Great and reliable ruler app. Well put together, no distracting content. Keep in mind though, before using the ruler you need to calibrate to get accurate results. This isn't the developer's fault, but some phones don't report accurate DPI settings, so in order to get accurate distances, calibration is needed. It's easy to calibrate in the app though so it's not really a problem. Props to the developer!

It does what it says on the tin. And not a single ad in sight - just a ruler. If I had money to spare, I'd get the donation version. Wanna buy you a beer, dude, because this is a great app. Way too many tool/utility apps are smothered in ads. And while I get that developers need money, it makes tools hard to use. This ones considerate of that - NO advertising at all!

As a maintenance worker in a factory, i need to sometimes make measurements. Its not enough for me to carry a dedicated tape measure, but in a pinch, this app works just fine. It's easy ro use, read, and adjust. I only wish that 0 started slightly higher on the screen so I could get a slightly more accurate measure. None the less, this does its purpose and does it well

This app has helped me over and over as an elementary teacher! I can use it for a ton of little tasks like measuring a space in my classroom that I want to decorate or rearrange, measuring items in a store to see if they will fit the spaces in my classroom, etc. etc. I've also found it to be a fun and helpful tool to help students estimate and measure items in the real world outside of the classroom. I love it!

The only problem with this app is I can't find a way to adjust the position of zero. The screen on my Samsung Galaxy S9 has rounded corners, making it difficult to accurately line up the zero mark, since it's 1/4" (3/8" with my case) from the edge of the phone. I want to move zero from the edge to the point where the curve in the corner straightens. If that setting is added, then I will change my rating to five stars. Oh, and pay no mind to Ivan Overmoyer. He needs to learn how to put his phone's auto-rotate toggle in easy reach, and realize there are good uses for the ruler in both portrait and landscape modes, LOL.

The idea is good and practical. But calibrating needs some improvements. 1) It is better to calibrate with the longest distance possible. 2) the screen drag histereris makes it very difficult to calibrate. Adding the use of the volume keys or + - screen buttons to fine scale the ruler can make it much easier. Cheers!

BE CAREFUL! On my phone the ruler is completely wrong. It says 18 cm but actually it's 15cm. I ordered something in the wrong size because of this app. Definitely double check that the ruler is correct on your device and CALIBRATE IT or you might lose money or worse like I just did, because of this. Annoyingly the app doesn't tell you to calibrate it. It's hidden in the three dots menu that appears when you tap somewhere.

This easy to use app comes in handy almost daily, I buy and sell Jewilery, and this app comes in so handy! Also, I dont remember even seeing an ad, not one ad. A free app with hardly no ads, Amazing When sourcing inventory, I often need to see a size representation on small items. A number in Millimeters, or in Centameters, or even a photograph just doesn't give me a good idea of the dimentions or the mental visuals needed to make the right choice. A++ Thank you for this great tool.

Wish I could give 4.5 instead of 4 for the current version. The simplicity of this app is fantastic. It says what it does, it does what it says. Brilliantly implemented. The ONLY feature that it needs to make it 5 stars is OFFSET. As part of calibration it would phenomenal if we could specify the offset distances (top and left) between the outside of phone case and the Zero mark in the app. For example for me it is 3/16".

Does what it says on the tin. Its a bit finicky to get it perfectly calibrated, though that has to do with the individual devices touch sense sensitivity. But the different methods for setting the scale, like coins or cards make cross checking and calibration on the fly a breeze. Just remember, its only as accurate as you set it! So take your time, get it perfect. NOTE TO DEV: if possible add a way to scale finger motion on screen to calibration. 2:1 finger to scale movement would be awesome.

THIS!!! is an app so simple that one could possibly pick something else and make a mistake. No fancy tricks, what you measure is what you get. Standard or metric, you get simplicity at it's finest. I do like apps that have options, yes, just as most people do, but when you just want to know any measurement of any semi small I tiny object, just place it on the screen and do what you do and BaM!! I could go on and on. Get it!, if you like less complicated!

Free on screen ruler with sliding measuring lines, choice of units, an accurate calibration step, light & dark themes, and no ads! I don't think any improvements are needed! But... during calibration, maybe show & edit the numeric stretch factor. Perhaps add another mode that measures the distance between two sliding lines, so that I don't have to line up with the zero end. More wild brainstorming: optionally lay the ruler diagonally across the screen to get slightly more length.

This app is perfect! I've tried a dozen others & This one's by far the best. It allows manual entry for when I'm shopping & want to visualize the size of something. When measuring in person it allows you to set X,Y lengths separately and with slider bars on the edge. So I can actually measure without the object messing things up. There's also a save feature for recall. It's very professional with a ton of useful features yet somehow provided completely ad free!

Good and easy to use app for quick measurements. Grabs calibration data from your phone's reported DPI info. Uses standard shapes to verify if you don't have an actual ruler nearby (why did you download this otherwise). Zero origin doesn't work too well with phones with rounded screens. Would be an improvement if we could adjust the zero start point.

Ya know what? I don't even have a specific reason to have this app except that I want my phone to be as useful as possible. Now if I need to measure something small, I have a ruler in my pocket. Perfect! I assumed it would need to be calibrated but when I went through the calibration steps it was already dead on. Light mode and dark mode so you can clearly see whatever you're measuring. Not a bunch of ads. Why aren't more apps this simple and so useful?

Designed and works well with its simplicity and ease, just what I was looking for. Also works well with auto-rotate of portrait/landscape view promptly. Would like it if the menu wasn't tap-to-show/hide at the top, but rather always shown in the blank middle realestate (instead of showing, "Tap to..." there).

Perfect. Nothing else to say. Nothing you wouldn't want for this kind of app, everything thoughtfully considered for what you would want. But the dev a beer when you download it, it works, and is accurate. Calibration can be done with commonplace things, like a coin, or a credit card. If you are a madman and have a ruler you can use it, too. The audacity!

This used to be a great app. However, it no longer calibrates correctly with a credit card. So it's not very useful for actually measuring. Specifically, after calibrating with a credit card, 1 inch on a ruler corresponds to about one and a half inches in the application.

Good app good measurement display choices great anytime u need a ruler minus or course the fact that your phone is still ur phone (can't put edge up to things) just saying this would be difficult to measure out something prescice physically in some situations, but it helps you get an idea of what would work and what your looking at.

IDK what to say, it's a ruler app. I find it works well, is easy to calibrate, etc. I've never had an instance where the app is a limitation, the only limitations in this app are with phone dimensions, which it's impossible to solve in an app!
