Really fun and addictive game with simple controls. There's also lots of ways to customize your rover, which I love, I just wish the parts were a bit more descriptive of what they do, or how they work (i.e. exhaust & gyroscope). Sadly, over the last couple months the ads have gotten a bit more aggressive, and are no longer optional as they used to be (to obtain extra checkpoints & diamonds)...
Fantastic! I felt I got what I was expecting. A suggestion would be add the possibility of expanding the creation grid, and remove the limits on how many items you can have, such as a max of 6 frames or whatnot. That would expand the sandbox and allow more creativity! I still love it, and I don't think that the microtransactions are forced on you, Thankfully!!
Needs more levels kinda for boring. as far as the grind goes it'll take awhile. but its completely possible to get everything in the game. it is what it is. every lv has it's own gravity variant. some people are just dumb. used to have a cool little community. now they have moved it to steam or something. and I dont think they've done anything with it as far a major updates in a few years. might be a dead game
One of the best mobile games I have ever played. What I LOVE in this game is the music. All of the soundtracks are stunning. What I don't like is: when starting a level or dying, the music changes and it cuts the action. when starting a level if you press a button too soon, it doesn't register. Why is there no achievement for finishing all 160 levels and all planets? All these things I don't like won't stop me from giving 5 stars though. Edit: There's a 2?! Thanks devs!
Pretty fun to play around with. But I can't get over how much it relies on microtransactions. It basically has no clear levels. You just buy parts for your car very slowly and try to race for points in levels. You don't need to complete any levels. Just need to gather enough points. Which often requires you race a level over 100 times. And it can take you 50 races to just buy a single wheel. Yep, molasses game. It begs you to spend your hard earned money on it again and again to progress.
Getting anywhere in this game is just too hard. You can feel that they really want you to buy extra coins. After playing this for half an hour, I managed to gather enough coins to buy a frame, a wheel and a battery. Otherwise, the game is okayish. If you ever played Bad Piggies, this is basically a bad rip off with a new look. And one more thing... The engine sound... Seriously, the person creating it should be tortured with this running in the background while having to collect a million coins.
Wow you guys still haven't fixed the gyroscope spinning bug, if you don't know what I'm talking about, here. So when you have a max leveled gyro and you build a ball around your cockpit using the edges or corner blocks and then you launch. If you press the gas button long enough (it's random) your whole build will start spinning on it's own, it'll spin fast enough your creation will break and you'll die. Go to challenge 90 and go a bit fast, it'll happen to you or its just happens to me.
Great game, love the game, have put quite a few hours into it, think items are kinda expensive in rhe beginning but if you save up uour diamonds the carbon chasis is a good investment. I would say for the devs, i wish there was more info on the weight and thrust of your current build + other info on your car. It's kinda inconsistent whether a car works well at all
Well it's a good game, just the progression is really really slow. I don't want to beat a game in a day but not even being able to complete one level completely would be nice. If your willing to do some quick micro pays, ofc you can advance at a "normal rate". Edit 1: daily tasks are way to hard. It's basically a pay to win.
The physics, hill climbing and building mechanics are all fantastic however the progression in the game kills the experience. Everything is extremely expensive. A second gripping wheel is 2000 and you usually get 20ish a run (without watching an add for another 100). Not a ton of customisation options and overall the game is too stingy with gold. They also mix premium car parts with normals which feels cheap. A second treasure part costs diamonds when the first only cost gold like lol what?
Rovercraft, a build-your-own-vehicle 2d exploration game. The levels are challenging but at the same time fun, your given all the parts you need as you progress. The cash shop is completely optional and can get you some cool -cosmetic- parts and a nearly all parts without it. Its fun to challenge yourself with how stupid you can make your vehicle to slide across Neptune. The game even gives you challenges to unlock even more parts (Bigfoot). This deserves 5 stars in my honest opinion.
I really enjoyed the game or at least the first half of it... But man... The last levels are so freaking stupid! The only way to complete them is buying the items such as (wheels batteries etc..) that you can only pay with diamonds, but they are soo expensive and hard to get that it really is a turn off for this game which is a shame... It's like the developers force you to spend real money if you want to complete the game.
This game is ok... I saw it 3 years ago and nothing really has changed. I wish there were more things to do instead of the regular stuff... Maybe like a time trial or player vs ghost mode where you can race agianst others and see who's rover is faster, and maybe a rank system where you could get better equipment for your rover just for winning these races. AND ADD MORE BLOCKS. This game is a really great concept but the devs kind of half-assed it in many ways, and its pay to win. 5 🌟s to 2
what happened.... this games great, long challenging levels, vehicles work as intended and then we've got Rover Craft 2... completed with relative ease, hardest part of the game was weak faulty "maxed out" parts falling off and the apparent terrorists planting bombs in my car, its the only logical reason my car will explode violently without being touched... splits apparent sometimes just holding together in bizzare twisted shapes ... Rover Craft 5 star, 2nd game.... 1 star at best
Honestly, this had to be my favorite game of all time! I've put over 20+ hours into it and love it so far! I only have 2 more planets left and I've beaten all tiers up to 5! My only complaint is how difficult it is to get the really good parts that can only be obtained by the lottery. I don't spend money on mobile games often, so I find it pretty bs that the best parts are basically unattainable. Please fix this?
You can build your own vehicle to best traverse the terrain for each map. I like the variety of different components available. However, I would like if the wheels stats were more varied. There are very similar ones like the steel wheel and sports wheel in addition to most of the wheels having the same amount of traction. Other than that, its a great game.
The game itself is great, but it has a life system that forces you to watch ads just to continue playing. For a Trials-genre game, that is unnacceptable, since it heavily discourages having fun (since that risks lives). If this "feature" was fixed, it'd be an easy 4/5
I mean... I used to love this game, but that was before getting into the higher teir challenges. They are so chance-based that they make the game SUCK! I mean.. Seriously, 80 is a darn hellpit, teir 9 is a hellpit... That isn't to say that some of the challenges are incredibly creative, though. I can't take away more than one star for a single reason.
Fun game, have a lot of potential, various items, planets and ton of challenges, I really wish there were more items to equip, I've won few items in lottery too but they are kind of expensive, playing on planets is fun, trying hard to make a new record and beating challenges, I recently faced a problem in syncing my data, I always log in into a game, I've already tried to reinstall the game and see if it sync up but nah all it does it uses data to download ads, nowdays games have a button that allows players to manually load and save cloud data so can you make sure to provide us that feature? Because I really want my data to be frickin saved and to be loaded whenever I want, thank you
Lots of fun, lots of parts and upgrades and challenging to find the best setup. Stay away from part2 of the game, they ruined it, it is trash and very boring, they just tell you what you can have, all the fun is gone. Please devs rather work on this one :)
