Not bad. Less obtrusive than the paid version of MLB At Bat. The main issue I have with it is that it doesn't have screen rotate. If I want to expand stats, for example, I have to scroll thru them. With other apps, I can turn my phone horizontally and it will automatically expand the stats. A bit annoying considering screen rotate is a pretty common thing.
Simple with very fast updates. Not cluttered with ads. You can change the color scheme and select favorite teams to show their scores at the top and own news feed. One suggestion would to be able to change what screen opens up when you open the app. In example, when you click the app, it opens up the the news section. However, it's understandable because it is called Scores App. 😂 5 Stars.
Can't believe all that this app does, and for only $3.99 a year. Great app - been using it for years. Highly recommend.
Thanks, Superfan Sports for keeping the app simple, but still informative. STILL Don't need any other baseball app but this one. 🖐🏼'baseballs' for Superfan Sports app - ⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾👍🏻
EDIT: USED to be brilliant. Now, every time I open the app it gives you a massive pop-up that you have to wait for, and when that disappears there's constant banners. I was fine with the latter, but I'm not dealing with disgusting popups when I want to simply check a score. They got too greedy. Original: Everything you could possibly want in an app for MLB games. Gives you scores, times (local to your timezone) and stats, with minimal (if any, since I don't notice them) ads. Perfect.
Easy to use, lots of options, play updates have minimal delay, and it runs smoothly without freezing. Nicely done!
The in-game activity is spot on. Most times a 5-7 second delay in real time action, but very accurate.
Ads are intrusive and often block content. Can be hard to leave an ad and access the content.
Since the developer went guerilla on ads in this app, I can no longer recommend it and would not ever use it. Instead of displaying ads in an unobtrusive way that is not disruptive, the developer has foolishly chosen to put full screen ads in your face, forcing you to resort to using the power button to get out of the app. In other words the developer has turned this app into a pile of garbage.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s. GO DODGERS! At first this seems to be an all teams, generic sort of thing. It CAN be, but you can customize it. First thing, set the filter to feature YOUR team. It's a little tricky getting it right, but when you do, every time you open the app, up pops YOUR team's past games and upcoming ones (with team colors). During play, balls/strikes update w/ slight lag. Fielding and scoring, too. Notifys 10 min before 1st pitch and mine says "Time for Dodgers baseball !" by Vinny(from Zedge).
App runs great. Info is accurate and current. Format is easy to read. I only wish there were more widget options. If I could put standings, stats, etc. as well as the day's scores on my home screen then I would find this app more useful. Thanks for making a great app.
Good app that could be better with some simple improvements: 1) In player stats, put BA, OBP, SP, & OPS directly next to each other. 2) Provide ability to sort player stats by any column. 3) Tapping on a previously-played game in a team's schedule should display their W-L record through that game, not their present W-L record.
Needs some improvements. There's a lot of info missing. Some of the columns heading info is not all there. You can't see a lot of the numbers. For example, you look up a team to see what their record is and all you will see is 17- . You need to widen the columns so that ALL the information can be seen on a phone. Updated. With the last update I changed from 2☆ to 5☆ because you can see all the information now. Makes it a lot better.
Usually a decent app, especially for keeping track of games and how your favorite team is doing. After the last update which took away individual team news, not a good idea. And a lower star rating as well. Return the team news section if you want a higher rating. Also please include a option for which sports related news sources individual users can select or block
The stats are wrong. I looked up a teams stats through 4 games from the box scores and they have 23 Total hits and the app says 31 and it doesn't even show all the players for hitting stats on the team. It shows 7. - updated the 7 players is fixed but the team stats aren't. If you click on the Mariners and open team stats it says they're hitting .201, but if you go to the stat leaders page and view all for team batting avg, they're hitting .177 which is correct cuz I double checked myself
This app is perfect for MLB. I was using the official MLB app and it was buggy and had no proper support. This app gives all the details I need during a game. It has one small ad on all the time and one full screen ad once every 6 days which is fine. It tells you which TV and radio stations the game is on if you have access to those channels.
In a world where Android widgets are for some reason out of fashion (despite them being one of the best Android features), this widget carries the torch forward. It's super nice to see tons of scores at a glance in real time without having to open an app. The app itself also has a great interface (way better than the MLB app) and I use it regularly for checking standings. My only complaint is that your starred teams aren't pinned to the top of the widget
Best app for keeping up with your favorite teams' games. You pick the teams you want to track, and what you want to track "live." Plus you can look at all the game & player stats for any game. Easy (and excellent!) navigation. Ads are not too intrusive.
Yeah, I've been using this application for years and this is my first time rating this application. Overall, it's a GREAT app but the player stats and the team stats don't link up, line up. Something's amiss. I hate all the different colors. What's wrong with using the colors red, white, blue, black & orange or the colors of American baseball teams. Lately green, my favorite color, is toxic.
Used to be a great app. Now doing full screen ads. I hate full screen ads. Thanks for the feedback and I appreciate your honesty. I do notice that the full screen ads are spaced out, so thanks for that. Still detest them, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I'll keep the app on my phone for now, and we'll see how it goes. The app is great (I put it on my wife's phone, too), but as usual the ads are annoying.
