Used the free version for years, as it have me just what I needed for basic info and check engine diagnosis. With a recent update, much more of the app is 'Pro version only', which is the developers right but makes the app far less useful unless you choose to pay. Time to find another app. As a bonus, I'll end up with a little better user experience (better ordering of monitored items, for example, making it easier to find the O2 sensor in a list of options)

I bought the Pro version, and it's worth the price. I'm a Smog Tech and when I need to show a customer the state of their vehicle this app displays the codes and monitors with a lot of clarity. I don't like that all the of the Freeze Frame data such as Fuel Trim information is not displayed. There had been times when Permanent Codes were not displayed. Since the last update, you need to use the Dark Theme to view the control buttons, such as the ones used to select data pids.

It connects easily and it gives u many parameters to look at. But you need a PhD in engineering to understand it most of it. Simple ones are fine but if each included a simple explanation it will make this app the best in the market; Also another thing is that I can't email the log files or download them in txt or notepad++ files so we can easily read them.

Does the basics better than competitors. Today my van lost the torque and eventually, the check engine light came on. Some apps require money for a single faults reset, others require a full version of the app and they still wouldn't do what you'd like. This app showed me the errors, let me reset them and eventually I could make a workaround the fault and keep driving home. Thank you so much!

Every time I run the app it finds the odb2 unit it finds the computer the ECM and then dies on the phone restart app. The real interesting thing about this is that I'm sitting alongside the highway broken. I think it's the fuel pump. But now out of the few I was looking to make work I have to get rid of this app and try to find another one. First in Play Store they all look like they're going to work until you install them then they tell you that it cost money. That's no good Google.

I assumed for the price I paid for a elm knockoff I'd be dissapoited then connected to this app, I was not dissappointed with the hardware and even with the basic version of this made it great but I quickly realized the developers need to eat and your asking price for a fully capable lifetime license was well within my means as well as everyone's. What you created, (not fully explored) gives back to the people, what most manufacturers guage into your wallet to take what we don't have. Ty

You can't clear/erase codes, it just saves them. Not to mention it won't connect to scan either. I keep getting (error connection) code plus no actual customer support. I paid $4 for the "premium" version too which is no different from the basic version. Don't waste your time with this app.

This was one of the best obd2 scanner apps that I've used. I use it on my win7 laptop and on my Android phone. The problem I have now is it worked fine with my ELM327 adapter last year. Just tried it again and the app connects to the dongle on Bluetooth, but gives an error as if the ECM is off and it is not. Looks like I lost something when the app was updated . I hope they can fix this because I do not want to buy a different dongle just to work with this app

Good little app to reset those pesky trouble codes. Simple to connect but a little tricky to pick the right engine... but after you figured out your engine type you are good to go. Also the free version allows you to actively monitor two simultaneous readings of your choosing.

The software says "cannot connect to ECU" and the ELM device is Partially Compatible. My ELM paired with my Samsung Android phone. The software keeps on initializing but it cannot succesfully read or do the command Follow-Up Review : I think the truck's wirings might be defective, maybe fuse becausw THE SOFTWARE WORKED on my other car.

Hands down this is one of the best apks I have used in a while. Although I do use other diagnostic apks for more specific items within the obd2 systems, this apk serves as a back up and performs as described. Although I do wish the developer would add more specific functions for asian vehicles(Nissan,Toyota, etc...) Great job otherwise to the developers 👍

Reads and clears trouble codes without fuss and without cost. Does a lot more that I don't need including an easy to use live datastream viewer and DTC freeze frame viewer etc, etc. Hasn't been updated for a while which is a good thing as its perfect as it is and updates so very often break things and randomly move functionality around.

I'm the shop foreman for a German sports car company. This does what is needed w/o a bunch of silly nonsense like dials, needles and graphs. Definitely more professional than the others I've tried. A quick alternative to a professional scan tool.

Does not work with ELM 327 MINI OBD II Bluetooth adaptor. During setup it sees it at first but then it always fails with an error saying the adaptor is not found. I know the adaptor isn't the issue because I can use it with Torque Pro and there are no other apps using the adaptor when I try to use ScanMaster.

Works good for pulling trouble codes. It does lose connecting at times to the Mr. Mechanic OBDII that I have. I would get the full version but not all the functions in the free version work. Not sure if it a compatibility thing but would be a great app if it did.

Tried this with an old ELM 327 that supports ODBII protocols on a 2012 Honda, and using BT connection. It verified the catalytic converter was the problem, i fixed it, and was able to clear the error code. Only issue is that to clear it you have to pick the Trashcan button, which is not obvious. Developers would do themselves a favor by changing this.

Worked very well 2007 Avalanche. It clears error code, overall, fairly intuitive and works! Zero cost. Did have to connect the BT odb2 in settings, then again in the app when it starts, but worked well,!
