Once you get the Bluetooth to actually connect and stay connected the app works well. For the average user this makes a big improvement in the sound. Navigating through the screens can be a bit confusing when you have no idea what these setting's are or do. A little help with some basic setups or information as to whete to start would be helpful. With some time spent on the internet I was able to establish a starting point. I have a lot more reading to do to figure out how to fine tune my setup.

App no longer works which makes the processor essentially useless. Great work! Update: It seems that a TON of people that get this product, myself included, end up having issues getting it to function properly. IF YOUR DSR1 IS NOT WORKING YOU NEED TO GET A WARRANTY REPLACEMENT ASAP! I have been trying to deal with Tech Support run around non sense for 8 months, finally had a new DSR1 installed today and not at all to my surprise the new unit works perfectly so it was a bad unit the whole time.

very bad. had to buy an ipad. it doesnt work with android. the whole system is useless unless you buy an ios device. blue tooth connection often doesnt work. the dsr1 device constantly needs power disconected physically to reset it so it starts working again with the toyota head unit. when the dsr1 malfunctions, all audio in the car stops. gps and voice commands included. very very bad product and app. none of which was communicated to me by the reseller.

Just had my new audio system installed yesterday. Sounds awesome, however the DSR1 is not connecting to Perfect Tune software on an android (Samsung Galaxy 8). It does not even see the device. I am only giving it 1 star at this point until I can get it fixed. I tried to uninstall then re-install the app with no luck. Location services is turned on, I reboot the phone...It scans and completes but does not show anything on the screen. Rockford Fosgate folks...Can you help?

The DSR1 is a great solution to modern car audio dilemma of in dash routers not being easily swapped out. Unfortunately the app which drives the whole process sucks. Crashes constantly, doesn't connect or won't keep stored settings. Not to mention it not intuitive. 32 band EQ and all the flexibility made very difficult and timely to set on a small screen. This app needs to be completely rebuilt. Give us the control and stability we paid for by buying the $400 dsp and accessories.

this app and product was complete waste of $$. tuning is trash took it to 3 authorized dealers no one can make it work properly, contacted fosgate and they were even more unhelpful and said take it to a dealer $380 later in tuning fees and still bass is trash mids and highs sound like old 1970 2 way paper cone speaker. NOT HAPPY WITH THIS APP AND PRODUCT

So far it looks like I have a $270 paper weight. I have been on the phone a couple of times with the company I purchased from and still can't load a file from my android phone (galaxy j7). Hopefully I can get a refund and purchase something that will actually work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times and yes my location is turned on. Bluetooth connects it just won't import the file I was sent.

Using a Galaxy with this app is a nightmare at times. You lose Bluetooth connection when you switch from your audio app and back. Also the screen doesn't work in landscape mode in certain aspects such as trying to access the advanced eq settings. There is more but I doubt anybody is listening. To me it was a waste of money.

Constantly disconnects using Android. Have tried multiple devices and multiple DSR1s and have the same issue. Good for about 2 minutes then disconnects and can't make the changes needed. Same result on Android 11 and 12. Apple devices don't seem to have the same issue but I hate Capple products.

Awful app for Android using a t-harness. Not to sure if its my Essential phone, the app, or the unit itself but it connects ok, just can't tune it because it states its still in Maestro mode. Used my wifes iphone to tune and it works flawlessly. App seems to have major issues with Android.

Settings not being saved in TIME ALIGNMENT It's really disappointing to see that the customer care representative stating that there is no such issue existing. And this was declared by the agent on the US TOLL FREE NUMBER. However after checking the reviews it is clear that the issue is related to software bug...

Constantly disconnects or wont connect. More often than not, when using the app, the DSR1 stops responding to tuning changes and just makes popping noises when you try to change time alignment. Basically totally useless. iOS version of the app works fine most of the time.

Worst app/product ever. it connects to dsr-1 1% of the time. when it does, it takes forever for it to respond. now randomly it Won't output any audio other than subs... and I can't tell if it's a hardware issue or software issue since it never connects or works...

I'm using the adjustments more and more, as I learn how to play with the app...it just doesn't stay linked all the time. Have to shut off and restart my vehicle several times before it sees the DSR1. But once synced, great!

This device is amazing when it works. But with the new update you are stuck and cant really do much. I have a sound off competition in 2 days and i had to spend $600 on a radio to go around this issue until they fix this app

This version and the one before it killed time delay. Phase works but not time delay. The app is alot more stable connection wise after the last two updates.Will edit my review once the time delay is fixed. Also, subwoofer output is great from intial setup but it seems to get weaker over time. Then resetting everything brings the level back up. edit. 1/1/19 Time delay is still broken. It will change but its not even close to correct. if you go back into the app the values are all different

Product is good. Bluetooth is not connecting, after few min automatically disconnects, don't know, what is the reason, eager to use the tuning function at speaker level for the past 1 week, DSR 1 should have auto calibration tech also implimented asap.

Great DSP random bluetooth disconnects. I'm having issues connecting via bluetooth on my ALPS Q92 running Andro 12 it scans but no connection. Works well on my Note10 I was looking forward to having it work on the tablet to tune it on a larger screen.

I'm now able to use the app. The only way to open advanced setting or setup is to have the phone in portrait mode and then switch to landscape once the new page opens. No other issues at this time but it does seem that with every update one thing gets fixed and a new issue occurs.

Buggy. Time alignment doesn't work. Also, there's quite a bit of lag between button switching and when the dsr1 actually makes the change. It seems like the buttons can forget to change when the actual setting has changed, such as for the polarity switch. Would be five stars if they fixed all the bugs
