RK Scanner - Employees

IF or WHEN it works it's nice. 90% of the time you scan something and it says there's no sku found. Or method not allowed. Don't even try printing because it absolutely will make your day miserable trying to use it. Honestly this thing just makes my day more difficult most of the time. Customers ask for a price and they're standing there for several minutes as I keep trying to scan something and it won't work - definitely directly affects customer service.

Great when it works. Makes my job as a stocker MUCH easier, especially since our store has so few of the stores scanners. So glad it can be downloaded again. It makes it much easier to train other employees when we can scan products and there are never enough of the stores scanners to go around to all the employees who need them.

this should be an app for anyone to use for checking prices or availability of items. the stores don't have enough people around as we shop to keep asking employees to use their own phones to do that same thing. In an age where all big stores have an app to check for items and buy online, it seems backward to not make that available especially since the website is terrible for finding and ordering items that aren't in stores.

No reason to withhold a price scanner from the public. This is especially true because so many prices at RK are inaccurate. For example, today 8/21 I bought 3 items at the Jeffersonville RK. Two of the three items rang up with a higher price than the shelf label.

Lovely to have such a convenient app. It's very useful, helpful, and easy to understand. One star rating because associate drains their personal battery down while using this app to assist customers. One star rating because company informs user that they have access to EVERYTHING OF YOURS. They access your personal information, ...non work related,... When you use this app RK can serupticiously mine every single thing you do.

Useful for pricing stuff, but if you need to see the planograms that's when it becomes more than useless, the honeywells aren't always available, and for it to offer the planograms but refuse to show it is the most useless set up ever

Need app for the customer. Items not marked with price or sales item isn't marked. This habit goes on constantly at rural king in Jackson county Illinois. (I know of several associates that will take sale sign down then buy the sales item at end of their shift.) THE CUSTOMER NEEDS AN PRICE APP!!!

Installed the application but when I enter login and password it kicks me back to open application page or kicks m out of it all together. Really irritating cause need it to do my job, so needless to say I can't do my job with this application cause I does not work

Will not let me login, it never wants to scan SKUs. When it does it works well, but it's unreliable. Shocked that they can't even get a simple app to work.

Doesn't work99 percent of time. Stuck on buffing during login wont accept any permission options and or refuses to connect to wifi or internet

As a customer i still have to chase an associate down to find the price on an item that should have had a price on it to begin with because the " associate " didnt do their job to begin with. Hey i worked retail i know that some people are just plain lazy and this tool can actually make them even more irresponsible. By no means am i putty all employees in that class but ive put hundreds of dollars back on the shelf in parkersburg wv that just linger with no price tag or completely out of place

What happened to the app for customers. I used it all the time to plan a list .Now i go elsewhere for what i used to get there. I cant check sales , price ,stock, nothing

Down more often than it works. This app is so useless it might as well be deleted. It's faster to look things up the long way.

Login issues, not fully functional yet. 1-12-21. All permissions need to be enabled to use. A little invasive.

It's good if you know the UPC/SKU or you need to scan something, but it would be great if you could look stuff by keywords like you can in IMU.

rural king needs to create a customer app. it shows the option in play store, but every option I tried brought me to the employee login. just plain ridiculous. get with the program rural king.

Would like to get the app but can’t because it’s not on apple. A lot of people have iPhones and it should be available on apple to.

would be nice if there was a customer app that could be usable to look up, scan barcodes and purchase online and pickup in store or ship

Why is this an employee only app? I understand having a separate login section for employees but provide your customers with access to the app as well. In 2023 I expect better.

This makes my job so much easier we always have our phones on us while we're working and we can be knowledgeable about a product in seconds if customers have questions
