go-to app for all things whitewater, really well put together app. very much worth the yearly subscription for premium.
The best river level app out there. Used it in multiple countries and the data availability all in one place in a easily navigable format is unrivalled
I love this app! it let's me gauge the river back channels, when they open and potentially close.
I can no longer receive the trending report. Very hard to tell what the current trend is without it.
Really great app for canoeing or fishing to keep you up to date with river levels and store favourites. You can set alarms which is useful to track river levels however it would be good to be able to set different alarms for different types of situation. Eg if you wanted to use the app to track a river hight for the purpose of potential flooding then it would be useful to have an alarm to wake you up however knowing the river level for prime fishing conditions is less urgent.
Love this app. I am an avid whitewater paddler , river guide and kayak instructor. Water levels are crucial. Before I found this app I had to jump around to many websites to find that information. This app makes it simple. I recommend this app to my fellow employees and paddlers. Only thing I would like to see is precipitation information and water temperature. If this can't be "pulled" from gauge info then maybe just put a link to the gauge site.
A good app. I haven't worked out whether the levels are proportional to the river's maximum, or for kayaking grade. I suspect the former. It would be cool to be able to add notes to the gauges to record what levels you've paddled them at for future reference.
This app has all of sudden stopped working Love the app but it doesn't do an good if it doesn't work
I really wish I could rate this higher, but it's very inconsistent. Sometimes it will not update for days. The way the data is presented is so much easier than the USGS website. If the app worked all the time I would absolutely pay for the premium version.
Amazing keep updating with more detailed and content and also do middle east and Asia we need Asia a lot!! you will be big keep going 💪
Really helpful. Love that I can check depth and flow at my favorite kayak/ fishing locations! This app does have a few errors. But there is a way to message the dev and correct info. My example is that I found a Kentucky River that listed in Ohio on the app. They just needed to correct the nesting tree to make it viewable to a Kentucky search.
This app is amazing for checking on river levels for paddling activities that my family enjoys. I love the quick access to all the gauges I care about in favorites. The map view is great for discovering new gauge locations. I like the alarms feature that gives notifications at my defined river levels and flows. Also, I really enjoy the forecast feature when available, and the brand new seasonal overview is awesome to check for normal historical water levels by month. Keep up the great work! 👍
I paid $6 for a damn river gauge. I really hope you make an udate allowing the mapping out and saving of river routes/trips. Being able to mark out islands/stops on a river, save it and return to that map would be really really nice. Please hire someone that can add this feature for you. Google maps isn't very effective.
Extremely useful, especially if you live or fish next door to a river.
Highly recommend for fisherman and kayak users. I use this to ensure safety before heading out to the water.
easy to use and monitoring river heights as part of your exit plan
Great app for checking river statuses for determining fishing options
great for paddlers. get the paid version! the history is invaluable!
The only real downfall is that I've upgraded to the paid subscription but am only able to see the river forecast on a less then half of gauges and the ft3/s is missing on a small number. I do volunteer disaster response/relief and initially downloaded the app during Hurricane Sally because flooding was a major concern in multiple gulf coast states. While it's easier to utilize then NWS, that's valuable info regardless of the situation. I did find all current gauge info to be up to date.
This app has turned me into a crackhead waiting for the alarms I set on specific water gauges. As soon as a minimum cfs hit I'm notified! I can't recommend this app enough! From river gauges to creeks worldwide they are listed and ready for you to monitor. Gnar not included.
