App does not work. Cannot access coupons because the App will not allow me to complete my profile. "All fields must be filled" error when they are in fact filled. Even bothered to ask a Save mart employee if they knew what i was doing wrong. Employee played with it for a minute or two and she also could not get it. Tried to re-install, restart, nothing..now app is getting deleted. Not the end of the world but this is one of the worse bugs I've encountered in what should be a Legit app.
Don't waste your time downloading this. The form used to enter your personal contact info is buggy - keeps giving "all fields required" errors even though I've completed all fields. I have made numerous attempts, un-installed and reinstalled, restarted my device, etc. My device is modern and up to date. Folks working at my local store are stumped too. I went through the whole same process a couple months ago with the same result. This app is apparently unmaintained - FAIL!
Used to be great. It would show all coupons and savings & you could organize them and search for them. It also let you create a shopping list with pictures, which was perfect for my husband. Now the coupons won't always show up, even when they are special sales. The shipping tool for the online ad only snips 1 item when it shows a group of products for that price. It also doesn't put the prices on the list. You can't sort coupons to find relevant ones. It now says it's not optimized for Android.
One of the worst shopping apps I have ever used. For some reason, while signing up, it didn't register the area code in my phone number correctly, so I wasn't able to use it. Went to change it, and you can't! I had to email them to change MY phone number. Asked them why I can't change my personal information, no answer. Went to the store today, and the app just would not log in. Even updated my password. I even have biometrics set up. I click log in, then nothing. Shop elsewhere.
Terrible so far! The best thing it does is find the nearest store, like I haven't figured that out already. Tells you how many reward points you have but not how to redeem them. Now they have digital offers, just "Download the app and save." I've downloaded the app and those items show up in the weekly add at the regular price. Do you get the discount at the store automatically? Just tell me somewhere!
Everytime I open the app I log in and it goes to the "Complete your profile" page. So I enter my name, email address, phone number, whatever, and hit the button to complete and continue and it won't go. It's like the button doesn't work so I can't get any further than that. Can't say much about the workings of the app itself or coupons or shopping experience because I've never gotten past the "complete your profile" page. Lame.
The set up of the app is great to use...if I can actually get it to work. It's easily navigatable and the features are easy to use and as always the savings are wonderful.... but I often have to uninstall and reinstall in order to sign in because even when I sign in, it won't let me pass the login page. Uninstalling has been my only work around. If you can fix the bugs, 5 stars all the way.
I'm updating my review to 4 stars because Savemart has made huge improvements. It's no longer clunky and awkward to navigate, it doesn't log me out or say invalid password every time. Deals are easier to find, more available, and better. It's a massive improvement. That being said, I almost did 3 stars because it's still missing the ability to price shop in the app. I don't want to sign up for instacart delivery. All I want is to look up prices to compare, it's a critical part of a store app.
This app is completely worthless! If I could give negative stars I would but 1 will have to suffice. It refuses to accept any password or email even though it requires them for coupons. I must have tried signing up a dozen different times with a number of emails and not one of them worked. The coupons aren't even very useful. Do yourself a favor a shop somewhere else save your time, money, and sanity by avoiding "Save" mart.
This is the worst app. It won't let me sign in, then I go through the steps to change password (even though I know it's correct), and it still won't let me sign in! Just keeps staying on the sign in page. I've had to delete and reinstall 3 times now. With digital coupons required for your specials, you really need to fix the app.
App is okay but slow and takes a long time to search for items. Many items that come up in searched words have nothing to do with item you're looking for. In general, the Carmichael, CA weekly flyer won't open on the morning of the first day ad breaks. Sometimes comes out in afternoon or Thurs morning. Don't use app to shop. Only use app to TRY to see weekly ad since Save Mart no longer places weekly ad in newspaper or in mail delivery. Overall, app is so-so.
Put an ADD ALL option for the coupons. I have arthritis and my fingers hurt trying to add them. Plus, not everyone has 20-30 minutes to scroll through and add what you want. Plus most of the time the coupons don't register the first time so you have to do it again. Too much hassle to get a sale price. Makes me want to shop elsewhere. App always says there's no internet connection even when you have one. Go back to giving sale prices with just the phone number.
Was able to login on a family members phone which is exactly the same as mine but cannot login with mine, support blames it on my phone. Discriminatory practice against elderly by forcing the use of digital coupons for discounts when they can't utilize the app. Even after attempts to utilize the app it still doesn't work. Greedy corporate price gougers. Watch out for other things at the stores like price per lb differences on the same exact hams in the cools. They are deceptive and shady.
Worked fine until it didn't. This app used to allow me to order from the grocery store online so I could go pick up my supplies without going in unless I wanted to. Now the app just gives me the error "Your password must contain letters, numbers, and a special character" despite the password meeting all said requirements. It doesn’t matter if i type it all in, it doesn't work anymore.
Don't download the app, it doesn't work after the first time logging in. I had to change the password a couple times and still won't let me in into my account it just idles not doing anything else. I'm ready to Uninstall the app I don't want to have to re-download it again that might be the case if it's this much of a hassle and repeat the password process the app needs to be fixed.
You have signs all over your store that say digital coupon but it doesn't show a limit and then when you try to get the coupon at the register it doesn't allow it it wants you to recreate a login and app just make it simple This is a joke I wish the old owned still owned Savemart employees also do too. I'm not shopping here anymore after 30 plus years. You make it hard to give my money to you.
This app is terrible. I spend 10 minutes in the store trying to log in. I have emailed customer repeatedly about the problem and am told they are working on it. If you advertise a price that no one can take advantage of that is FALSE advertising! Savemart is quite pricey and I only shop there for the sale items. A can of Progresso soup should not be $4.99. Lately I don't shop there at all.
I've used the app for a while, and it has undergone some changes in the past few years. It seems buggy now. When I get a notification for a deal and tap the notification, it takes me to the app, but I can't find the deal specific to the notification. For example, it will say 2x points, but when I get into the app, I can't find that deal anywhere. The app also seems more difficult to navigate than before. There are other problems, but there are not enough characters to state them.
Slow. Seldom works at home. Doesn't work in store at all. I've even solicited the help of the manager; just can't make it work. Doesn't scan. I typically don't shop at Savemart because of the frustration. Other stores with ap work okay. Rather shop at a place that doesn't play the ap game than deal with the anger and frustration. I get the feeling that others get discounts while I have to pay list because I don't have a downloaded or tagged coupon. No, I don't have an iPhone, nor will I.
So far, not so good! When signing up, the app asks for my phone number. I later find that the number is being used as my rewards number. My rewards are under my home phone, not my cell. And there seems to be no way to change it! If you wanted my rewards phone number, that is how you should have asked for it! Stupid that I can't modify and NOWHERE on the app is there a "contact us" option!
