Frustrating to navigate. For example, when scrolling vertically through content, if your thumb wanders just a little bit left or right, the screen will scroll left or right to a completely different tab of content. It's way too sensitive in that regard. Another example would be when reading a news story and you want to go back to the list of articles, there is no mechanism WITHIN the app to do so. You have to use your phone's "back (<)" button. This usually takes you to your phone's home screen.

I'm sick and tired of having to watch the buffering circle whenever the show I'm watching live freezes, which happens quite frequently. I installed this app so that I could watch the 1st hour of Mike Gallagher's show because the, after Salem sold the local radio that carried his show, the radio station I now listen to only carries the last 2. The commercials, even with the volume off, are obnoxious but I'd willingly endure them if I could watch Mike without the constant buffering. 😤😤😤😤

I know there's a lot of functionality that your app can offer, but I only needed to do one thing. When I tap an SNC notification on my Android phone, it only take me to that story no more than 50% of the time. Half the time it takes me to the main app screen and that's it. And when I go searching for the story on the app I can't find it, so the app does not meet my needs, uninstalling!

The app is buggy as heck, for the Samsung/Android Galaxy S9. After it shows the 'Watch Live/ Up Next' page, and you have touched 'Watch Now" box, it may immediately load the active link. Or, take up to nearly 16 seconds. Then, during the show it may freeze up for no reason. Also, when one goes to the phone home screen, most of the time the app dumps. Also it is possible to have two over lapping.

Love the great content, but the app needs lots of help - 1) keeps playing a prior clip even after I click on another one. 2) audio keeps playing even after i quit the app. when watching a clip. 3) I can't get to android phone menu when watching a clip - i keep moving the clip to a later spot when I try to find the android home screen button.

Yes, I always enjoy The Larry Elder Show. He is always insightful and always crosses his "i's" and dots his "T's" of his Subject matter to keep us informed.

I love the channel on TV, but 6 minutes of the program then 6 minutes of advertisements is ridiculous. I downloaded the app to get the headlines when I don't have time to watch the whole TV version BUT now I can't view 1 clip without a repetitive ad. I wish none of the hosts or guests would use even occasional profanity & that SNC would not allow gambling & other repulsive ads. I thought this was a Christian app. I'm uninstalling.

I love the Salem News Channel and all the hosts!! The local radio station that carried Salem, suddenly changed their format to oldies. I downloaded the app on my phone and it kept cutting out. I continued to try to listen....Shortly after that I started receiving " high data usage" warnings. I called my cell phone company and they determined the Salem app caused the 3GB data drain. I used the app less than an hour. I normally use less than 1GB per month. Please, please fix this app!

My android phone no longer allows the app to open. When I try to open it the screen card pops up and the app just hangs there not opening. This is after having a working app for about a year. I still get notifications but can't access the app.

Won't let me watch shows "on demand" which is my preference since all the irritating, repetitious commercials are cut out, because 'Watch Live" is plastered over 60% of my screen and I can't watch it even if I wanted to because of the freaking buffering circle. It's no wonder Salem's average rating is only 3.9 stars whereas it's 4.8 to 4.9 for most other apps. I'm left with no choice but to uninstall this app.

These are pod casts, not live. Thats ok. But what happens is the playing gets interrupted some how and the video restarts somewhere else. Some times it pick right back up and continue but most times it doesnt. Gets flustrating trying to figure it out.

UI is basically unusable. Trying to scroll up/down one handed almost invariably goes left/right (typically going from the news tab to the saved tab). Tapping a news article also frequently jumps tabs. Even scrolling within a selected article often jumps to the saved tab. Please change the UI to eliminate side scrolling, and instead use a tap on a tab to change to it.

Trying to watch under the live tv tab and it keeps switching to the home tab, interrupting the show. Also it won't rotate into landscape view. It stopped working properly about 2 weeks ago. Very frustrating. I'm tempted to just delete the infernal thing. Update - couldn't handle the frustration of dealing with this app anymore. It's deleted.

I love Salem News Channel!!! That being said, the app itself needs improvement. Main improvement, when watching using the app, you can not minimize to a small screen. If you want to use your phone while watching, the app closes, which pretty much make the app useless for me.

When using this app on my phone, I'm unable to watch anything. When I click on what I want to watch, it just scrolls to the image of the following host. There's a U-shaped formation on the screen that seems to prevent me from trying to access anything. I know that this is a new development, but you can do better, Salem. A recent problem is that users can install the Salem News Channel app, but can't open it. Not only that, it has disappeared from my home screen and app tray. What gives!?

Very easy to find the content I wanted after an quick download. The ads are at least targeted and interesting to me because they're from Salem:-) It's really nice to see the added content from what I've been listening to on the radio.

I really want to like this app but until they fix it so you can minimize the app and it continues playing back it goes into oblivion. It is 2025, people multi-task and this app gives you the option of watch continously or dont get any content.

App freezes on my android phone and won't load most of the time. When it does load I can be watching a recorded program and it freezes. Same thing happens sometimes on my integrated FIRE TV.

It tells me when I open the app that there is an upgrade. So I click upgrade and now the app is nowhere to be found. It still shows it is installed but the app icon is missing. That is the reason for the 1 star. Please fix it .
