Horrible. It makes you work so much harder to get basic info like trying to zoom in or anything even backing up 1 second. You zoom in and touch the screen it resets the zoom. Try and go back 1 second, resets the zoom. Try and just move your phone in the slightest it auto rotates and resets video. Even moving phone up and down a few inches will make it flip horizontal. Your much better off downloading the video and using 3rd pty player to get the info you need. It's a terrible experience

I downloaded this app as a means of getting videos off of my dashcam and onto my phone quickly in case of an accident, but this app has proven to be anything but quick. It takes a long time (several minutes) to download video to the app from the camera and even longer (ten minutes and counting) to compress video if you want to upload it to Youtube. The app also uses really strange language, which leads me to believe it was developed by people who didn't speak English as a first language. That's fine, but it's hard to understand what I need to do to connect Wifi and do different things within the app. This is fairly disappointing coming from Anker, as I normally like their products. If you have the ability, I would recommend just taking out the SD card and downloading video directly to your computer, as it's probably faster than using the app.

I try to connect to the camera and it gives vague instructions about setting up "tethering" on the camera. it makes no sense. I think they just mean enable Wi-Fi. eventually I got everything going and even installed a version update. the image is good albeit oversharpened. it's hard to read license plates unless you are really close. still for the price it seems okay.

This app used to work, but now that it's been updated after two years of no updates, it won't connect to my two dashcams. In the past, the app was just ok at best. The wifi connection was slow, and it takes a long time to download the video to the phone. I reset the app back to default, and tried to connect to the cameras again. No luck. I hope it's still recording. At least I can take the SD card and put to my laptop.

I haven't used the app too much but so far so good. I use it with my C2 Pro and everything seems to run well. You have to download the video clips to your phone to watch them without being connected to the camera, which it seems some people haven't figured out yet. Once downloaded you can find them in the 'local storage' section, otherwise it will only been viewable by clicking on your camera, while it is connected.

I cannot watch videos remotely. Once I'm away from my vehicle it disconnects from the Wi-Fi, and I am unable to watch any videos that were recorded. Once I'm am in my car then the videos will appear, but I am unable to watch, because it takes so long to download. As far as the unit, it seems to be okay so far. Update: I can't delete locked videos from the dashcam, or the app. The dashcam doesn't have the lock symbol to unlock, or lock videos. Only able to delete without the red triangle 🔺️

The dash cams are good, not great, and the ability to review videos via WiFi is horrible. Constant buffering. The videos will go right back to the beginning mid buffer and repeat. Basically makes the dash cams worthless if you can't properly watch a clip in an emergency situation, like a collision of some sort. Also, forget about downloading the videos... They can take up to 20 or so minutes to transfer a copy to your phone via WiFi...

This app would not connect to my dash cams anymore. I kept getting a wifi tethering error. I tried two different phones and an iPad. All three devices had the same problem. My solution to this problem was to download version 4.1 and use a signature app that locked the old version, so it cannot be updated again. Problem solved! This workaround is only for Android devices. Sorry! I can now connect to my dash cams again. As my Grandfather used to say "If it isn't broken, then don't try and fix it"!

The app is very stable and responsive and cleanly designed. However, the video downloading and sharing is not that great. You can only download videos, and you can only trim a video if you are sharing it to YouTube or Facebook, not the ones saved on your device. I am switching from Yi dash cam and their app was far superior in this regard. I was able to delete video from app and when I downloaded to the phone is when I was able to trim the clip which meant no wait for 1GB 10min file

App is absolute trash. I have no idea what happened. The dash cam is great, but for a product that relies so heavily on wifi tethering and being able to view your videos without having to take your SD card out and manually grab the videos, you'd think the app would work. I can't even get an email sent to me to change my password after getting a new phone. Let alone it just flat out not allowing me to tether to my dash cam. The entire app is just flat out broken.

This app is terrible. Very slow when downloading videos. I'm unable to watch videos directly from the dashcam. You have to download them first otherwise there's just a spinning wheel of death shown. It will connect maybe 1 out of 5 times, but usually once "connected", states there are no videos. It worked better with older versions, but this latest version (running on Android 9/Pixel 2) is an awful experience.

This app was once good. It now requires Precise Location, Bluetooth, & Phone/Dialer just to open the app. Developer claims this is an requirement of my phone (Android). If that is the case, why is this app the only one that requires it just to open? I just want to open the app, download a video and be on my way. You don't need all those services for such a simple task, just wifi for the camera connection. As soon as you turn off any one of those, the app refuses to let you do anything.

The ao is exceptional. set up was easy. Controls worked smoothly & crisp. WiFi set up was flawless. Video access and playback worked without issues. set it to a 5 min loop, worked the full 5 min everytime. love this dash cam. I installed a 64GB MicroSD class10, 100mb transfer speed. I didn't give it a five star rating because I couldn't control the volume. and when I accessed their "feedback " setting the email crashed.hahahah!

Nice for what it is. Overall dont like the fact the video is stored locally on the device even if in wifi mode further you have to be connected via wifi. additionally the wifi radius is small not 20 ft away and it disconnects. if it is truly wifi if i stay connected and my office is about 100 ft away it shiuld still connect if there us power. Like i said concept is okay price is average i think they could do more for functionality.

The camera records pretty nice video when it records. Apparently it is just skipping recording blocks of video so when I went to find some that probably should be submitted to the police it just wasn't there because the camera stopped recording for exactly 1 hour. As for the app itself it is a little strange to have to set the camera in WiFi mode and not be able to do anything on the camera while it is in that mode and it would be helpful to be able to see a live view from the camera.

It worked good when I first got it now it just chooses not to record when it wants to. Every time I've loged into it because I've needed a video it has chosen to be one of the days it just didn't record I reached out to the oem and their only answer was pull the card out and put it in the computer. First off I spent the extra money for a wifi cam so I could pull the videos off with my phone and also it's not recording to the card anyway. I'm so disappointed this use to be a good company

I've only been using it for a day so far, but it seems to run really well aside from show download speeds from the camera to the phone and if you watch a video directly from the camera without downloading, it buffers every few seconds. I'm recording at 1080 though, so I don't expect a great connection speed from the camera. The only complaint I have with the app is that it doesn't have a way to stream live video from the camera to the phone.

Works great for me, I like being able to sync the videos to my phone, even if it is a little slow, I'm patient enough. I haven't had any of the connection issues others have had. The dash cam has nice features, is simple to use and works great for the price paid. I'll probably buy another or two for my other vehicles.

Connecting to cameras just stopped working, reset cameras and re installed app. issue still persisted. Even when connecting to cameras did work, it was clumsy and slow. Running on a fully up to date oneplus 5T. Also the lack of support for switching between cameras is also a big issue when you have more than one camera.

As soon as I connect via WiFi it drops 10 seconds later. Then I have to connect a 2nd time for a continuous connection. If not for that it would have been a 5 star. Problem has persisted since I purchased 8 months ago. I can't be the only one with this issue, unless it's LG V30 related. After a firmware update my issue of dozens of 2-3 second parking mode recordings finally ceased.
