need a remote go to the real roku mobile App which is free this app is not working. I want to contact them and when I press on said option through the app it just opens up an email w no email for them. It cost 24 a year and still doesn't work. I want my refund!!! When I tried to cancel before being chsrged it kept telling me no subscription is found. I will be going to the bank to file a report and get my money back😡😡😡

Doesnt work. Waste of money. The app DID connect to my TV. Its the only tv on the wifi and the names matches. However, after connecting, the remote functions do not interact with the TV at all. Cannot move what is selected or power, or volume, or anything at all.

It keeps disconnecting.I don't understand why it's on the same wireless network as my phone and my TV keeps getting screwed up. I'll touch the button and it says, oh, we've our settings have changed. You have to hit the home on your remote. Well, I'm using this app. Because my remote is messed up. It seems to be stuck on something, and none of the buttons are stuck. So I don't know what the problem is , but this app SUCKS!

the more I use it the worse it gets so yes this app remote works a lot better than the Roku remote that came with my brand new TV. however if your TV is off the app Remote will not turn your TV on. also if you are watching TV and your phone goes to sleep you have to reopen the app let it find your TV again and then you can use it and then the ultimate downside is it cost $5 a month. no way cancel app

annoying as hell I have to pay $25 just to use the features that already go with the TV I bought. it has ads that say "required update" to make it look like Roku app needs update but it's really another app trying to get you to download. pip ups every 12 seconds. you would think this was a freaking pay to play game

Horrible , I have to install it and uninstall it every day to get it to work. once it's installed, it only works for an hour or two, and then I have to reprogramming it all over again. Also, i can never turn the TV off OR ON with my phone, I have to get up and press the button underneath to actually get it to connect to the wifi.

Basically worthless. most buttons don't work at all. spams with adds, and can't even actually test it out. edit: pointless to purchase an upgrade if it doesn't work in the first place. can't even test that it actually works.

They're tripping hardcore. Expect people to pay 20 dollars plus tax a month just to turn the volume up. I know people in the world have said and done ridiculous things, but expecting people to pay 20 dollars to turn the volume up, that's very ridiculous. I'll use the button on the flat screen 📺 for free.

SCAM doesn't work plus the offical app is free. It won't find my device spent hours and hours it found it once than lost connection app is terrible paid for garbage. did not work for my Roku Ultra so this app is Ultra useless. use the official Roku app that actually works and is free. not some third party scam.

you have to pay a subscription for this app. you can't even use it as a backup roku remote if your's battery dies, this is ridiculous. what nutcase is going to subscribe to use a remote for their tv.

What should be a free app to control the device or TV that you paid for costs $20 per year. That's more than I paid for the device itself. This app should come bundled for free. Ridiculous

Will never buy a roku tv again. Remote affects all roku tvs in range. "Suggested fix"- use app *Downloads App* *Goes through bs setup* *Presses volume button in app* - Pay to use *Presses power button in app* - Pay to use. What kind of scam bs is this??

It seems to find my TV but the remote screen pops up then everything goes black. Only way to bring it back up is to disconnect from the TV which makes the app useless for me.

This app helped me get out of a pickel, picked up my remote noticed it wasn't working pulled the battery cover off and found a bunch of acid so much so it cooked my remote. this got me by for a few days till I was able to buy another roku for my TV.

Was easy to use and worked fine. But having problems trying to cancel it after I bought two new remotes. $4.99 auto deduct per month. Update 1 month later, still trying to cancel the app.
