Rock Hero - Guitar Music Game

Uninstalled almost immediately. As soon as I downloaded it, I was hit with a ghost ad upon opening the app that didn't go away even when I was clicked off of the app. I thought starting a song would stop it, but it overlapped, then another ad popped up in the middle of the song. So two ads simultaneously while in the middle of a song? All this in less than 3 minutes of installing. I'd give it 0 stars. This shouldn't even exist. The creator should remove it altogether.

If Guitar Hero was sold exclusively at the Dollar Store, this would be it. Controls are annoying and too low on the screen, generic and boring songs, and of course the insane amount of ads. Not only is it making a truckload of money from you playing for 20 seconds, but it's not even an original concept. At least try to add something new and unique to your game if you're just going to copy another game, and to compensate for how boring it already is.

I searched for "Rock Band" in the app store to find out if there were any games similar to Rock Band. Turns out, there is quite a bit. This one has an OST; however, the songs are not in sync with the notes, you don't earn enough coins to purchase the next songs, and there is an ad after every song. The difficulty changes significantly without any way of getting used to it, and you can easily hit your home button and miss the notes when you continue the game. Not recommended. ~Foxx

l love this game. It makes me smile whenever l play it with my own tunes. Yes, there can always be some niggles, and I'm sure they can help improve things, but l would have to be asked. Graphics simple. Hit reaction tight. Game tunes well written and instructive. Ads not bad, tho you can always turn the web off you know...you won't die. Well done play365. You are Rock Heros. x

When you first sign up, you have to be careful. Not only did it hit me with 2 ads before I even entered the game, the ads displayed SEEM like they are part of the game, and its just your initial start up info. It's not, the info you start to put in is actually for another game (that they're trying to get you to sign up for unknowingly). Ads are extreme and they ask if you want to watch more for coins, but they only give you 3 seconds to answer then they auto play an add. Uninstalling

I used to love this game! But for some reason, hopefully it's just my phone, but the sound is TERRIBLE! The audio is wobbly and unnecessarily slow, even when I increase the speed. There's definitely some bugs that need to be fixed. When I played this game before, it worked great! But for some reason, it's just terrible this time.

I have had rock hero on previous phones. And I loved it. I had a problem,, I would owe say with my phone. There is a little lag still. But that also could be my phone. I like this app. Always have. When I done the review earlier, I just needed a software update. So great app. U can use it on and offline.and play urown songs.

PLEASE DON'T INSTALL THIS GAME!!! THIS GAME RUINED MY SD CARD!!! This is my first and maybe only review of.a game, i'm creating this review just because after using this app, my sd card for phone got corrupted. After using the local option of the game, which i assume that searches for local audio files as an input for the game. I waited for several minutes as the game was prompting me to wait. After several minutes i decided to stop and close the app, after which i started to check my sd card. I could not enter the memory card through the phone's file manager. So i restarted it, after the restart the phone prompted me that the sd card is not supported or cannot be opened and would need to be formatted. That sd card contained files of mine for more than 8 years, it contained tons of memory and i have never encountered such a problem. Right now i am waiting or finding for a sd card reader to check if my files can still be recovered. So if there is anyone that can see my review pls dont install this game!!!!

Listen,the game is fun and all but After a while of having it installed,it started sounding different. The music just seems like it's being slowed down(I don't mean this in a good way) I thought nothing of it at first, but when I tried playing a song it was laggy and the music wasn't on sync with the circles. It's honesty disturbing and if this doesn't get fixed then I'll have to uninstall it. I won't say I recommend it but I won't say I don't,either. T's good for wasting time,consider it.

Overall ok game. I do love the fact that I'm able to play my own music from my phone on this app. My only concern is the app itself not having more than 10 instrumentals to play. With that, I'm disappointed in not having more song options. I'm sorry to have to uninstall for more important apps such as updating my YouTube and keeping my Chase app on the phone.

This is a failed attempt at a Guitar Hero mobile port. The buttons are too close to the screen frame and their hitbox is very small. The songs in general are meh, could provide for some fun if not for the horrible button placement. The frets are almost never synchronized with the song, causing some more issues with the gameplay. Although the automatic custom chart creator is good, it becomes kind of unusable with the absurd amount of ads that appear with every action. Not recommend. Android 8.

This game is genuinely good. The controls are so responsive and the ability to import your own songs and have a chart generated for them is great. And it's actually not super easy either, I imported Through the Fire and Flames and failed a few times before I finally got it. I just wish you could make your own charts. I would love to make some really really hard charts.

This is absolutely garbage. Immediately after opening the app you're attacked with an ad an then a title screen with earrape audio. Upon starting the first "classic" level on "easy" mode, the notes come flying at you with no audio track backing them up. If I could have left this at zero stars I would have, but the Store won't let me post it without at least one. TRASH!!!!!

[THIS REVIEW IS JUST FOR PREVIOUS VERSION] Fantastic, but sometimes it doesn't give me perfect when it should. The last update (in 2018) ruined the game. Ads, horrible design, increased load time multiplied by 5 (I have like 100+songs, in the older version it was loading 2-3 seconds, now it loads for 1.5 minutes), every level has absolutely no beats to tap. Dishonor.

I like it since it is my childhood but can you add were make this buttons were you have to click so you can hit those notes bigger? In the past I have no problem with the buttons since I have an iPad but now I have a phone and I kept missing trying to hit the button. Can you add were you can make it bigger or a setting were you adjust the position of the button?

Ya know the old saying if it ain't broke don't fix it? Well you should learn it! The old version was a master piece, just got a new phone downloaded it and the game RUINED they've change a good design, filled it with ads from the get go . . This is a joke, I'm not mad just absolutely heartbroken to see a once amazing game dragged through the mud for no good reason

meh. the game is OKAY. the thing is there are to many ads, barely any songs to play and im breaking my kneck trying to thee thing pressu thingies. i WOULD give this game a 3 or 4 star review, but im only doing 2 because this game make me rethink my existence. not the biggest fan of the game but its okay, like i said. a few changes like raising the buttons up, adding less ada and more songs to play wpuld be nice.

The game constantly crashes and it doesn't have songs listed in the pictures. It uses your local music and autocharts it. The autocharting is terrible and the default song selection is awful. Don't download this just go find another guitar hero like app

I'd give negative stars if possible games is mega laggy and notes are not in time with music i lost after missing one note and it immediately asked me to buy coins after one round this game is not exciting enough to warrant any in game purchases with all the ads that you get spammed with it should be enough to keep the cheaply made game free

Ther is little to no difference between easy normal and hard, there are ads everywhere, there are barely any free songs and it constantly tells me to get premium. The only redeeming quality of this app is that it allows you to play your own music
