Very good at letting me know when a bill is upcoming, as well as when my credit card has been charged a larger than usual amount. I love that feature, since you can't always trust the people who handle your credit card (restaurants, etc) and gives you a chance to get on top of a possible theft. I love adding each purchase to a category for ease of budgeting too. I love seeing the subscriptions I have coming up, so I can cancel them as needed, too. I do love RocketMoney!! I don't like the fee.

There is something to be said about a piece of mind when it comes to personal finances. Rocket Money places all your bills and spending into easy to read categories. I like that once the initial set up was done, the numbers didn't have to be entered manually. There is so much helpful advice on budgeting and credit use. No pressure to use any of the programs, or pay for subscriptions. Oh, they also kill subscriptions you don't want. The best sell for me was saving 80 dollars car insurance!

Rocket Money used to be great but over time it has turned into another useless app with a yearly subscription that does nothing valuable. The credit score is inaccurate, budgeting doesn't work because it doesn't detect half your transactions, and they don't actually help with cancelling subscriptions or anything like that, they just have links that take you to the website to do it yourself. I was a happy subscriber for over a year, but now I've deleted my account and the app and will not return.

The app is good for a one-stop look at your accounts. It claims it can lower your bills, but that feature has never once been successful. It pretended to work once, lowered my Metronet bill by a bit, forced me to pay part of that saving, and then my next bill was increased by the same amount. I was charged for the app doing nothing.

This app is a lot better than I'd hoped it would be, it has genuinely helped me save 100s, probably 1,000s by now! Being able to see exactly where every penny goes and sorting it into categories really helps you get a visual on your finances, on where you can improve and on where you need to spend less. And on top of that, they let you choose how much you pay for your subscription per month! That truly shows good character I believe, love this app and the support team (they are great) 10/10

AMAZING sums up my experience! (And I'm a VERY strict "Google Reviewer" who doesnt beat around the bush). Now, WHAT THE APP DOES (ON IT'S OWN btw!!) SHOCKED me to see things I was paying for without even knowing! It's EXTREMELY hard & mostly impossible for ME to be able to check my bank account EVERYDAY for automatic payments that come out. As far as the app itself, has lots of features/options- takes some time to navigate/learn. It simplifies things & ALLOWS YOU TO CANCEL RIGHT FROM THE APP!!

I installed and subscribed to the app for one subscription I wanted it to cancel for me but it couldn't help me. It told me the steps to take but I already knew the steps (going in person or writing a certified letter). Furthermore, it does have other features, but I already use the same features on other apps for free. Thus, this app is for you if you are unaware of the subscriptions (and monthly payments) you make, otherwise you will not need it.

Editing because I spent some significant time talking to my bank, who finally admitted that they don't support any 3rd party financial apps like this. But I loved this app, it helped me so much! I'm only knocking off a star because it continued saying that it was successfully synced for a few days after it stopped updating. That could have been bad if I hadn't caught it

Works pretty well, with the exception of duplicating some of my transactions which ive had to manually fix. That part is tolerable, but as other people are mentioning, the app logs me out every 2-3 days. This has occurred several times for me in the last month or 2. I've contacted support on this each time, it's time this gets resolved more permanently or else I'll be finding another budget app.

Within 2 days of using this app I discovered I was paying double on two car insurance accounts that I thought had been canceled. No matter how good with your money you think you are. I assure you there is one lingering thing out there that you probably aren't aware of that this app is going to find. Amazing! And it also lets you choose your monthly payment. You heard that right, it's a sliding scale feature. This is an amazing tool and instant money saver.

OK. Not great. While it DOES help me budget and be more aware of my spending, not all the information is accurate. For example, when their calender says a payment isn't coming out until your payday this Friday, but instead comes out almost a week before, overdrafting your account. I'm hoping that the app just needs to adapt to us, but dang, what a massive oversight

This used to be a good app. The service is good and effective per se but the Android app became unusable months ago. It works for a few days and then it just doesn't open. It hangs on the red screen forever. I've tried clearing cache/data etc but the only thing that makes it work again is to uninstall and re-install again. This is unsustainable also because you never know when it'll get "stuck again"... also it is unacceptable when you're also paying for premium features...

They will charge you a "savings" deposit keep it pending for weeks on end and not let you withdraw the money because it is "pending" even though it is already withdrawn from your account within days of the request. They also raise the price randomly on the subscription even though it's supposed to be "pay what you want" I chose 1 amount and they withdrew a different amount.. I've contacted customer service multiple times and it takes days to get a response..

I was only using the free version for the moment to help keep track of bills and payments. it doesn't do a good job for all the subscriptions so I added it myself to help remember. but what I didn't know is that for adding my own bill reminder it was charging me 12 dollars weekly without telling it it was charging me when the actual subscription wasn't supposed to be billing me till end of the year. so I has to unsubscribe everything and remove my bank from everything.

This app talked me out of using it before I even started. Way too much fluff in the startup process. I don't need to see video previews of everything the app can do- just let me get to the app. Only connects to banks that are on Plaid. 1 out of 3 of the banks I use are on Plaid, and that one couldn't be connected because of an unknown issue. So I skip that, and before I even get to adding credit cards or ANYTHING, I'm getting pop-ups asking me to apply for loans. At that point, I uninstalled.

Notifications are not timely for when money is deposited. They arrive many many hours to days after money is deposited. Thank you so so much!! Dark Mode looks fantastic!! The only minor thing though... I wish you guys kept the top banner/background that has all the Rocket Money colors. It's something that's a Rocket Money signature and unique to your app and brand. I would have kept that as an element to display in both modes, not just Light Mode.

I get all of my bills in one place. You can pay what you think it is worth on some plans. Yes, Rocket Money has a free version, but it operates on a freemium model. The free version allows you to link accounts, track spending, get balance alerts, and manage subscriptions. Premium features—such as automated subscription cancellation, shared accounts, and custom budgeting—cost between $7 and $14 per month. I was already pretty aware of my finances, but I decided to give Rocket Money a try. I didn't realize, or remember until I got charged a subscription fee, that I'd have to pay for this. I didn't like how the link to my financial institution had to be fixed almost every time I logged in. And I hoped for an easier to see/follow budget tracker. Perhaps this works well for others, but it didn't for me. When I cancelled my account the AI bot easily helped me get a refund for the subscription.

The look and feel is nice, very intuitive. Lots of nice features like subscription tracking and useful advice. However, accounts aren't updated regularly and you have to request they be updated individually. It's not automatic or immediate. So you end working with older data. To me, that negates the whole experience. I'm not talking about a transaction or two. It regularly out of date for days and weeks. Definitely not worth the fee they charge.

If you have doubts about trying this app, get it!! It does more than letting you find and cancel subscriptions. You know when bills, subs, and paychecks are coming up. You can budget based on category (groceries, shopping, auto/car, etc) . the app will notify you when you are halfway through and about to max out a category. It does even more. I recommend RM to anyone, esp young people trying to keep track of budget/finances.
