Rightmove Property Search

This is a really lovely app for finding properties, but I wish they would add a feature to it: I wish they would add a notes section where you can make a note on the properties you've saved. This would be a note only you can see. "Rang them. Property no longer available. " "Viewing Tuesday at 2" "Conservatory, but no pets allowed." That would be really helpful.

Its a really good app thats nice to use but one letdown is the distance checker. I've set the search to five miles from my chosen location but it will still show me properties that are eight or eleven miles away. Doesn't make sense. But apart from that, it is a really good app. Would recommend.

Generally it's easy enough to use but it's a shame it only saves the 3 most recent searches instead of the previous 5 like it used to. Don't like that you can't save a search if you untick a house type (e.g., you aren't interested in terraced so only want detached/semi-detached to come up) or that 'parking' includes properties with paid/ street parking. Also refuses to remove properties from lists you've made no matter how many times you try to unsave them which is very annoying and not helpful.

Whether I select a radius of 1 mile or 40 miles, it still only shows a 1 mile radius. The app is so outdated. There's hardly any filters for filtering garden size, amount of parking spaces or garages, city or rural properties. It's still easier to go to physical estate agents to find what I'm looking for.

Downloaded app as been using browser version up to now. My drawn areas are not in the app and no way of recreating them? I see no point in downloading the app if it doesn't retain the features of the browser version. Going to uninstall and continue with the browser version. Sort it out rightmove!

a pain in the neck, the draw tool is finicky, can't base it on travel time and there's no way to remove search results so you'll be perpetually wasting time on results you didn't want to see. yes you can memorise every location on the map but It still wastes loading time when you misclick on one of the worthless properties. saving areas requires a work around, forcing you to logg onto the website, save the area and then save it as a search because of course the app doesn't work...

was great ... why do they constantly change the format.. was able to put in keywords in the search, and the properties were then displayed in order of what you want ... now the keywords seem to not work properly . Tried multiple times to put into the 3 item list of keywords.. none work .. STOP CHANGING GOOD APPS and making them less user friendly. If its not broke don't fix it was a great app b4 .. now frustrating 😑 update ... six months later and nothing changed . keywords are a waste of time

Can't save searches with Don't show student accommodation enabled. Not sure why that's the case, I'm not a student so I don't want to be looking at their accommodation.

when I filter the price range it shows the house only at the higher limit. can you sort this out immediately please ? note: this is happening in android mobile

Many improvements to be made here. Houses you saved 5 years ago that were sold will remain on your saved list, leaving you with a tonne of houses on your saved list! (I know how to remove them but you have to do so individually) There's an option to exclude newer homes but newer houses still show up in your results. No option to exclude certain areas when searching a radius.

My alerts have stopped working. I suspected it might be a Hotmail thing, so I changed the app settings to my Gmail address but still no joy. I've played with the app settings as much as I can, but still no daily property alerts from my 2 saved searches.

Completely unusable. It's never been the most stable of apps, crashing quite often. However this week it has failed to return any searches, or when it does it won't let you select and view any properties. Just a message saying "oops". Will be switching to Zoopla, which works fine. They both do the same thing anyway, might as well install one that works.

Was better and could be improved. The top 5 recent searches has been removed which is very annoying as I used this feature multiple times a day. Also, why can't the price history be added just like some chrome extension??

Good app! But it's missing an added comment at the property, use for other people who want to know about issues...

Why can I only save a search if Student Accommodation is ticked? I am neither a student nor wanting to live with them. Still no holiday home option, which is disappointing as I raised this back in 2021.

the sign in is tricky. had to change my password. the one time password redirects you not to the app but to the browser, then doesn't work on the app, so you round in a circle until you change your password the old fashioned way.

It works up to an extent. It is not possible to be very accurate as many ads (postings) are not correctly classified meaning you have to wade through hundreds of false adverts to find the ones that fit your criterias. I've been told it's just how it is, they cannot do anything, however, I disagree, you should be able to report false adverts and have repercussions. This would force the agencies to post correctly instead of misleading adverts.

Was fine before they updated the app. Now saved properties doesn't work misses ones out. Don't update the app leave it alone until they fix it. Have sent you all the data 2 weeks ago but it's not fixed. Saved properties just doesn't work anymore. It misses out random ones in the list. You have to keep sorting the list each time to get them back. This didn't happen in the old version.

Most ads are misdescribed and there's no way to report them or force them to change their listing. Most studios advertise as one bedroom flats, which makes searching for a place extremely lengthy since every ad needs to be read in full to understand if it's a studio or not. Also, being able to use the 'Schools Nearby' feature for other things that aren't schools is a no brainer (or simply allow the map link to be opened externally).Terrible user experience..

new update to searches is a pain. I had three "previous searches" I used everyday which can't be "saved searches" due to the number of hits they generate. Now they're gone and I have to input the search criteria every time.
