I am a returning customer and I have to say that RAC, is the best way to have items at a low cost. The staff by my local center is always available to answer questions and always call to make me aware of any discounts or new items that become available. Definitely recommend to any one who is on a budget. The app is also easy to navigate and easier to use . And RAC delivers so thats a win FOR FREE..
Convenience at a price of sanity. I've been a customer for years now. I only agree to what I can afford at that time. I get calls and texts all the time asking if I needed any other products. When I ask to stop they don't stop. Now I'm two payments away from owning my latest items and the app won't give me my correct account information. I can't see my local store, my payment information or anything. Between the unwanted calls, texts and now the app, I'm done with the company this time.
The app used to be great. Was able to pay on the app with no issues. Now can't even see the balance on items that I'm paying for. And now I get told that the company is auto pay only on all new accounts. My wife and I have been loyal customers for years and have paid off multiple items. At this rate we won't be doing anymore business with them once our items are paid off. Said to say, I feel they have forgotten their customers and what made them a company to enjoy doing business with.
Just downloaded the app didn't know they had one. I Rate the store Manager Tony in Mccomb, MS a 5⭐ , and Cass they have excellent customer service 💯 . However I have an issue with the unwanted phone calls I get when I'm not late. They call it reminders. Sometimes the app can be confusing. But overall. I'd recommend rent a center for all household furnishings for ppl who can't afford to pay full price at one time.
Absolutely the most horrible customer service experience I've ever had. The first item I've ordered, as a returning customer, was delayed for a month. The automated system is sub par at best. You get a bot sending messages all to tell you that they set up a phone appointment with your local store. The call never comes. Finally I received my item with more sun par service. They actually dropped the TV while I was filling out the paperwork....and so much more...
All the items I purchased are quality goods and services are wonderful. They will work with you in financial difficulties as long as you keep them informed. We all have a job to do, keep in mind, policies are still in order..meaning they will work with you as long as they can but as time goes by w/out pymt they may ask for some type of pymt to keep the acct active, if not, They can also hold item(s) until pymts made. Highly recommended for top of the line merchandise. Go see for yourself!! 😉
Bad business, was in treatment and missed a payment. After using their "insurance " they charged an additional $400 and after spending $1200 on a used laptop they came and took it with only a few payments left. You'd think they'd work with you after having been loyal customers for several years and spending thousands with them. But instead they're busy worrying about their own Gain. They're going to turn around and resell the same laptop and get another $1200. Crooked!!!
If my payment of $145 isn't due til Saturday and I wanna pay $95 on Thursday...that should be possible. There is no way to just add an amount to pay. It's the whole thing or nothing at all. You commented on my last review giving me a number to call to explain what your app needs. Your customers CLEARLY tell you repeatedly the issues with your app. Read your reviews and LISTEN to them. This app needs a makeover completely.
I like the app I just don't like that u can not choose an amount that you want to pay on your account/bill, it makes u pay the full amount and sometimes people don't have the full amount but want to be able to pay something so the phone calls that come every single day will decrease atleast to maybe like once a week, but you don't have that option on the app.
So far it is reliable, will know more at ending payment. Update: Finalized payment, smooth exit. So far haven't heard of any problem with product, was a given gift. It works fine. It was just mentioned by recipient that the lock feature didn't allow them to add fabric softener. Thank You Rent-A-Center. I didn't have app, ordered over phone, the app came later, but I didn't have trouble with app.
This app is great! Easy to use, pay on your rental, weekly coupons- promotions, browse Renter-A-Centers MASSIVE inventory, and so much more! With my terminal illness I'm on a fixed income and needing certain items I can't afford upfront. So rent a center has helped me achieve a quality of life I didn't think was possible. I will always be a customer for the outstanding help I've received.
This app is awesome simply because it allows us to make purchases and payments !!!! I give them 5 stars but 10 would be much more appropriate ! I only wish and don't get me wrong this is a wish only ,that we could make double payments online and or better yet If we want to pay any amount over the actual payment amount we could! Now that we would be a welcomed bonus indeed ! But I love this company and have been with them some time now and I've had nothing but the very best customer service (.)
I mean, its essentially a last resort. Often times you aren't getting new yet paying double and triple the amount of new. They think just because its on display in the store and not rented prior are new. ,like tvs that are on 10 hours a day 6 days a week are not new products and shouldn't be even close to the same total cost. Don't be even a day late. And they don't go out of their way to do anything for you special so keep that in mind. Pay your bills and keep your credit good.
I Ordered from the app (3rd time) A dishwasher and fridge bundle( 1 penny down etc As a birthday present to self. I get a call from the store. Some kid repeatedly try to disway me from bundling then the price he quoted was like 40-60 dollars more than the app. As I read from the screen he replied " I'd like to know where your getting that from .on, an on. I pay monthly. That is what was calculated BY THE APP. he insisted on using py weekly finally I had enought and bought nothing. Part#1
very scam like! not transparent business. they make it sound so easy to use so i dont have to go in and mske payments in the store. not true. the app only let's you make minimum payments so if you want to pay ahead of schedule to meet the "same as cash" deal you have to log in every day to make a small payment. can't schedule ahead payments. Doesn't save your log in info so you have to sign in every time. rent a center is even more scam like than I thought.
I like using Rent A Center for the fact that you can pay off the items so it is the same as cash. What I don't like is that you will get a used item that should be discounted but isn't. The second reason i dont like them is that the item could be something that is now worth 900 dollars, but they use the price of the item when it first come out, so you still have to 1,349 dollars for something that is not worth that much anymore. Other than that, the customer service is excellent.
The new update crashes everytime I try to get on since 8/21/19 so I'm going to be pretty mad if I get charged a late fee. Also you can't pay more than you owe you literally have to wait a whole day to pay again and with someone with a busy life it's kind of frustrating. Also they call you constantly on the same day as your payment is due. And its irritating especially when you are at work. I'd recommend Aaron's they are all around better and they want to work with you.
I had an excellent experience with the Klamath Falls store. I had to have surgery and was going to be out of work, the insurance that is supposed to pay for you while you have things like this, was giving the store manager a,hard time. it's been 2 months and they still were fighting to not pay, the Store manager is really amazing and he got it all taken care of, and both of my items are mine and paid off. thank you so much!!
I pay my bill every week never an issue but can't seem to figure out why they must blow my phone up every week for sales calls after multiple times asking to get taken off even spoke to a corporate office who assured me that I would not be contacted again but hey guess who keeps getting sales calls and told bye the store there is nothing they can do to be taken off the list. it's allmost harassment hate to deal with them if I didn't pay!!!!
Definitely not bad. I wish through the app r a c would let you pay as much as you want as long as it's what's due or more. For instance, if you pay $50 a week for rent, why can't I pay $75 or more to finish my contract early? Doesn't sound very fair. Looks like you want to keep us on the dole.
