Works great for what I need. Has a little ad bar at top of screen but no pop-ups and I've never bumped it or had a problem with it. Would recommend if your looking for a simple mouse and keyboard for convenience. I also noticed in the reviews some people were having issues connecting to a devices. I've found a little work around. Connect to the app from the device not the device from app. Then when reconnecting to a previous device select it threw history under the + beside select computer.
Changing my review to a one star. Even having the pro version, this only ever connects properly to my pc 10% of the time. The QR code feature is completely useless. Even if my pc is literally showing on the app as connectable, it will not connect. don't waste your money getting the pro subscription, even if it is only $2, it's not worth it for a broken app.
I will say I did spend the 25ish dollars on the pro but that's because I like the base product that much though the free version is fine but I can't remember how many ads were in the free version so take that with a grain of salt, but it does what it says on the tin you wanna watch youtube or Netflix or what have you on your computer without needing a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse? this is what you want.
It's easy to learn, quick to connect and has some cool features. I'd like to give it 5 stars, but I'm so sick of the "long press to activate right-click" turning on like every 30 minutes. I tend to hover my thumb near my phone screen, and to have the right-click screen pop up every few seconds right after turning off the option is so annoying. But, for $1.25 a month you really can't beat it.
The app works, but they charge you to use it in landacape mode which is just laughable. if i didn't already pay for some of the features i would switch to something else, greedy. Edit- they've added a subscription version after I made this review, they're incredibly greedy. After multiple days of not working after years of working, I made the switch to the Bluetooth mouse app, which i recommend. I was going to try wifi mouse, but they force you to let traffic through your computer, hard pass.
Genuinely don't know why this app gets bad ratings for the amount it does for free. I will admit that the typing is buggy and needs fixing. And the dragging feature doesn't work. BUT if you need a very simple mouse that can point, click, and scroll, this thing is perfect. No obtrusive ads, just a small banner at the top. Very customizable options for the mouse. Works great with my Mac.
One minute the app works great, then the cursor becomes nonresponsive. Look down and the phone half of the app is on a screen trying to sell subscriptions to the paid version. It would be fine if it happened once at the beginning of each session, but it happens at random times. Maybe once, sometimes over and over. It's annoying enough to convince me to never buy the paid version, and I will begin looking at other options shortly.
EDIT: The app just updated this morning and now it won't connect to my PC. So now the app just doesn't work at all. What a piece of garbage. Good for what it does, but it constantly bugs out and stops working. If I don't use the app for like 10 minutes it does nothing when I go back to it. When this happens, I can't even disconnect and reconnect; I have to close the app entirely and relaunch it. Really annoying. Seems like something that should not happen. At least let me reconnect, not force me to close the whole app.
Works amazingly! but pricing is odd. to get the app on your computer, you have to visit their website which isn't a problem. the site is nice and easy to navigate and setup between interfaces is beautifully easy. however, to get some features I was most excited about like web and media control sneak up on you as in app purchases. and not just one. Three or so different purchases for different features including a separate purchase to remove adds. Just make one charge to go premium
It does several things that are useful to me and has a couple of drawbacks. I can't recall any problems with the keyboard, and the touchpad mostly works for me. For some reason I'm having problems dragging. Bluetooth doesn't work for my USB BT adapter. It chooses the IP addresses from my virtualization networks instead of my Ethernet and wifi. The lifetime price is more than reasonable.
I tried many remote mouse apps. I bought the premium version. I saw on some other reviews that people said they are paying a monthly subscription, i paid only one time for a life subscription. I'm not sure why they paying monthly. This by far the best app I used. There is a lot of useful features that make your life easier to use your computer from your phone.
Alright, genuine question for your engineers over there....in order to use your app you must first download software onto your PC from the website, fine. But why would you then make a website that is not able to be navigated purely through keyboard (tab etc)?? I forgot my mouse at the office, and that's the whole reason I needed your app, but you need a mouse just to use your website....lol brilliant. Fix that. It's easy.
I really enjoy this app and it has made things much easier for college classes, performing my job and even in my free time. Connecting my phone to my laptop and using the phone screen as a trackpad was a simple set. Another great feature is the remote keyboard. I can use my phones keyboard to type on my laptop. I have 2 kids and and my keyboard always woke them at night. Using this feature is silent so my kids don't wake up while I'm typing on my laptop now!
It is the only app that I could actually get to work. I've been looking (and dreaming) for years for an app like this, and now I've finally found it. My old wireless physical keyboard and mouse connected through Bluetooth would not connect very well (even close range), and I could not control it hardly at all. It would be very jittery and erratic. The mouse cursor would barely move and I was having a lot of un responsive key presses on the keyboard. This app fixed all of these problems.
I've been using this app since it came out when it was free. I loved it so much that I paid for a one time fee. A few years ago I remember seeing that some new features had changed and required a subscription for features I didn't use. I was happy with what I purchased and the app has been working perfectly until a few days ago. It doesn't even work on wifi anymore.I can see my PC in available connections and just won't connect. Im not paying again for a subscription - definitely not worth it.
The application works just like you'd think it should, with a few exceptions. The client crashes occasionally on my PC, so I have to get up and restart it. Additionally, the media remote functions are completely and utterly dumb, they have not worked for a single media player I have used. What media player was it designed for? Lastly, and not as important is that there is no way to control both sensitivity and acceleration reliably.
This is a fantastic app. As a physically disabled individual who is unable to use a keyboard, this is a must. I'm assuming it's from Samsung's latest OS update but on my S21+ I'm getting a black screen of death from the remote mouse when it connects to my PC. If you are able to, please fix this. I will give this tool 4 stars. Thank you for creating it, it's an absolute save for people in a circumstance such as mine.
I've been using the free version for a while now, and it does exactly what it's supposed to! Other than minor connection glitches which rarely happen twice in a row, it links seamlessly with the computer, gives me a multifunctional mouse from anywhere! GREAT when you use your PC/laptop for streaming, as I do. All in all, the free features are MORE than enough for the casual user. The ads are a passive banner at the top of the screen, and not intrusive at all! More if/when I upgrade!
Was actually pleasantly surprised how well it works. At first, figured it was gonna be total bunk cause if it looks too good to be true it probably is. but it actually links up with my laptop really well so it just saved me a bit of cash cause now I don't need to go buy another Roku or a Chromecast or some other third thing. Kinda wish the other functions didn't need to be purchased, but that's just cause I'm cheap. I'll still buy em anyway cause it's still less than a Roku or Chromecast or blah
After about 4 years of using this app faithfully, I'm going to find a new one. It's been months now that I've been trying to use the keyboard, and for some reason, it refuses to work. I've reset to default, uninstalled and reinstalled, tightened my phone off then back on, made sure there were no updates that I needed to take care of. Nothing has worked to get the keyboard back on track, and I'm so frustrated that I'm done trying. The actual mouse features work great, though.
