I loved Safe Lagoon and was with them for over 6 years. Suddenly, the parent app stopped working, I uninstalled and reinstalled and it wouldn't open. I couldn't log in online and costumer service would never help me. After a couple of weeks, I've emailed asking them to cancel my subscription, because I can't log in to do it myself, and they're still not responding. They used to be so good. Very disappointed now.

App is great for the most part. Hopefully there will be an update soon for the location tracking, doesn't locate well most of the time, as well as every single time my child turns their screen off I get a notification that "the location tracking has been deactivated". Other than that this App does everything I need it too! Will update stars when this is fixed. 🌟

Don't do it! After downloading this app, not even two days later, I've stopped receiving any kind of notifications from all of my other apps...email, text messages, etc. I had to call my phone carrier, who then connected me to LG support. After trying to figure out what was wrong with my phone, they figured out the cause of my problems was downloading this 3rd party app. After uninstalling the app, my phone instantly started working properly again.

The app is great how it lets you lock each app individually, instead of the whole phone, on a schedule for each app. However, it wasn't clear to me that it was a free trial, and when the trial was up I had a lot of trouble figuring out how to remove the app from my child's phone. It would not allow me to uninstall it even with my parent code. Finally I figured out that you have to log into to your account online and remove the child's device from the account.

Ideally it should have everything I want, but it just doesn't always work right. For example when a kid requests a certain app that is allowed and has no schedule or time limit block, it still sends me a request, I click permit, and it still doesn't work. It's very disappointing Update: I now cannot get anyone to answer my help chat. Don't waste your money

Update: Still trying to get a response by email, since the in app chat doesn't seem to work. Been emailing since Chrisrmas with NO REPLY! Just sent a 3rd email moments ago. DISAPPOINTING after such a good start. We really liked this app at first but like others have said, the app stops working a lot. I've sent messages thru the app that have gone completely unanswered. I sent some emails that have been answered but there was no follow thru. I've had to uninstall & reinstall a few times.

Safe lagoon is easy to install, easy to set up, and easy to use. Unfortunately, it very buggy, and stops working at random intervals. We tried it for a month, and after a week, we gave up on trying to keep the schedules working - apps would be blocked in the middle of the day, be available at night, be impossible to unlock, etc. The location tracking would turn on and off randomly. The only reliable part was the SMS spy feature, but that we don't use.

App was advertised as free. Installed and it worked great. After a while, it tells me the free trial has expired and that I'll need to upgrade to a monthly subscription. Not happening. Then it was very difficult to remove from my child's phone. Lots of com.android.settings errors, then when disabling its administrator status, the screen would close before you could press the deactivate key. Very shady.

I've had this app for about 9 months trying to see if it met, my needs. It does for the most part. A few things could be improved. My child's phone has to be connected to wifi to send requests and for location. Otherwise it just provides the last known location. Its also very limited on monitoring messaging apps, so I purchased the screen capture feature. I find the schedules a bit confusing at times. I use this in conjunction with familyLink. Its also affordable but would like 1 charge.

I downloaded the app because it was in the free apps section to download. Got a notification so as I check that out I found out I now have to upgrade the app to continue using it and pay for the subscription. Was worth downloading until I found out I had to buy it then it became worthless. Dont say free unless you mean free or at least offer a free version with fewer functions.

*Update: 9 days with no response to email they told me to send to 'fix' the issues.* Wasn't able to upgrade, no response to message, trial ran out along with the discount, was supposed to get a free month for leaving a review but didn't, and the kids had no access to phones because I had no control anymore, wouldn't let me uninstall the app from anywhere on any device, guess I'll be looking for something else and a program to remove what has practically turned into a virus! Very disappointed.

It gives you a free trial, once that's up you can still see some stuff... but i went ahead and paid the 6$ for a month subscription so I could see what my daughter was doing in more detail so I could make sure she was being safe. after a few days, it stopped showing me most of what was going on on her phone, and I connected messenger and it never showed me what she was doing on there. I honestly want a refund, and will find a new app to use for my daughter .

We've installed this app on our 3 children's phones and have been running it for a month, including time away on holiday. It is great for our needs - we can limit the time spent on 'Games' apps (which can be defined) allowing other apps to be used freely during set hours. Rules can be easily amended temporarily or permanently and can be turned off for a set period. Would highly recommend, we've just bought the annual subscription. It is one of the best designed apps to protect the children . Well done!

Does not do what it says it will. I downloaded to both phones, set times and schedules and they do not work. This was NOT a cheap app, to say I am disappointed is an understatement. UPDATE After canceling my subscription they tried to charge me TWO renewal fees, one of about $66 and one of $35 a year after cancelation. BE AWARE OF THIS FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY!

I enjoy this app for using on my 3 kids' phones. There are some downfalls. I wish it gave my notifications about different things. Like pictures taken, Google searches (doesn't show what they actually search every time), when apps get opened. More notifications! I don't like having to go onto the app every single day to see what messages were sent on Snapchat and FB Messenger. Also, don't like it doesn't show what messages and pictures are sent via Snapchat. Could use some updates to be better.

When I first tried this app, I thought it was great but after I subscribed to the 1 year option, things started going haywire. My schedule and screen limits would somehow change on their own. I went back and for with Andrew in their IT department for over 3 weeks trying different ways to correct the problem. Nothing worked! Im beyond frustrated esp after trying to give them a chance. Now everytime I ask for a refund, no response to my request. I would NOT pay for this app!

Has completely locked my daughter's phone. The setup is stuck midway through so it is impossible to delete. I emailed a question about the location featured not working early on and received a reply quickly however now I have messaged several times and received no reply. I think they know that they have a glitch. Beware you will probably have to reset your phone if it does what it has to me. Nice app layout. Sad I would have paid for it if it worked as advertised.

This is not the most user friendly but the average person should be able to maneuver through it. The app doesn't always work, at times it needs to be reinstalled... customer support is lacking... it isn't inexpensive either... I'm considering a differnt app... had this for several months if customer support was better (you are never compensated for time you've paid for and the app doesn't work and they often take days to respond)

I removed the app from our phones several months ago. I acknowledge that I forgot to cancel the subscription. When the renewal showed up on my credit card statement, I checked email and text for any renewal notifications. The last communication from the company was six months ago, an Access Request from my daughter. Considering the facts that the company's app activity tracking will show the service has not been accessed for six months and there was no advanced notification of the subscription renewal, I am optimistic that the $65 subscription renewal will be refunded according to the "Cooling Off Period." The app was great when we were using it. My review of the app itself is five stars; however, the lack of billing notifications is ethically suspicious.

The app has been very helpful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was difficult to navigate at first. I feel most times when a parent is looking for a monitoring app there is something they are wanting to monitor & it's difficult to read through so many tips to get to where you need to be. Other than that the app has all the features I need & the alerts are great.
