it's 2025. This app doesn't support password managers. And because it uses a custom keyboard, you can't even paste a password. Because of having to type one instead of using a password manager I use the weakest password possible to login. This is what your "extra security" made me do. Yeah, sure, you block custom keyboards "for security" but it literally causes me to use very weak and shortest possible password. Good job.

The built in keyboard is the worst ever, it's supposed to be "secure" but makes even just setting up the app impossible if you care about actual security. You are unable to paste anything, meaning if you use a password manager and long online banking pin you'll have to manually enter it. Thanks Sparkasse :) Edit: You can't even move the cursor so if you do an oopsie on typing your long password you gotta retype from where the error was..

Same issue as mentioned by other people, the app is not working and not opening, just showing white background. Even after reinstalling, the same issue persists. The usefulness of the banking apps is to be able to operate anytime... If when it's required it doesn't work... the whole process is futile. please look into it. Many people are facing the same issue. Highly problematic. On top of that there is no real time solution from Customer care. Disappointed.

It's not working. It suddenly sropped working on my phone, i pre-installed it, but After the initial screens it just shows the white screen and nothing more. Not possible to approve login to the online bank. No, the settings were not changed, i don't have split view, i don't have any other mode. The REINSTALLATION did not even help

Wanting to make a payment I went to the app and just got a white background and nothing happening, as other reviews may have already mentioned. The app not working is problematic due to it being the only option for the customer to be able to make a payment online where one has to verify this through the app. I'm glad I had me old phone still set up, where the app, although the same screen, at least functioned after waiting 1 or 2 Minutes compared to me current phone, where it doesn't after hours

Terrible app as others mentioned already. I'm surprised how it got 4+ stars. I can't enable biometric approval method - toggle just doesn't respond. Custom keyboard of the app is inaccessible because some buttons are hidden behind the system bar at the bottom - landscape mode isn't supported, and password cannot be pasted from clipboard either. The only workaround is to split the screen vertically, which is inconvenient. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Same problem that everyone is facing, after the update the pushTAN doesn't work even after repeated reinstallations and just shows a grey/black screen after 2 steps. Please urgently fix this issue as online banking cannot be used. I have called and also talked to several people in the bank in person, they don't have any solution for the problem. Whoever is responsible for this app, should look into it asap. Otherwise changing the bank is the last option!

When I tap the "I forgot my login details" link, I can't type anything in boxes in given page. Also whenever I register a new fingerprint, pin or forget my credentials, I have to get a physical mail to re-register back to pushTAN. There must be an option to opt out of this. Such a painful experience.

Are kidding right now? They force their own touchkeyboard on you when entering the password to confirm a money transfer but in the latest update they removed numbers and symbols from their touch keyboard but required upon setup the password to have them. this surely has to be a bug, why did you removed numbers on the keyboard? this doen't make sense. I can't pay rent helppppp

Horrible unnecessary app that forces you to use the horrible standard keyboard of your device, because they block certain other keyboards for safety (I use GBoard a keyboard by Google, so saying it's for security is ridiculous). When your keyboard is blocked they provide you one on their own which however is completely unusable because the numbers are hidden under your task bar. Why we can't just merge this app with the normal Sparkasse App is also beyond me.

the stupidity behind the design of the default keyboard is utterly amazing... they do not even put numbers into the default keyboard and ask us to have secure passwords... and to "fix" the problem, they tell people to change the keyboard of their device. Why would people give up on their customization and do that just for your app?

Its like rocket science. If you have opportunity, dont use this bank. Unnecessary 5 step, 10 step verification. Hard to setup. If you change your phone, have a nice day you need to go to bank to validate some unnecessary paperwork. All i want to do is do transaction. I strongly not suggest this bank. Even one star is extremely much for this app.

With all due respect, I've lived in 4 different countries and had accounts at 6 different banks, but never have I had this many issues with online payments as with Sparkasse and this pushTAN. Actually I've never actually had issues with online payments until I got to Sparkasse

Does not work with Passwordstores like KeePass wicht drastically reduces security and convenience. Push Tan Activation Process is horribly designed and forces you to reenter password several times within a few seconds.

Hopeless! The app is now just showing a blank screen when trying to use it to login to my online bank account. Also, this has nothing to do with the split screen mode on my phone as I don't use that feature anyway. So please fix this issue urgently! This app was working just okay before the latest update!

Parts of the keyboard are inaccessible (hidden behind the phone's navigation bar) .. the problem has existed for a long time and is not being fixed. Good luck with this app.

From Yesterday it. doesn't work only show black screen.I have uninstalled and again reinstalled but didn't work.My phone settings also I have changed but again don't work .I have new barcode I tried but after second step it goes full black don't show anything.Till yesterday it was working.I have tried all possible options including clearing cache etc.Phone restart and all.I don't know now what to do.May be I will change bank if the problem is not solved.

The app is completely broken since the most recent update, rendered unusable and thus not allowing me to access my online banking controls. This is unacceptable for this kind of app and makes me seriously consider switching to a different bank now.

The keyboard for this app is no longer showing any numbers or symbols, so it is impossible to sign in. Other people have had this issue- why isn't something so essential being fixed?

Buggy, lots of errors, weird system(why not all in one app?) , doesn't make banking easier because of complicated setup. Can't read QR code after manual input, connection error. So annoying. You are on your own, Sparkasse can't help you. Problems seem to persist for years. Embarassing for such a huge brand. Thinking about changing banks because of it!
