Remote for LG Smart TV

This app works okay. The problem lies in the ads. It creates an issue when you attempt to rewind or fast-forward the movie/show, and an ad decides to pop up. It keeps rewinding when the ad pops up WAY past where you're trying to go. But it's free for that version, so I guess I can't complain too much. It's useful when your kids always lose the remote or in my case break it.

good app except for just when I would get the TV up and running the remote would go in to ads.

I've tried 100's of different apps for my tv and this is by far the best one.

Been using for a few years now and all is well,better than the plastic remote that comes with tv. I either dropped or it fell on the hard floor so many times that it literally fell apart. Try using the TV button for all the functions and you will freak the F out. My one and only suggestion is to move the exit button. Having right below the right arrow, it sometimes gets hit unintentionally and then I'm on few minute mission to get back where I was. 99/100. Just my current opinion.

Bad so many ads. Ruins it. Don't download, it's a waste of time. You can't even use the remote without there being a 30 second advert talking about absolute NONSENSE. 30 seconds of YOUR life you'll never get back by the way. Crazy how I just wasted 30 seconds or more of my time typing this lol. But ig it's good to tell others rather than let them experience it. Cuz it's useless.

Miles better than the first party LG remote. Don't need to use two modes, no complicated buttons and a really easy to use controller. But the problem is the ads; They are everywhere. It gets annoying. And yes I feel like the subscription shouldn't be nessesarey.

I Do Not recommended. Very Frustrating app! Dont swipe to the right otherwise you get the Premium upgrade ad which completely prevents use of remote. Have to exit remote app often to get away from the Premium upgrade ad. Other ads pop up continuously, dont ever try to use the remote without checking screen for ads. No TV guide button. It appears the developer is more focused on getting money from ppl clicking on ads or hoping they'll have a better experience if they pay for the premium version.

I would never download this app if I didn't have to wait a day for the new remote. Utter garbage. Ads every 10 seconds that take you to 300 websites when you have to click the "x" to get out out of the ad. I can understand an and here or there as this is free but absolutely ridiculous. Buy a Samsung TV. We have one in the living room and use their smart remote app for free with NO ADS! App is garbage, Samsung tvs are the way to go.

This app is okay I guess and it's easy to use it would be better if it was free but I guess 17 bucks is a little steep for something that could be free or a little less I will happily add to the body count but this app is however easy to use a child could use it so in other words I give it five stars because this app was unbelievably quick it said itself up to my TV and was easy to setup and to use fast and simple to use & WILL update ASAP.

This works for me, except I can't "click" the option I'm hovering over with the cursor from the "interaction" screen. I can move the cursor just as with the magic remote, but since I can't select the option I want it's useless. The app is visually appealing, but the implementation of some of the features is half baked. No reply to email :(

If you are wanting this app to be able to use the keyboard or mouse pad IT COSTS $6.99 (The mouse pad is free on the actual LG Smart Tv remote) or to get rid of the 10 million ads that pop up all the time regardless of what your doing IT WILL COST $6.99AUD This app is worth $0.99 as 99 percent of the features including the pro version ones are on the free apps all over the place. The only thing you would actually use in the pro version is the keyboard. For $1.55 you can buy a wireless keyboard

This Lg remote works 10X better than the official lg thinkq app remote! Using the official lg app on my phone i had to deal with daily disconnection issues as well as a huge button response delay but not with this app! You dont even have to make a account. Its super easy to set up. Only 2 downsides is to get some features like the remote keyboard and app buttons you have to pay a small $10 yearly fee and there is no mic button. But ill happily pay $10 yearly for a way better phone tv remote!

Tried 10 already and one of them was a phishing attack! I was scared and shocked. It was a trick. Not this one, but it was very much a trick on other ones! Be careful! 😭😭

You must get the premium remote access to avoid the annoying all-to-frequent ad interruptions. One tap on the virtual remote, without the premium plan, triggers an ad. Ugh!!! With the premium remote access is ad free!

Very good one of the better ones but I'm not paying £8.99 for a years use be better off buying a new remote if it was £8.99 as a one off price it be worth every penny otherwise all round good app the adverts only appear ever 10-15 times u use the buttons and they only last about ten seconds

It was working when I first downloaded and within 2 hours of use it now won't find the tv. Then when it does find the tv the advertising stops you from using it forcing you to back out of app to find that it won't work again. Then you get it to work then advertising blocks you from pushing any button so you back out again then it don't find tv. Sign back in to get advertising again. Stop being greedy with the advertising and fix your app.

So many ads that I can't even watch anything because I can't get to anywhere I want to watch. 2 clicks and there's an ad that you can't click x on so now my screen goes back to where it was and repeat all over again. This remote is trash unless you pay for it without ads and even then...its probably trash 🙄

Fantastic app. Better than the remote control that came with the TV except not having a voice input. I tried several LG remote apps and they all fail my new OLED 77inch. Wish I knew how to add something to the favorites button.
