can't mark items "wstched" on app unless you open them. app and website don't communicate even though I am logged in on both with same login

the app is difficult to navigate. bidding is also challenging, especially when you have multiple items. the timed items on your watchlist don't sync when the timed auction starts.

This app has been junk for years. You open it and click to go the buying area, which opens a new area in the app. If you go to your registered auctions it then opens your browser anyway. What's the point of the app? After the recent August 22 "bug fixes", the app now jams up and won't even bother to load links you click. You guys have more money than some countries, yet can't release an app that works???

The app is garbage. Better to use browser on a laptop. Also make sure you read all the fine details. You be paying much more than your bid amount. Its actually quite criminal. I wont be recommending to anyone and will do my best to detour anyone from using this scam auction company. 10% plus deposit plus transaction fee plus credit card fees. GFY!

It's nice that you can search and watch short clips of vehicles and items. However, you used to be able to bid online through the app, and it appears that you can no longer do that. You have to log into the main site and do it that way, which is rather annoying as the website is not super mobile friendly, and you don't get all the alerts that the app once had.

One suggestion would be to sell the small ticket items last after the bigger machinery. Sometimes I am interested in some tools, etc that are at an auction that is further away from home, but would only bid on it if I win the auction on the bigger equipment. So that way I could get the small ticket items trucked together with the big equipment.

Are they ever going to fix this app. I want to buy some toys to move dirt ;8>]

Pointless app. No possible way to bid on it or view going bids during the auction. The app should have notified me when I got outbid on items I had bid on and it didn't. Everything you do redirects you back to Google Chrome or the internet browser. When you go on Google Chrome separately to look up an upcoming auction, it redirects you to the app only to be redirected to Google Chrome. I wouldn't bother installing this app, just stick to bidding on your internet browser of choice.

For a company that does auctions so we'll, this app is terrible. I have purchased over 20 pieces of equipment from RB since 2008. During the last auction I had such an awful experience I just gave up on three pieces of equipment I was trying to purchase; it's just to cumbersome and odd to transfer between timed and live auction items.

I don't really see the benefit of the app. I was encouraged to download it to easily get notified and navigate bidding on my Android Samsung running the latest software. My first time bidding here and for the life of me there was no way to enter the timed auction using this app. Used my browser on my phone and won the item that way. For my purposes this app is redundant.

Hello, the new search options in the app make it more challenging to navigate. The older way was much easier and simpler. I used to be able to look at the inventory much faster and make my selections. Hope you can change it back.

Worst app I have ever seen. Doesnt show updates on the auctions. Doesnt remind you when your items are coming up or being auctioned. No reminder whatsoever except once the auction is done and it shows you the final results. This whole app and the auction was a waste of time.

Cannot bid on items. Items say "accepting bids" but won't give me an option to bid. Have made purchases and bid on several items in the past with no problems... Reached out to customer service (Jennifer) three times with little response and no solution.

Useless app, doesn't sync with your account. The objects you add in your "watchlist" is not visible in the app. Second, be careful using their services, there is alot off extras, service fees they add in the end so they price is very inflated in the end.

No point in using the app. Ritchie Bros does not support mobile function. Was attempting and watching several items to bid on. Would update on the app when sold but unable to bid. I logged on my laptop when I got home and could see the option. Pointless app if your actually going to bid

Updated the app. Now cannot edit the watchlist to remove old items. Cannot view any items in the watchlist. A network error comes up when trying to view current watchlist items and old items nothing happens. App worked great before the update. Spoke with customer service and they told me I had to edit the watchlist from the website and not the app.

not many bidding numbers on the equipment

It's not just the app but the whole experience ..if you have too much money and you don't mind loosing it or have to struggle for your title go ahead ... I paid for a truck back in may and now it's October and still no title and to make things worse customer service won't even give answer of what's going on

Previously, app wouldn't recognize username/password, uninstalled/reinstalled, now it opens up then immediately closes. Tried reinstalling/rebooting, nada... The app simply has never worked on my Note 8. Follow up, 25 Feb, 2025 just shy of 2 months later, still doesn't work on the Samsung Note 8. C'mon man...

Horrible. Hard to navigate. Iron Planet is much easier. Hours of time trying to place a bid. Customer service is a 50 minute wait time. Still working on placing a bid. Might have to skip this platform. Don't waste your time bidding on this sight.
