Retro Bowl College

This is a great game, it's a real fun way to pass the time. The team edit feature is really great. If I can make a few suggestions. 1st I would make the head coach changeable or retireable after so many seasons. 2nd I would add penalties 3rd add a play clock perhaps give us more players besides 12 so we can rotate players. also it would be nice to be able to create our own conferences. if this would cost a small fee it would be worth it.

This is a wonderful game, I personally find it better than original Retro Bowl, the one issue I have is that the clock is 2x faster than it should which is an issue in the original, all it needs is exhibition, a full transfer portal and good jerseys and it'd be one of the best sports games. Also, there customer service is really good, I've reached out a couple times and they've always answered my questions within at least a day.

fun game. like the pro version but college. only 2 things bug me and I wish they would get fixed/added. first is i dont understand why I keep getting the "player didnt play well" option at the end of a game that I won. if I lose let's focus on that but if I win can we focus on the players that did well? second the pro game has a free agent option. in the college option I'd like to see that but with the transfer portal.

great game! this game is a perfect game to play, especially offline. I prefer this to the retro bowl pro because it is a little more difficult. I love how all the teams are there. it's a great breath of fresh air because you can be totally free to play and have a blast. hardly any ads, and all the ads aren't even annoying. if you did want to pay the tiny 99¢ to get kickoff returns, and the team editor it would be well worth your money, especially to support the devs so they can add great stuff.

This is a really fun game, but there are a few issues that if addressed would probably make the game better. I Think that if yu could play defense instead of just simulating through the other teams possessions, it would add even more to the experience. I also think that there should be a penalty system that makes the plays less set in stone. I understand that this might take away the "Retro" vibe, but I think that it would make a lot of people happy.

I have paid for and played this game for a long time. It's one that I keep coming back to when I have a few minutes to kill. Unfortunately it seems this last update introduced a few things: an error that crashes the game when you try to punt, broken OT logic, and (thankfully so far just one) ad. wasn't sure how to contact for feedback outside of the review process.

Great game. Just as good as the original. Need to add the ability to sim games like the original version. One thing that needs fixed on both versions...the computer almost never gets caught if they intercept the ball in the clear and have a long way to the end zone, but if I throw a wide open pass route, my WR will eventually get caught no matter what his speed (depending on the distance to the end zone). Stamina should not diminish that quickly over 1 play.

I believe that this is a good game, with a solid basis to improve. One idea I have that I believe will improve the experience tremendously is the ability to have a small amount of players who have "focused training" each and every week with more stress on fatigue or condition loss. That way you can progress some of the people that you don't utilize as well while playing the games, themselves. A second thing I think that could be a good thing to try and implement is a "transfer portal" style idea

The gameplay is as fun as the original Retro Bowl, and they've added some unique college aspects to the game. However, the game has an overwhelming amount of negative mini-events that far outweigh the positive events, encouraging micro transactions to obtain coins to pay to keep your players' GPA and morale high. Additionally, many of the team colors are considerably off and it took quite a while to make them correct. Overall, this version of the game has a much more cash-grab feel to it.

The game is a fun little time-killer, even now I've played through something like 14 seasons. It's about as good as the original, my only complaints would be the lack of simming games and the grind of keeping the grades up, it's not something that fluctuates, it's like their grades go down no matter who they are. Still, fun times, just needs some tweaks.

I absolutely love both retro bowl games! It is a very accurate experience! I have a few ideas for upgrades tho. I kinda wish that when you are tackled inbounds the clock don't stop. It would add the suspense and everything. I also wish there was a period in the off-season where the players make improvements like on ncaa 14. Overall best mobile football games ever!

This game would be amazing with a couple of improvements. First, the difficulty settings need to be improved. Hard is too easy and extreme is no fun because every team has 5 stars. Which is nothing like actual college football. Second, the defense needs to be randomized. If you play enough, you quickly memorize what to do for each play. This game would be so much better with those inprovements.

Such a fun game. I love the dynamic difficulty. I'm not sure the free version even has ads but if it does, they're few and far in between. I think playable defense would be possible. You could have the user select one of three plays and then watch the defense simulate the play. That would make investing in the defense more fun since you can watch your players in action.

Amazing game! I like it more than the OG retro bowl because it's harder to build and keep a good team, and you can't just spend coach credits and build an overpowered team. Two things I really really hope they add in the future is the ability to sim games, and most of all, exhibition games, I think I speak for everyone when I say that an exhibition in retro bowl college with over 100 teams would be amazing!!!

Love it! Been wanting new content for RB but got a whole new great game instead with colleges. It'd be nice to see the list of available teams growing as well in the future. Plenty of options though. Also, the team colors aren't super accurate for all teams. Like the gamecocks are garnet and black not bright red and white. But with team editor I can fix it haha for all the teams though. Whew.

I'd give it ten stars if I could.. mobile games aren't made like they used to, nowadays they're pay to win half the time or even pay to play! Not with this game. Sure, there's an option to pay, but it doesn't help a ton. I recommend unlocking the full version to help out the devs plus it unlocks some decent features like edit team and conference names. Oh and did I mention it's a free game with 0 ads!! Couldn't ask for a better mobile game!

Plays quite similar to the original retrobowl, which means it's a fun time waster. However, it feels like they gave defenders magnet hands in this game. No matter how perfect your throw is, if there is a defender anywhere near your receiver they will intercept the vast majority of the time. Going for long or precise passes just isn't worth the risk, which leads to the majority of your plays being running the ball or short quick throws. It makes the gameplay feel much more restricted.

I love playing this game, super engaging and fun to make progress. Something that i wish was possible is for the teams to be able to be invited to other conferences once they've won the conference championship a few times to make it more challenging. Being able to play on defense is something i wish you could do, I'd even be okay paying for that. I also wish you could sim games like in the original. Just my opinion, great game though

Fun game with a huge variety of teams to choose from. Plays pretty much identically to retro bowl so if you like that, you'll like this. I would like to see some more additions to gameplay. I also think the GPA and player morale values need tweaking. It is very difficult for me to earn CC because my players are constantly getting suspended for bad grades. My players are also constantly have poor attitudes. I can't really afford upgrades with the way the game is balanced right now.

Love this game just like the original but it does feel like some things didn't translate well. random events are way too negative. I've played 40 games and seen 1 or 2 events with a positive outcome for morale. Need to add more of those. college kickers don't hit 55-63 yarders consistently. That didn't get tweaked and it shows. Kicking should be much harder for both teams. rankings are all over the place. Need more difficulty customization. Hard to extreme gap is wild.
