Ir offers ticket prices that are not available when you are about to pay (the ones available are more expensive...) It gives continued errors. It doesn't synchronized the the calendar when your calendar in a different place, so when I select a certain date, it brings me back to a previous day... A disaster...There is a lot room to improve.

Great! Had to cancel my trip as there's a strike. My normal ticket wouldn't allow free cancellation and reimbursement, but this was an exceptional case. Cancelled my trip through the app and got the money back on my account immediately. A nice improvement would be: a notification or banner that my conditions for cancellation had changed.. I would have felt more confident clicking the cancel button.

¡MADRE MIA! First of all. To buy a single ticket you need to get all the information as if you were trying to fly out of Schengen. It's slow, difficult to navigate and doesn't remember your choices. I was 20 minutes early at the train station. No chance to buy a ticket. You first need a registration which needs your ID. that's okay, but while trying my ID card from a European country it didn't want to accept it. Then it got stuck 2 times on payment. It's easier to start a rocket to the moon.

First, I don't post reviews on apps. But this app is unacceptably buggy, and therefore useless. It will not allow me to enter my USA phone number, it says "incorrect format" regardless of how it is entered. The scheduling portion of the app always sets the date back a day from what I select, and then I cannot purchase a ticket because it rejects my phone number (as I already mentioned). Does this app represent the national train service for Spain?

Poorly written and poorly supported by back-end. When enter USA phone number, it complains on invalid format instead of displaying placeholders. Even if you chose English, it still translates only portion of displayed text. In some places it is too laconic. It may not find existing ticket by its number.

When trying to book a ticket the app asks for a phone number but you cannot use a UK number for instance, or any number longer than 9 digits (Spanish standard). There is however an option to change the prefix but this is completely pointless if your number isn't accepted! And you CAN'T book a ticket unless providing a phone number - how about making the email address compulsory instead? You can use this app to check timetables but it's useless for its main purpose, which is buying tickets.

Scanning tickets in the app finds departure station as incorrect, which makes usage of this app totally useless. Calling support at Renfe confirmed the problem, and advised on usage of printed in paper tickets. Welcome back to 20th century

very very bad! I had to register like a thousand times ! registration is laborious it never accepted my ID number or Passport number. After few tries I was finally registered ( it only took few days!) then when I tried to book it said my phone number is invalid. So I tried the website where it said that there are no available trips on that date! so I used the app again with a made up number as Gemini suggested and it worked. they gave me a voucher for discount but it wasn't accepted!!!

This might be one of the worst app I have ever used. For some reason the keyboard within the app is extremely sluggish which leads you to make constant spelling mistakes. The maximum password length is 16 characters but doesn't warn you about it, it just cuts off your password length. Besides the app just being quite slow overall and the information it provides is very lackluster. Thus a fairly useless app seemingly made by amateurs.

Absolute scam - be aware that the app only lets you buy tickets for the more expensive trains. (Media distancia etc) An absolute scam. Do not use this, just buy the tickets from the machines in the stations. It's cheaper and easier.

Can't register without a mobile number, and app doesn't accept the format of UK numbers. Pathetic.

Won't accept a foreign phone number when entering traveller details so the app is essentially useless for foreign travellers.

It is so bad that I want to give it a zero, but that's not possible. So, I'll give it a one. The organisation, if existent at all, is horrendous. The departure and arrival locations on the tickets were mismatched in the app as opposed to the web browser. My name was not only misspelt but the wrong word in its entirety??? Despite using the same email and password upon registration, I was unable to sign up in the app or set back my password. I can't believe I'm saying this, but it's worse than DB.

One of the worst apps I have ever used probably. Renfe's servers are so limited they have to impose a queue which can mean 15 minutes of wait time before you can buy a ticket. If you manage to complete payment at all. I could pay with my bank card as the app would time out before I complete the verification, and it wouldn't let me login to PayPal either. Not to mention that once entered, you cannot change you personal details. I had to switch to the browser version to buy a ticket in the end.

Warming, using the app could cost you a lot of money. When booking a ticket and you select the travel date, the app will use the previous day, not the one you selected. This can result in purchasing tickets that you then need to cancel. There's lots of bugs in the app. The quality is very low, makes you wonder if they can be trusted to operate trains at high speed.

Absurdly inefficient and complex app to buy train tickets. It asks you a ton of info useless and wasting time when you are rushing to board a train. Name, surname, second surname, ID card or passport data, email l, phone, etc. Only it does not ask you the second name of your grandpa 🤦🏻‍♀️. Also, it does not connect automatically with your bank app, so you have to insert twice your card data to then enter again the authorization to pay.

A few annoying bugs. Let's you book a train, through to confirming payment with your bank/card provider, then tells you there are no seats available at the last second 🤦‍♂️ If you save a passenger as a Frequent Traveller it creates a brand new entry (despite same name and passport number). Even for saved Frequent Travellers, it defaults your phone number prefix to Spain, so your mobile number gets truncated until you select +44 I know nobody tests software anymore, so I'm not really surprised.

Useless for non Spanish phone number users. why on earth you need all these details to sell simple train tickets?
