I just received a missed call from +92 country code WhatsApp call with the profile picture impersonation of ICA officer. Scam shield app does not allow me to upload the screenshot from WhatsApp. Only options are provide details of SMS, WhatsApp call number etc. Can improve further on the app interface, thank you!

it was working well even without Scamshield app,. now it's broken, it doesn't play any greeting for callers or give me a visual choice to make. NOW WHAT??? I am still PAYING ya know ....

got the scam shield app but why still receive local number scams call and overseas call useless app cannot totally block scams number

My dad was almost scammed, only halted by the bank, and I realised that all the numbers involved were already previously reported but not blocked by Scamshield, your agency seriously needs to put in more resources to verify and block reported numbers more efficiently else this app is as good as useless and the public who are helping to report scammers will simply lose faith and stop reporting. Also, allow us to attach police reports as supporting evidence to immediately block numbers.

Scamshield was good and easy to report scammers phishing in the mid stage, but now it so requires users to answer calls from Strangers/Scammers that are calling from overseas before WE can report the caller to warn others in the database. If we don't answer the scammer's caller. I DO NOT HAVE callers calling me from overseas. I have other means to communicate by. Why make it so difficult?

Waited for a very very long time for this app to be available. There is room for improvement. For example, it would be more effective if there's an option to "check" & submit SCAM number directly upon receiving a call & an option to forward the SCAM message. For now its just too manual & it's not encouraging for users to report it right away.

Most reviews are about the better integration of the reporting of unknown scams. Indeed the manual copying of phone number and content for each sms not automatically blocked by the app makes it less user friendly and hence might not help with wider adoption. Hope developers will take note. Also thankful that something like this has the support of SPF.

Reporting should auto retrieve sender number and message from phone's SMS and let the user select which one to report. Without this feature, the adoption of reporting will be very low as it is just too inconvenient to do it. In my case I can't copy the sender number and have to remember it to enter manually to the app. Not only it is inconvenient it is also highly prone to mistakes. Big thumb down on not having it automated. I am referring to messages that was not being notified by the app.

Please remove the characters limit because some scam messages are really long, and it always get cut off, so I have to edit myself and submit it again. Very troublesome. Even better if you could allow the app to auto detect scam messages and report straight to your agency immediately. Saves all the hassle to copy and paste.

I was added into a scam whatsapp group with multiple scamming phone numbers inside. There is no method to report a group of numbers at once. The app is specifically for being scammed 1 on 1 but not useful for being scammed by a circle of scammers as if there is 50 scammers in a group of 600 people added to the whatsapp group. One cannot be expected to report all 1 by 1. It would be easier for us to just take a screenshot of the numbers and send to the police.

Good apps. Scam calls & messages has reduced after installing it & getting the prompts. I've been receiving scam calls+messages starting from once a week to almost everyday recently. Was reluctant to install the apps at first, but decide to give it a try and so far it works as described. Thanks, developer..n continue the good works!

App is quite useless literally. After installing the app, I kept getting calls from unknown calllers, I wanted to add those numbers to the databse so to help others avoid these callers too but the app do not allow me to submit a report just because I did not pick up these calls.I am unsure if this app itself had compromised my phone number so I uninstalled it.

Good effort for a worthy cause. But: -Since October hasnt been blocking or flagging scam SMS. What changed? -I submitted several scam reports and never had feedback. Need a yes/no, in case I ignore a real message. Society cannot just assume all important messages are fake! -Request: can we have a page showing top 5 current scams being reported, so can learn and compare?

What is the use of faithfully copying down or pasting the # to report, but those #s were still able to reach my phones with the notification "Likely Scam"! I don't see any security features built to the app, not even one. The developers basically collected the data for whatever reasons? For data mining? For so-called data analysis??? Ultimately, dump the data away?

Still received scammer call, and when want to report the scammer phone number but can't input. The scamshield report side keep crashing when I'm trying to input phone number, can't complete the report process at all. It's been so long time, why have fix up this bug issues?? Then how we are going to report scam call/msg?? That makes scamshield app useless to us.

Need website reporting as a lot don't want to install the app for it and have to uninstall afterward. That what I did, as no other choice. This make the amount of reported case to be greatly affected. Now reinstall to report 1 more case Also why these scam report we file not forward to police? It make us have to report twice for one incident

I have set ScamShield as default app for Scam & Spam Check, however it didn't work (alerting on screen, etc.), rely on me to manually copy and paste the number inside the app to check instead. Might not be helpful to people who is not well-versed with technicalities. I will head back to TrueCaller app for now until this has been solved. Keep it up. Thanks ScamShield Team.

I think more can be done to improve this product, it just sends an alert, that's it, and to report, you have to manually key in the details, which is silly. I downloaded it as i thought it could work like a blacklist and 1-button scam report app... but unfortunately no such features.

These apps beginning can only help me to different shape which messages I could look into, but it can't stop those people keep sending messages, calls, advertising (it can be scammer's skills.etc. apps like OCTC for investment in google play store ,it design till you are very difficult not to click on their apps. I think we could only prevent being scams by not install with apps example like Facebook, Instagram, Google play, WhatsApp, WeChat....
